I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.

He had a bad attitude about needing previous records, even though the history was mostly detailed on their intake form. Then he was becoming very upset that I wasn't walking fast enough out of the exam room: so my niece tried to ask him to be patient because I'm over 97 years old, have bad arthritic knees, poor vision and walk with a cane. He got angry and yelled for us to never come back. We have never experienced a doctor with such unprofessionalism. To make things worse, they keep trying to bill me more than $100 when they are not allowed to do so. We tried to call the billing department but was met with more unprofessional behavior. I have a special needs plan that combines Medicare and Medicaid. With this kind of "bill first" plan, they aren't allowed to bill me. they tried to claim my Medicaid wasn't active which is false. But when we tried to explain this the person hung up the phone.

The other (3) Doctors and practices simply tried shifting weight off the area with new shoes, and shoe inserts which would work for a few weeks, and then after the ulcer opening again they would just try skin grafts, or other inserts. I was referred because of the last open ulcer to Family Foot and Ankle Specialists for wound care, and Dr Riera was able to see the bone protrusion that others had missed/overlooked as the cause. After an out patient one day operation, the speed of my healing was so rapid compared with my history of other attempts proved to me that it was obviously the cause of my troubles. I cannot stress strongly enough that if you are not getting the results you expect from your doctor(s) to get a second opinion from Family Foot and Ankle Specialists.

Even more concerning is his creepiness. Although the nurse was very adamant that I could not receive a full-body check, Dr. Patrignelli decided to ONLY check my back and breasts under my garments. These areas were not areas I stressed as concern. I asked him specifically to look at my thigh, he removed the mole, but didn't even inspect the rest of my leg. He also inappropriately asked if I had a boyfriend and used dating apps.

She did not give me a reason other than reiterating this policy. I asked her why no one had previously asked me my reason for the visit on the phone so that I could have been told earlier about this policy, but she had no answer. Feeling uncomfortable, I chose to leave. She asked, "You don't even want a face and back check?" No, thank you. I will seek out a practice where I feel more comfortable.
