I probably…read moredelayed the surgery I needed by at least a year because the PA for one of these surgeons told me just by looking at an x-ray taken at their office that there wasn't anything to fix. I had my mri on disc with me but she refused to even look at it. She summarily dismissed me after waiting 4 HOURS TO BE SEEN and I never saw the surgeon just the PA. I am now seeing surgeons for adult scoliosis surgery. I guess my scoliosis curve didn't show up on her lousy x-ray. That's a 45 degree curve mind you! Talk about incompetence. I have never seen a PA without seeing the surgeon too. Now my curve is worse than when I went to the Advanced Spine Center. I guess their name really means we won't help you unless your spinal deformity is so advanced that you can barely walk. What a huge miss. How AI keeps generating this practice as a top option for adult scoliosis surgery must be a glitch of some sort. It can't be for real. And what kind of sense does it make to have your patients who are in excruciating pain wait 4 hours to SEE THE PA NOT EVEN THE SURGEON! I did ask a couple of times while I was waiting how much longer it would be and the really rude receptionist kept saying "it shouldn't be much longer". I guess I'm the idiot for believing her. I would have left but I had already invested so much time in waiting, I was sure if I left it would have been just that minute before they called my name. So I stayed. If you're being referred to this group I have to wonder who referred you and how much confidence you should have in that referring physician if they think these guys are really great. Trust me these guys pale by comparison to the truly competent surgeons out there. I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

At first I went through the pain medication route, which at the time the medical industry was handing out oxycodone like TicTac's. It seemed to work for a little while, but never got me back on my feet entirely. I'm cursed with the issue of not getting the benefit while still getting all the negative effects of the narcotic. A friend recommended Commons chiropractor center. Before I was injured, I wasn't a believer, I never thought it could help me. In fact, it took me almost 2 months of convincing actually walk into his office. I've been to two other chiropractors prior to that, and they were either too cautious or not strong enough to manipulate what they needed to because my work required a lot of heavy lifting and my muscles were tight . I have to say after the first visit, I noticed a dramatic difference. And it only got better after that. There must be 15 or 20 chiropractors between my home and commons chiropractor center. I tried a could have them until I followed my friend advice. Today I can confidently say I can live quite comfortably with minimal narcotics and I mean virtually nothing. He allowed me to live my life be there for my children, and now finally for my grandchild. Dr. Irwin has been a life changer experience for me. And if anyone knows me, they would bet that I would never say such a thing. But, he is simply the best. Address 3125 Route 10 E, Ste 1e, Denville, NJ 07834

I have had the need to come here on various occasions (lower back, foot problems) and every time I've been here I've had nothing but exceptional service. From the warm greeting of the entire front desk staff, to the kindness and assistance provided by all the Physical Therapy Aides, to the care and expertise of the Physical Therapists themselves. I especially want to acknowledge the gentile bed side manners of Lucinda Quesada (PT Aide). She always welcomes me with a warm smile and an even warmer goodbye. She is meticulous and takes her time to explain clearly the specific exercises that are required as part of my plan of care. I also want to acknowledge two of the therapists, Christopher Jones and Payam Zarrinpour., both are exceptional. They are patient, knowledgeable, and truly take the time to understand my needs and concerns. They have a wide depth and breath of knowledge in physiology and human anatomy. But more importantly, I sincerely appreciate their sense of humor. Not only do their treatments make me feel better but their personality brings out a healthy hearty laugh in me every time. Sure there are many other PT centers. Some much larger, better equipped, and providing a huge suite of services . I know because I have been to some of them too. But IMHO what makes ActiveCare stand out among the rest is their genuine desire and focus to heal you in an environment that is not clinical but rather very family like. Kudos to one and all and keep up the excellent work!

I've been working with Matt and Chris who are phenomenal, but everyone in the practice is friendly and knowledgeable. Matt and Chris took a lot of time to understand the extensive back story leading to the diagnosis. This is not a cookie-cutter rehab factory. The therapists have extensive knowledge and tailor their treatments to each client. I can't say enough about how wonderful this practice is.

There is plenty of parking and easy access to the building. Dr. Rosenzweig specializes in knee surgery. I saw Dr. Rosenzweig for a torn meniscus after being involved in a car accident as a passenger. I called and made an appointment and spoke with their auto claims department. This made it very easy when going through my insurance company and adjuster to get all the necessary paperwork done. I started out first by doing physical therapy. After weeks of no relief from pain I had an MRI. Dr. Rosenzweig is very through and took the time to explain everything that was wrong, and based on my MRI results decided I needed knee surgery. During my appointments I never felt like I was a number or rushed. Dr. Rosenzweig was very patient and gentle and for an orthopedic doctor was pretty much on time. I had my surgery and everything went as planned. I was given instructions and pain meds so I wouldn't suffer. My follow up was just as pleasant and I didn't feel the stitches come out. Dr. Rosenzweig explained and showed me photos of the step by step surgery he preformed on my knee. I will be starting physical therapy and then see him again afterwards.
