Forces Surgery and Unnecessary Meds--Stay Away!…read more I visited Dr. Hardart in August 2020 when I suspected I needed surgery to remove my fibroids. Without even looking at MRIs she told me I'd needed surgery. This was immediately a red flag, because why was she discussing surgery in my first appointment especially because all she had was a report from my ultrasound--not even the images! She insisted to do a vaginal exam on me, so I agreed. I told her in my appointment that I usually only bleed for about 10-14 days, but it's extremely light after 7 days. She prescribed me a medication that is for people who bleed heavily, I never picked up the prescription. I bled from my vagina heavily for 18 days after this exam--this has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I did go to the ER and when I told the ER gynecologist what happened and the prescription Dr. Hardart prescribed, even the gynecologist thought Dr. Hardart sounded shady. I don't know what Dr. Hardart did during my exam to make me bleed that much and for so long, but I never went back to her.

This is for the administrative staff as their incompetence prevented me from seeing this doctor…read moretoday. I made an appointment 1 month ago and received confirmation through Zocdoc. Then yesterday I get 4 calls (no exaggeration) from office staff confirming my appointment, all unaware that each other had already done so. Today (1 hour before my appt) I get a call from another person stating they take my insurance, but it's now invalid since it switched to Cobra. Do they not know what Cobra is?? I reminded them it's a continuation of the same services/benefits and other drs I've seen had no issues. They insisted I do self-pay so I was forced to cancel my appointment. Complete ignorance! I guess I should've listened to the other reviewers that warned others of these issues :(

As a high-risk patient, I've seen firsthand how professional, thorough, and deeply dedicated she is. She truly listens and makes you feel cared for as a whole person, not just a patient. When her previous group wanted her to start delivering at a different hospital, she made the difficult decision to switch practices just so she could continue delivering at Greenwich Hospital -- a place she's committed to and where she's been from the beginning. That kind of loyalty and integrity says it all. She is everything I could hope for in a doctor.

No interest in my health. Teddeo actually hurt my health…read more Dr. Matilda Teddeo actually took actions to intentionally damage my cardiovascular system. After I forwarded a lipid (cholesterol) blood test requested by my primary doctor to Dr. Taddeo so she could adjust my statin prescription, she refused to increase the strength of my statin, nor reduce its strength based on the blood work unless I came into her Bronxville, NY office in person so she would receive her fee for my office visit. I had already provided her full fees for 3 prior office visits during the year 2025 with my most recent visit on Sept 2025. In October 2025 she received my lipid blood work but refused to discuss my lipid dose requirement with me by phone and then voided my lipid prescription and several months of prescription renewals from the Fleetwood Pharmacy. Her actions may have put my life in danger since I had to scramble to find an alternate doctor to provide me with my statin and for some time I had no statins to take. I am age 71 and the statin prescription helps me fight the following illnesses: high cholesterol, two leaky heart valves, one coronary heart artery partial blockage and partial blockages in both my carotid arteries. Do not trust this practice…read more After either maliciously or incompetently screwing up the insurance authorization for some routine outpatient plantar fasciitis treatment on their end, this practice attempted to pursue balance billing against my wife and I for over $3000 for around a total of 30 minutes of treatment spread out over several visits. We appealed to our insurance company, who sided with us, since Dr. Callahan's practice failed to secure authorization from them and also failed to inform us that the treatment they were performing was going to be out of pocket. Our insurance company informed the practice they were not to contact us regarding the bill again, and that my wife and I are not liable for the bill. They did so anyways recently, threatening to send the bill to collections, and our insurance company sided with us again. Based on what several other reviewers have said, making errors with insurance authorization and then going after patients to cover the cost of their own mistakes happens all too often at Dr. Callahan's office. This is immoral. It is also is against the contract they signed with my insurance provider, and we have filed the appropriate complaint with Emblemhealth. It may even be against New York state law. By the way - the treatment didn't work, and the reason insurance denied it was that there was insufficient evidence to back its use as a therapy for my wife's condition. Also they screwed up the insurance code and claimed that they were performing some tasks under anesthesia, which is incorrect. All services were performed without general or local anesthesia. Why would they make this error? Just don't go here. You've been warned. There are many providers in the area who don't conduct themselves in such an underhanded manner. You will never feel certain that Dr. Callahan's office won't botch their insurance authorization and cause you a massive headache. Whether they are doing this through some staggering level of incompetence or intentionally, so they can try to hold people over the balance billing barrel, is anyone's guess.

