These people are not capable of dealing with the simplest problems with cell phones. They refused to serve me and have my phone repaired for the second time. The first phone lasted 4 months. The second phone lasted 3 hours. I went to the source and they fixed the problem, Pretty sad when you have to go to the competitor to have a problem fixed. I am not a tech person at all so always a little worried going into these stores. They treated me well & took the time to explain things in simple terms that I could understand. I can now use my phone and many of the features I was having trouble with. I recommend this store for anyone that isn't tech savvy. read more

Person working the desk is not trained in any way of what's going on at the location. I called and asked simple questions to this person thats hit her career high in being a clerk couldn't anwser. n she told me nobody that had any sense in their head that works at the location was not available. I told her how helpful she wasn't n this under graduate canceled my appointment. This place is absolutely garbage n hires trash in the flesh. Do not go here to ask for directions. read more

I returned my new Kenwood stereo to Andres for warranty repair in January 2021. The person that took the radio, I believe was the manager entered the information in the system. I was not given any documentation to show they had the radio. I checked regularly over the next months and kept hearing "it is not back yet." Eventually I went to the store and had quite a conversation with the manager. He wanted proof that I had brought the radio in. He said they had no record of it. I explained they did not give me anything to show they had the radio, all I had was correspondence with Kenwood. He said that may be good enough. I went back the next day and after he read the e-mails, he searched the computer system again and found that it had not been entered correctly. After another month and several visits, it was finally admitted they had lost the radio and were searching for the wrong model number. He agreed to get me a replacement radio. Today I went in to pick it up. I was given a radio, with no wiring, installation hardware or removal tools. I was told I only brought in the radio, I replied that was false, I brought the complete radio package in the box. I was eventually given the wiring harness but nothing else and told that was it. I was actually able to contact Andre directly, he asked me to call him. He got his Manger on the phone and directed him to give me what I needed. No apology or acknowledgement of wrongdoing. I was recently shopping for a new audio system for my tv And went into the andres audio electronics on Springfield. I asked about a low price speaker in their ad and was advised by the salesmen that there might be one over there, as he pointed. He said he needed to bring a tv out front for a customer and he'd be right back. Fine, we went to look where he pointed but couldn't find it. We notice the salesmen coming back in and then go to the counter and begin helping another customer. After that customer left we were still standing there, and never being approached by anyone else, we waited. The salesmen then just stood behind the counter not helping anyone. We asked about a low price speaker so maybe he wasn't interested in a small sale. Too bad for Andres as we almost never buy the cheap stuff but we do like to at least explore lower cost options. Did the same thing at hotubs and ended up spending 10k after looking at the 5k model. We will never buy ANYTHING again at Andres Audio Electronics in Kelowna BC. I spoke with Dave in November while retailers everywhere were doing "Black Friday sales", and with his sales pitch of staying local, the great service, they provide, etc., we purchased a car starter for a 2019 Mazda. Turns out they don't have the technology for this- which they didn't tell us, until today, when we brought the vehicle in. This was particularly disappointing, as it was a Christmas/birthday gift, and we chose Andres over other stores, when we could have gotten a reasonable price other places. Dave's solution to the sudden lack of birthday/christmas gift for my son? "I will refund the money, nothing else. You're lucky- we could choose to give you an in-store credit instead." "Go somewhere else, it'll be expensive and crap" This, despite the fact that THEY LITERALLY CANNOT DO THE SERVICE they initially promised. He continued to be belligerent, rude, and as he said, "hey, I RUN all 17 stores!" A $10 gift card would have gone a long way in restoring goodwill; but hey, he's willing to refund the money for a service they should not have committed to, I should be grateful??? They won't see my business again. read more

I think they have great products and knowledgable sales staff. However, their radio commercial is excessively annoying. AUOOON-re's (HONK) . I switch the station when I hear it start. THIS REVEIW IS FOR ANDRES ELECTRONIC EXPERTS: After searching for a suitable TV for our living room,me and my dad went around town for a 65" TV that is cheap. Andre's offered the best price. We have never bought from Andre's and we decided to give it a shot. After deciding what TV we wanted we were lucky enough for the one on demo to be the last one there. It took 45mins to get it wrapped and paper work done. It was uncoordinated and slow. We had other things to do and it was very slow. They loaded the thing into our car and we drove off. When we had it all set up they kept the store demo on! It took a long time of googling and help from shaw experts to turn the damn thing off. (They gave no instructions how to turn it off) even after that one of the remotes for the smart hub had its battery's leaking acid everywhere! ALL IN ALL; it is cheap but the work force is not good and the products are leaking acid. read more

If you like cheap service, poor installation, and over charged prices. Well you're in luck because Andres audio "experts" are for you. I took my car there to hopefully get the stereo fixed. They glued 1 wire into the door panel and called it "fixed". I drove away and within literally 1 minute it went out. I took it back to get my money back and they refused. After much research I decided to buy a Yamaha AVR . Unfortunately the local Yamaha dealer is Andre. I go in and ask to hear the AVR. I'm told the various AVR;s are not hook up because THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME. I look at this wannabe and say WHAT are you kidding me? I can't listen too it . NOPE. so i tell em Different DAC 's sound different . especially to the train ear of a musician, I leave the store tell the manager you lost my sale. Hey that place might as well unplug all the TV too. they all look the same eh? I will be calling Yamaha Canada in the morning to inform them. read more

My daughter booked an appointment to have her subs and amp installed. The tech (who was a "friend" of her boss) was given all the information and quoted her a price. She left her phone number and all relevant information with him at that time. On the day of the appointment, she dropped off her car and was told to come back in 2 hrs. Upon her return was told that the person who was supposed to install the equipment was not working, had not taken her number and quoted her a price $200.00 less then what the price should have been!!! I know my daughter is 17, but to take advantage of someone like that is ridiculous. The equipment was not installed and and she wasted 2 hrs of her day for nothing. $400.00 just for installation is a RIP OFF! She was able to have it put in at another location for less then half of that, including all the necessary wiring. I will never go to Andres. Their prices are way above any other electronic stores in the okanagan. read more
