I called the office to see if they took my new insurance plan (I asked twice just to make sure) and they said they did, so I signed up to see Dr. Nass. After my phone call I decided to double check with my new insurance to make sure the receptionist was correct, as it turns out they did not accept my insurance. Problem Number 2 - I found a new ENT that took my insurance and meet with him. Everything worked out fine but my new ENT wanted to see some blood work that Dr. Nass had me take in the fall. Long story short after 2 weeks of trying to get my blood work sent to my new doctor, they never sent it. As far as Dr. Nass goes, he he literally the best of the best. If you do your homework you'll see that he has tons of awards and great reviews. I trust him 100%!

I got so lucky. He treated me well, his staff is super friendly, he is punctual (how many dr. offices you can say that about)!!!. He corrected my deviated septum. Surgery was at NYU Langone - great staff there too. After care was easy (which I didn't believe him at first). I hardly had any pain, took no pain meds, and with Neil Med treatment I am breathing so much better. I trust Dr. Nass and highly recommend him. He is a honest and genuinely nice person. He answers all your questions, and definitely has this down. Thank you Dr. Nass!!!

Dr. Liberatore is nice and knowledgeable but for me that doesn't cut it. When I first saw her she…read moretold me that I didn't have sinus infections and that my pain and irritation was most likely due to my diet WHICH SHE WAS RIGHT ABOUT .. but then that's where her office and staff took a wrong turn. I returned several times to get a appointment with Dr. Liberatore and her receptionist always had a excuse of where she was and didn't do many office visits anymore as she now does surgeries , therefor I was passed on to her ENT STAFF - meaning the nurse practitioners who totally misdiagnosed me for a year prescribing me all types of medications that my body got immune to many antibiotics ... why were the doctors notes never transferred over to her staff! Now where my review gets interesting is this was in 2015. I now in 2018 just got my body back - and can hear and am healthy ... be weary of the fact this is a doctor who may or may not come in to check up on her patients EVER again .. and they're greedy. Therefor I'm done and have returned to a walk in clinic for god sake and have had better experiences -

Right away, I liked the ENT doctor (of my ER visit, he commented, "At least they tried") and what he said made sense. While I was at the reception desk making my next appointment, the doctor passed by and, amazingly, I blurted out "I love you." All staff smiled and laughed. Patients in the waiting room did too; one proclaimed "Now that's a recommendation!" In fact, I needed surgery to clear one sinus of bacteria and fungus. And ever since I've valued the quality outpatient care and home care instructions given me by Dr. David R. Edelstein of Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.

Dr. Szubin even called me personally after I arrived home to check how I was doing and give me further instructions and answer any questions I had.

Revising my last review about "hidden charges". I got a call from Dr. Osterweil detailing the exact…read morecharges for that visit. It was misplaced anger on my part. The situation was that a 30 minute ordinary ENT office visit warranted a $200 bill because of insurance policies that are outdated. The blame should be put on insurance companies. I'm not saying that this situation could not be avoided. If anything, I could have asked about the procedures and their cost before permission was given to perform the procedures. (It would be nice if the doctor could give a disclaimer of the price before performing the procedure as well.) The lesson learned is to take your health in your own hands! The system is not as transparent as it should be and if you ever feel any concern or ambiguity, just ask. If you read my first review, Dr. Osterweil was absolutely fantastic. Even after this debacle (in my opinion), he and his biller explained all the charges to me and also sympathized with my displeasure. What can you do?