Didn't get the memo that doctors should have some bedside manner. He's way too cold and direct,…read moredidn't make me feel comfortable. Some of my experience: 1. Invited in the receptionist as I was having my exam, without mentioning or asking and she just stood there with her clipboard. Very uncomfortable. 2. Did not even perform a breast exam during my annual. I found this very strange as I've always had a quick breast exam each year. I feel that's one of the main reasons you even go to your annual appointment! 3. During the exam he kind of led me into saying I felt discomfort so he could run extra tests. While literally inside of me he asked "you feel discomfort, yes?" And I said uh yea I guess (because it was awkward so I was uncomfortable and of course there's a slight pressure). This made him tell me that something is probably wrong and I should come back for an ultrasound. This feels similar to other reviews I've seen 3. Told me they accepted my insurance (after I inquired several times and had them check my insurance card) and are in network but turns out their contract was terminated so now I need to pay out of pocket or hopefully get a claim accepted. 4. While there waiting, it was extremely crowded with no one wearing masks. I asked if I could wait outside and be called in because I was uncomfortable, the receptionist looked right at me with an aggravated stare and then completely ignored me and turned to talk to the woman next to me. 5. I actually went twice because first the wait time was 1 hr by the time I left (and I had an appointment).

WARNING TO EVERY WOMAN OUT THERE: DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR…read more I can't say anything bad about him when it comes to his demeanor because he's actually rather nice & pleasant, however, he has no idea what he's doing! Just as one of the other reviews wrote, Dr. Niznikiewicz will diagnose you with conditions you don't have! This is my experience: I just went in for a check-up. During the exam he said that he suspects that I have an ovarian cyst (mind you, I had absolutely no symptoms - totally healthy!). So, at this point I'm already pretty scared...THEN during my breast exam, he said he feels a lump in one of my breasts! At this point I almost started to cry - and I began feeling the breast myself to see if I could feel anything - but I didn't! So, I left the office with documents to get a BUNCH of tests done - one being a mammogram! Guess what? I'm under 40, I shouldn't even be getting a mammogram (which I found out from the radiologist who questioned me as to why I'm getting a mammogram at my age without a family history of breast cancer!). To conclude: THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH ME. No ovarian cyst. No breast lump. NOTHING. He will scare you into thinking you have something wrong and then send you to get an array of tests just so he gets more MONEY. I hate leaving a review like this, but I don't think anyone should have to go through such stress because of an incompetent doctor. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the care and treatment we received were disappointing and at times even dismissive. Determined to find the very best, we looked beyond Florida, and that is how we found Dr. Jason S. Pruzansky, MD, in New York City. From the first consultation through surgery and follow-up care, Dr. Pruzansky was extraordinary. He is incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough, always taking the time to explain every detail and answer all of our questions. His professionalism and expertise gave us the confidence and peace of mind we had been searching for. Yes, we fly to New York City for every appointment, but the quality of care and the trust we have in Dr. Pruzansky make it absolutely worth it, especially when it comes to your child's health. The entire team, from the front desk to the clinical staff, is warm, welcoming, and helpful. They make the process smooth and supportive. All in all, our experience has been perfect. I can recommend Dr. Jason S. Pruzansky and his team to anyone who wants the very best care!

I went for help with a trigger finger. I knew there was something wrong when the dr's assistant,…read morewho came to ask me some basic questions, suddenly left in a hurry when I told her I had xrays of my hand done by an orthopedist 3 days before and asked if I could have them sent to the office. The doctor came in, touched two fingers, and said I needed an xray. I asked him if I could call the orthopedist and have them sent over. He asked, "How do you think they will get them to me?" in a highly condescending tone. I said they'd probably email them. He insisted that would be low quality, and he'd need them on a CD. I said fine, I'd go get him the CD. He said he wouldn't be able to read them and insisted I get xrays in his office. I told him the other doctor had ruled out all the issues he wanted to see on the xray. When he learned I had spoken to the orthopedist's assistant (who was 100 times more thorough examining my hand and giving me a cortisone shot than he was), he got extremely condescending and implied that she wasn't qualified to rule out everything, and his mocking tone and laugh implied he thought that I was a fool to have let her give me a cortisone shot. (By the way, that shot worked fantastically well.) To add insult - he looked at the xrays he forced me to re-do on his iPad! I felt conned. $300 for duplicate xrays! And they were a complete repeat of what I had 3 days before. As expected, he confirmed everything I already knew from the orthopedist assistant, so I guess she is qualified after all. Then he diagnosed me with a hereditary condition! From an xray! I really wanted an MRI to see the tendons not the bones since, as I told him, the tendons were bothering me, and he said, "I can write you a script, but the diagnosis won't change!" in a tone that implied I was an idiot for requesting an MRI. He said I should come back in a month. I will never step foot in his office again. No doctor should treat a patient with such a lack of respect. Be warned!

Hands down the best doctor to deliver your child. She is number one in NY for vaginal breech…read morebabies, and might be number one in the US, not sure on that. Either way she is amazing. While our experience at Mt. Sinai West was so/so, our experience with Dr. Rodke was unforgettable. When we first met her, we both felt at ease, she gives off a loving mother/grandmother vibe which is exactly what we are looking for. She cares and spends the time to make sure the delivery is a success, and while some may not feel like waiting and push for a C-Section, doctor Rodke spends the time to make that vaginal birth a possibility. Our gorgeous son was born with the help of this woman and had no issues and was able to get him out vaginally, even after a full 8 hours of pushing with no success. Dr. Rodke is number one for a reason, and we totally get it. If we do have another, we hope she is available for the delivery.
