I have gone to Carroll PT twice now. I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder and my Orthopedist sent me there. The very first time I went, I got relief for one day, and the second I got relief for 2 days. The therapist, said, that as it was a pinched nerve, it would take a while, but thought that we were on the right track. I would highly recommend this practice. For almost three months, Carrol PT became part of my weekly routine. Dr. Streeter not only helped me with the knee issue I was having, but went above and beyond, with instructions for staying injury-free, cool exercise app, and a great sense of humor. The clinic is super clean, well equipped and offers plenty of parking. They are flexible with scheduling and convenient (with 5:30 am appointments .) I never had to wait. Even on my later appointments, no matter how busy Dr. Streeter was, he would always greet me right away and get me going. Dr. Carrol and Dr. Streeter are very professional and super friendly. The level of care received here is substantially more personalized and thorough than what I received at a nearby well known health system's rehab outfit. Where the big guys work on 2 or 3 patients at a time, Carroll rehab works on one patient at a time. And for those with high deductible health plans, it's interesting to note that your payment will be less than half of what the big guy gets. Better care for less than half the price. Gosh where to begin. Athlete all my life (in my 50's) gladly never hurt myself "badly" until this past summer. Tore my meniscus in a few spots, tried to muscle thru it, but off to the doc's I go. First step always is PT (working in medical all my life, I was all to aware of the "insurance dance" patients have to do.) I saw Mary...twice a week~for 4 weeks...May I just say, that I'm back to playing my sport after PT!!!!! Although scared as all get out now that I finished PT, (that I will re~injure myself). If you put in the time to heal, and get the right direction like I did HERE, theres a very good chance you'll be "back in the game" without any other medical steps. A shout out for Toni Menge at Carroll PT - she's the best!! I had constant numbness/tingling radiating down my right arm which was caused by nerves in my neck - I'm told it's due to posture issues from sitting at the computer. Toni did a full evaluation and was able to help relieve the numbness/tingling by clearing the inflammation built up along the nerve path via a technique called fascial counter strain. Tingling and numbness is completely eliminated. Very happy with Toni M and her technique. Went to other PT's and didn't help at all. read more

Dan is the man!! My Husband has been suffering for over 3 wks. Everyone was calling it vertigo . Dan diagnosed what 2 primar docs and an ENT didn't. Not vertigo but viral and a neck strain. Did some stretching heat and he started feeling better already. Dan is Confident, knowledgeable, funny, carrying and connected. JointCare PT is top-notch for care, understanding and quick progress. I was going to another PT for knee issues and they only got worse. I got a referral to Dan at JointCare and his insights reduced and then eliminated my pain in only a few visits. He views the body through a different lens. Dan Carroll has restored my faith in physical therapy! Over the years I have had less than positive experiences with other therapists and often left with new injuries. Due to a recent shoulder injury, I reluctantly decided to try physical therapy again and my doctor recommended Dan Carroll at Carroll Physical Therapy. My therapy started with a consult and after only 9 sessions, the range of motion I now have in my shoulder is much improved from when I started and the pain has been significantly reduced. The quality of care I received was so superior to any other facility. Dan does not treat each person the same way; every patient is treated individually. Dan is open to suggestions and if something is not working, he listens and hears your concerns. His care is personalized and he provides treatment depending on the patient's needs. While other facilities will try to get you in as often as possible and do everything they offer, Carroll PT will personalize your care and not waste time doing things that may not work for you. Carroll PT is NOT a chain so the care you are given is superior because the owner is at the facility. In addition to therapy for my injury, Dan gave me exercises to do to strengthen my shoulder and made sure I was doing them properly. I will continue to do these at home to (hopefully!) prevent being re-injured. Dan was also helpful in sharing information about other injuries I have had and offered useful advice which was so appreciated. Also, all the support staff members at Carroll Physical Therapy are friendly, professional and helpful. Dan Carroll at Carroll PT is fantastic and has supported me through pre-hab and rehab for an extensive reconstructive hip surgery as well as rehab after cervical spine fusion surgery. I recommend him to any friends or family that I hear who need PT for any reason. Dan thoroughly discussed my issues and the surgeries and customized exercises to strengthen areas of weakness to reduce pain and spasms and increase mobility. The important thing to note is he never pushed me through pain or to do anything I wasn't ready for at different stages of recovery. He was cautious about increasing exercises and I think that was key to NOT having setbacks. Aside from strengthening, he also provided the electro-stim and heat or cold therapy and guided my hip through manual gentle range of motion or resistance moves that could be tolerated. The overall feel here is very friendly, casual, and personal and I like that I was able to have the same consistent physical therapist all the way through my recoveries. They also handled all insurance claim processing and were in-network too so that was a plus! I highly recommend! read more
