While other tutors simply walked me through the material, Ben taught me how to think about math concepts and principles, which gave me a fresh perspective. For someone like me, that's saying a lot!! Highly recommended and very affordable.

Well-qualified, patient, and helpful. Individualized tutoring can make all the difference in your success - I can see where you are hitting a snag in your progress and we can work from there. Are you an adult student independently studying mathematics, physics, or computer science to further your professional development and/or personal interest? In addition to tutoring college and high school students, I have worked with several adult students with towards their own specific educational goals, to their great satisfaction. I retired as a full professor of mathematics (Indiana University) after teaching at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Indiana University. I returned to California and worked for years as a Software Engineer/Scientist at Apple, AutoDesk, and various biotech companies - on computer graphics, CAD, macro molecule 3D modeling, biotechnology algorithm development and machine learning, and software innovation for multivariate analysis. I have tutored and taught since I was a freshman in high school. I enjoy teaching and have put a lot of thought into how we learn. I would like to help you learn and thrive in your studies. While many of them were teaching for years and…read morehad fancy websites, their actual teaching styles do not connect and motivate high school students. The first day my freshman high schooler met with Rishabh, they connected right away. Since Rishabh went through California high schools a few years back, he's very informed about curriculum and also with extracurriculars. He works with the student together to create a study plan for multiple subjects. He keeps a long-term goal to be successful at college admissions - by advising on courses, extracurriculars, and athletics. Rishabh's style is to teach to learn the actual concepts, and not just to memorize for tests or grades. Before Rishabh, most of my child's grades were low Bs, and now it's As across the board. If you're looking for a tutor who will motivate your child to learn, as well as improve grades with a college plan, then I fully recommend Rishabh as the tutor.

My son was really struggling with Math 2 during his sophomore year and was at risk of failing. With Rishabh's guidance, my son not only caught up but truly understood and became interested in the material for the first time. Rishabh speaks not only about his classes but his other interests as well -- and this relationship has made my teen trust, respect, and connect with him more. This year, his junior year, he finished with an A in math. Beyond grades, he has also gained confidence in the other classes Rishabh has helped him with and no longer dreads starting on homework. If you're looking for a tutor who can connect with your child and takes the time to make sure they really get it, we highly recommend Rishabh!
