Later I cold cocked him innocently.( Dr P said "raise your hand if it hurts." After starting to drill immediately after giving me the shot. I kept raising it. He kept drilling. Teeth are a high priority and I expect a dental office to appreciate patients with this mindset and not act nonchalant about canceling a patients appointment. I have set day and times that I'm available due to my own work schedule and this office wouldn't be able to accommodate them until 6 months from now?!?! This indicates an office management issue that shouldn't be put upon the patient. I already took my business elsewhere when they cancelled my hygiene appointment in January and said they couldn't get me in until July if I required a later afternoon appointment. The rest of my family will be discontinuing service as well after they cancelled my husband s appointment and couldn't accommodate his schedule until summer.

During my initial consultation I asked the doctor how long everything would take? I asked maybe 2 hours? I was just curious . He replied "Oh no, probably 45 minutes". Well I walked in the office at 9:25 am for a 9:30am appointment. I waited about 10 minutes until the dental assistant came and got me . After numbing my mouth and waiting maybe 5 or so minutes , the procedure began , It involved a tooth extraction , installing implant post , a little suturing on my gum , going to another room for an xray, going back to the surgical room for post-op. instructions and I was walking out to my car at 10:30 am. I was very impressed with the entire staff and would highly recommend them to anyone.

On the day of my surgery I asked if I could pay half of the bill and the rest the following month. They accepted it. The following month I was still in the bind financially and asked if I could pay $50 and they accepted. After a month of looking for a job, I finally found a job and this job I get paid monthly and since I started on September, my first paycheck will be at the end of October. I called today which was September 17th and explained my situation and told them if I can pay my bill off at the end of October. They refused told me that I have until the end of September and that I can only pay $83 which is 3/4 of what I owe. Told them that I would at least pay half and the rest following month. They refused and told me I have until the end of the month. I was willing to work with them and offer my set amount, but they didn't want to meet me half way. I explained to them that I'm financially struggling and I only have a little over $300 left to last a month and a half and I need to stretch it. They still refused. They don't care about my financial situation. I understand they want their money and it's not like I'm not going to pay it. I will pay it, it will take time. I have another dentist that I owe money to and I called them up and explain to them my situation, and they are willing to work with me. But these people don't want to work with me while the other dentist does. If they don't want to work with me, I refuse to pay and they can put me in collections I don't care. If they don't care about my financial situation, then I don't care about them. If I ever get a referral to have them work on my teeth I will refuse because I do not want their service if they're not willing to work with their customers. If you want your teeth done, don't go to them because they will not work with you even if you're financially struggling.

They said due to the lining they couldn't get them to meet appropriately. They said they tried scraping at them and couldn't get the lining off. They recommended Tenino denture clinic. So on the way there my dad was able to scrape the lining off with no effort. We went into the Tenino denture place and they were able to repair them with no problem. Don't go to this place.

