The manager Darryl never returned any of my phone calls or my emails. They did not show up for their appointment when they said they would. When I called and spoke with somebody in the office they said they can't guarantee when they will come out but I'm "on their list" and they are "slammed with customers". When they finally came out , they brought the wrong ladder, forgot the ladder pad and cut the gasket for the skimmer upon installation. After a few more days, I finally got a hold of the manager and notified him of this and he would not take any responsibility and said at least I got my liner and he hung up the phone. This is the worst company for pools.

Was seeking pool liner and told a price. 10 days and many calls back and forth to two of their stores, talking to several salesman being told different prices and product locations, being told I would be called back, I finally got someone who seemed to know the price which was $50 more than price quoted at first. I reluctantly agreed and put it on hold to pick up the next day. We get there they couldnt find the liner at first (it was supposed to be set aside with my name on it) and then was told the price had now gone up another $80. When we told him that was not the price we were quoted yesterday he said he didn't believe it was true! I was basically called a liar! I really think they need to train their staff better or man the helm with someone who has authority to quote a price and keep a promise! I had heard bad things throughout the years about this place but had not really experienced any real problems with them. I wont do business with people who dont have integrity! I will never walk into their stores again nor will I refer them to ANYONE!

We spoke with Todd first and he was honest and knowledgeable throughout our selection process. He was never pushy, and we appreciated his honesty about which features would be good choices for us and which we could do without. Our project started in late fall and the crew worked incredibly hard to get the bulk of the work done before the winter. Even though the crew was rushing to beat the weather, we were amazed at their precision and the attention to detail they showed. Tom, the owner of the company, was onsite the whole time working hard and attending to many details like making sure that that the pool was completely level! Erich has exceeded our expectations regarding the opening of the pool, training us to take care of the pool, and making sure that our first pool season is problem free. We opted to use the landscape company that Signature recommended, Countywide Landscape, and we are very glad that we chose a landscape company that works so well with Signature. We highly recommend Signature Pools for a company with integrity and high standards of excellence. By the way, we chose the Ultimate 40 pool and absolutely love it!

We contacted Bureau County Pool Builder's this spring to take down a pool in our neighbor's yard and install it in our yard. When I initially contacted them, they created a work order, gave me a quote and secured our name on the list, even informing me they had a crew that would be down in our area and they would put our name on the list so the job could be completed while they were down here, taking about 3 days to complete. We then ordered a new pool liner, gaskets, etc. On May 25th, I received a call from them about the work order and everything was finalized. She told me the payment would be due on the first day they arrive on the job. I called back in June asking for a more specific time frame so we could make plans accordingly as to when they'd be down here. She told me our job was scheduled for after the 4th of July but prior to the first week of August. I called them this morning to see if they had any more specific dates and was informed they can no longer do the job because they have so many new pool contracts from the Great Escape and our work order was on the administration desk to be called today and informed of this. I was flabbergasted to say the least. They told me the contractor made this decision last night. I told them this was very unfortunate that our neighbors have been waiting on this as well as us who purchased everything needed and it's now almost the end of summer and it's highly unlikely another company would be able to complete this job this summer. Nothing was done on their end to remedy this situation and I was very unsatisfied with their customer service. Lisa, the person I spoke with was very unprofessional and offered no help or solutions, only telling me to Google other options. We've only heard great things about this company, but after this personal experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. Bureau County Pool Builders, Inc.
