Dr. Lauren is incredibly knowledgeable in ways to achieve better health. She is interested in her patients getting the very most out of life. My mom got me a groupon for Angel Hands for a full body massage. The place is kind of tucked away…read moreand is not what I expected. Don't expect a spa-like establishment. There was no reception to greet you - you kind of have to figure out who to speak to to let them know you are there for a massage. Once you get past the entrance area, it gets nicer. I had my massage and when they said full body - they really mean full body. From the scalp, to the forehead, to the very tips of your toes. I must say that it was probably one of the nicest massages I've had. The one thing that I did not appreciate though is that, although I was expecting to be smothered in massage oil, it would have been nice to have them wipe it off. Other spas wipe off the oils off your skin after the massage with a warm towel so you are not covered in grease. I was so greasy from head to toe when I left the place. I literally rushed home and jumped in the shower and scrubbed myself silly because I was covered in grease. It was quite uncomfortable driving home in that (there was even a grease stain on my interior door where I had rested my elbows). So if you go here for a massage, make sure you are going straight home as you will be all greasy and gross from the massage oil.

In-person treatments with Mihael have always felt energetic for me. So when I recently experienced…read moredistance-shiatsu healing from him as an alternative to physical touch therapy, it felt like an extension of the work he has been doing with me for many years. I prepared the same way I always do for in-person sessions--centred my mind and body for receiving mode. I experienced subtle sensations and movement in my body during the session. My mind shifted quickly into a meditative state which I relate to as the space of co-creation. What I had sensed was affirmed back to me when Mihael shared his notes with me after the treatment. I was left with a deepened sense of clarity and alignment in my mind and body. Mihael's offering of distance-shiatsu healing highlights his innate abilities to connect and treat beyond physical touch.

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR DR. AMINI ONLY I was a patient of Dr…read more Amini's for several years, but was recently informed that I had been removed from his practice because I had not been seen in-person for over six years. I am 49, healthy, active, and had no ongoing medical issues that required regular appointments. During the COVID period especially, patients were encouraged to use walk-in clinics and telehealth for non-urgent issues, which I did. Those visits should have been forwarded to my family doctor's office as part of my medical record. When I recently called to book mid-life preventative checkups and bloodwork, I was told I was no longer a patient. I had never been notified that I was at risk of being removed. I was surprised and frustrated, and in that moment I did mention that I might leave a negative review. That was said out of shock, but it doesn't change the underlying issue: being healthy and not needing frequent appointments resulted in losing my family doctor. I understand family doctors are in high demand, but it's disappointing to learn that maintaining good health and not using unnecessary appointments can be grounds for dismissal, especially when approaching an age where preventative care becomes more important. Continuity of care matters, and that was not supported here.

I have to express my gratitude to the whole team of BeWell clinic, especially to Dr. Baradaran and…read moreDr. Amini who helped me to relief my excruciating pain in the lower back area. Their compassion and care for their patients is genuine. The new technics they use (K-Laser and TPI injections) are truly helping, but without doctors' patience, attention to detail and truly listening to my needs it would not work out. The whole team is amazing, including all medical staff working in the front. Great team work! I will recommend this place to all people I know. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Mine told me (just today, after months of struggling with this) to call instead if I had urgent questions or concerns (and, thank goodness, because with HRT things that aren't working need to be corrected ASAP), but reception is consistently rude -- I often feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I have basic needs or questions -- and they literally just hung up on me while I was still speaking. I'm finding a new provider.

However, a week before my scheduled appointment, I received a call and was charged for $50 for a missed appointment! I still have the email, and a voice message on my phone stating the original time that I had booked in advance two months ago. My partner was shocked too since he was there when I called the office to book the appointment originally and remembers it being scheduled. The appointment they "claimed I booked" was on a day I was scheduled to be away from Vancouver, so I would have never booked that time - their receptionist wrongly scheduled me for an appointment in their system and then charged me for their error. No where on their website does it state that you will be charged $50 for "missed appointments" i.e. scheduling errors by Integrative's staff. Terrible service and a disorganized reception that resulted in hidden fees for an error on their part. Stay away and go with an naturopath office that knows how to use a calendar.