Stay away, unless you want unnecessary dental procedures done. I visited this office twice, six…read moremonths apart, and the first visit was fine, although the front desk staff always acts put out when checking patients in or out, as if it's a huge inconvenience that they have to put down their phones or interrupt their conversation to do their jobs. I've never had a filling or a cavity in my life, but when Dr. Wildhaber examined my teeth on the second visit, she said that one of my fillings had fallen out (from the center of a molar, allegedly) and she could get "way up in there" with her tool. I told her that wasn't possible since I'd never had a filling. She backpedaled and said "oh well maybe it was sealant that fell out." Fine, that's possible, I did have sealant put in there many years ago. However, I found it hard to believe that she didn't notice this at our previous visit, and no other dentist had even flagged the area previously to keep an eye on it. She wanted me to schedule a filling on the spot, which I did but pushed it out a few weeks so I'd have time to consider. I was nervous to have them perform a filling because my boyfriend was in the midst of a terrible experience with this office at the same time. He visited Dr. Wildhaber after not having dental insurance for a couple of years, and she decided that he needed to have some previously done fillings relaced. She replaced three fillings in one quadrant of his mouth, and based on the x-rays, told him that he had extra-large sinuses and therefore would not be able to get root canals, so he should be extra diligent with his teeth. Fast forward a week, and the pain from the filling replacements hadn't subsided. There was also now a huge gap in between two of his molars that wasn't there before, in which food kept getting caught painfully. After a few weeks, he called them up and they said to come back in and they'll fix the gap and adjust his bite to try to get rid of the pain. At that visit, they did fix the gap, but decided to perform yet another filling replacement, seemingly at random. They adjusted his bite, but after a few more days it became clear that that hadn't fixed the problem. He went back in AGAIN, at which point they said he'll probably need a root canal to fix the problem. No mention of the fact that they previously told him he couldn't even have root canals. They then never sent over the referral even after he followed up. So basically, my boyfriend went from not being in pain and having no noticeable issues with his teeth, to constant pain in the quadrant of his mouth that she worked on. So, with everything that he'd been through, I decided to get a second opinion before letting her touch my teeth. I went to a very-well-reviewed office in Olympia, explained the whole situation, and after x-rays and a thorough examination, that dentist told me that I didn't have a cavity at all. He was actually outraged that Dr. Wildhaber would recommend a filling. My boyfriend then visited this new dentist as well, and they told him that he likely doesn't need a root canal and they have several things they want to try to alleviate his pain before taking that kind of invasive action. Needless to say, we cancelled all future appointments at Olympic Dental & Denture.

The staff treats you like family.. the office is immaculately clean.I have not seen a dentist regularly for years but I will be from now on.. they explain step by step what's going on.. I actually had such a bad molar that I was positive they would just have to pull it.. but he literally resurrected this sad tooth from the dead.. I agreed to try a new procedure called Bioclear... I think he is the only dentist offering it in the area .. he is also a teacher of the procedure for other dentists who want to learn .. He is very skilled at it even though it's new.. I was ready to sign on the dotted line that very minute he was done with this sad sad excuse for a tooth ... cause he gave it life again.. there wasn't much to work with either.... I want the bio clear procedure on all my bad teeth .. I felt no pain either.., when I get a tooth pulled .. which I have done with a few others.. man that's some pain.. but this had a few uncomfortable moments.. but no real pain like I have felt before at other dentists. ..yes my mouth has been sore for a few days.. and my gums and jaw are sore.. it is a few hour procedure but we'll worth it...and I can't wait to get back in that chair for some more magic tooth fixes! Today, I had an (EEEEK) root canal, performed by Dr Devin and staff. I'd never had this particular…read moretype of adventure before, so only knew the horror stories I'd heard about pain, pain, and more pain. THOSE OLD STORIES ARE NO LONGER TRUE! After requesting a blanket & neck pillow, I went in, and got a numbing experience, literally. [Did I mention that I HATE needles] A topical numbing agent was dabbed on the injection area, and after a few minutes, a vibrator was turned on in my mouth while the injection was administered. I felt only the tiniest 'pick'. A few more minutes later, a second injection of numbing agent was put in. This time, I didn't even feel the pick. While I waited for that to do its job, I noticed that, on either side of the target tooth, my feeling was absolutely normal; it was as if that one small area no longer existed! Doc Devin and his assistant (I'm sorry, I didn't get her name) explained to me and showed images of my tooth and what to expect. My questions were fully answered. A different kind of image was needed, so I was taken to this amazing machine that talks as it get ready, "ready to capture". But the really FUN part is that while it's imaging, it has these funny burbbly, squirbbly sounds; I felt like I was inside a video game or on an old fashioned carousel! Very cool! To make a long story short, Doc Devin explained the new images and got to work. NEVER DID I FEEL ANY PAIN WHATSOEVER!!! Neither was my whole face numb, only that one area. After my root canal was finished, I went for coffee and did some shopping before heading home. After about 3 hours, even that limited area was no longer numb! So, if like me, you've heard horror stories about root canals, SEE DOC DEVIN! I can't give him and his staff enough credit. They are AMAZING!!!
