You need these files tonight. These files were never meant to be printed. The resolution could be terrible; all the images are screenshots. Oh, and those files? They're 13" x 46". As in... not exactly a standard print size. A frantic Google search let me to My Bakersfield Printer. A phone call led me to Kyle, and I laid out my case: "Kyle. I have three 13" x 46" pdfs. They might look terrible in print because they were only meant to be viewed on a screen. I need them printed and slapped on some foam core in the next hour for a client who will really, really appreciate them. And they might look terrible. I mean really, really terrible, because - screenshots. Are you willing to take this journey with me?" Kyle not only took the journey; he led the journey. The man dropped everything, Photoshopped my pdfs into printable sizes, and foam-cored them into a splendid deliverable... and then offered to deliver them personally to my client. The man earned his sainthood. The client was overjoyed with the result, and everyone left a winner. I've never been to Bakersfield, and chances are I won't find myself there anytime soon. But if I did need to go to Bakersfield, and if I needed something while I was there, I'd call Kyle for pointers.
