I had an unusual question and the older gentleman working the cashier till at the front of the store not only offered flexibility with his answer, but also great service on the way out (and sharing a story behind the name "WD-40" :) The store is logically arranged; the pricing can be comparable the big box brands (the tags spread across various items on shelving seem to suggest rotating sales that help with cost also). Parking is pretty convenient too: a few free street parking spots upfront and then a more private lot in the back.

I just bought a barbeque cleaning tool called "scrub daddy"…read more I am totally tired of either using something with bristles that break off and fall into our food, or something that's plastic and burns on the barbeque and leaves plastic residue to be transferred to our food... So I went into Home Hardware looking for a solution and they suggested this scrub daddy brush. I've just used it for the first time. I did not use ice water. I just use cold water and soaked it in the water for one minute while the barbeque is warming up to 325°... I thought I'd keep it under the 350° limit they suggest. And it took two swipes to clean all the residue off my barbeque so I'm ready to grill a steak.! impressive! Home Hardware!!
