The office manager Rachel is great, she is always able to answer my questions about billing and insurance. Dr. Agesen is a true professional at what he does and helped me figure out my shoulder issue with a procedure called "prp". I am able to play all the pickle ball, tennis, and golf that I could ask for and overall live a better life because of New Jersey Regenerative Institute!!

From the start, Justin was so polite and welcoming when scheduling my appointment -- something you don't see often these days. Taylor went above and beyond, staying on the phone with me to make sure my MRI was all set up. And Maritza always greets me with a warm smile at the front desk and sends me off with a cheerful "Have a wonderful day!" I'm being treated for osteoarthritis in my ankle and foot, and I'm currently undergoing focused shockwave therapy -- four sessions in total. After just two treatments, I've already noticed amazing results: I felt immediate pain relief, and my mobility has improved more than I could have hoped. This entire team truly deserves not just five stars, but ten! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for effective, compassionate care. --Diane

No surprise that she gets a lot of the walk-ins because you wouldn't willfully make an appointment with her. Big holes in her appointment calendar. She gave me a physical, told me I had a serious condition, then picked up her phone for a 5 minute personal chat. She ushered me out of the door without ever again mentioning my condition, the seriousness, or recommending a course of action, which is nearly always surgical intervention. Unacceptable. Banu will never get near me again. The rest of the medical staff has been wonderful.

This review is not about the quality of care I received by the medical staff. Rather, it is about…read morethe Consensus Health corporate culture which, in my opinion, focuses on corporate profits. First, here is what I learned: Consensus Health is a New Jersey medical organization with dozens of 'practices' across New Jersey. Two such practices in the Denville/Rockaway area are the 'Skylands Medical groups'. The Skyland Medical Group I sought care from operates as the 'Denville Associates of Internal Medicine.' My experience with this Consensus Health organization focused on gross over-billing for an office visit. This resulted in a time-consuming appeals process, an admission by the organization of a billing mistake, and a partial reduction in the revised bill I received, a new bill which partially addressed their billing mistake. This failure to take adequate responsibility for their mistake and to (in my firm opinion) focus on corporate profit reminded me of the unfair, unethical practices of United Health Care, the largest Health Insurance provider in the U. S. To maximize profit for the a simple office visit I requested, the bill was modified to include a service that was not requested by me and (in my opinion) not provided and not covered by either my Medicare or Anthem Blue Cross insurance. Rather than spend effort on another time-consuming appeals process, I paid the bill before it was sent to their 'collections department'. NOTE: Sometimes a business responds to a critical review by providing a one-sided response with no opportunity for the reviewer to respond. If I feel I'm further mistreated I'll make the effort to respond in more detail, with copies of documents, a voice mail message left on my phone, and more details.
