The push start button didn't work correctly, taking 4 presses to start or turn off the car. The rear defroster was in inoperable, the engine squeeled when at an idle. The roof was cracked in 5 places! Oh and did I mention that didn't even bother to clean the car or take off the price stickers on the windshield before sending it to me. I highly doubt it ever went through service like they claim, most of the issues would have been seen unless they are just as shady as the sales team. UPDATE 7/30/26: I had purchased a used car 66k miles great condition a Vw for around 13k. Thought I received an awesome deal. LESS THAN 24 HOURS the car started going into "limp mode" and several light came on while driving on the highway. The next day I take it back and they said they'd look at it. Took them a week to just get the lights back on to get the code and they said it was a bad ABS module. It was replaced reprogrammed and I go on my merry way. A COUPLE DAYS later the car starts shaking. It can't be the tires because they are BRAND SPANKIN' new. They diagnose it say the tires are hard and they need soft tires I can buy but they balance the tires and say well it's just gonna shake. Couple days later the car goes into "limp mode" AGAIN WITH THE SAME LIGHTS so I go straight over there and they take it. Now they say that module was defective but it would cost $5000 to fix it but it wouldn't be a guarantee that it would be completely fixed. I'm of the part was defective then why isn't it another easy fix. Honestly the combination of problems means Engine, computer, even BallJoint problems and I have a very good suspicion I was being lied to. The whole time from the very first problem it was a COMPLETE struggle to get a hold of any update on the car because no one else but one manager and one service person knew what was going on. I had to STRUGGLE to get the updates I needed even though I was told I would be updated! I kept being passed to everyone and their mother to talk to someone and no one knew. Meanwhile the ONLY one helping me try to get info or find info for me was the sales person Kris K. I had to physically show up to the dealership to get any answers and told repeatedly no matter what I would be "taken care of" I would receive an update and call first thing in the morning. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I AGAIN had to call repeatedly over the afternoon so I could finally talk to the manager Joe. Again I was told I'd be taken care of! But he can't just focus on me he has to take care of other customers and I should only need to talk to Kris and he should be doing everything(how can a sales person find anything out about a service thing he has no authority to even find anything why would it be his job to do a managers duty and communicate everything between different departments) He proceeds to tell me over and over again he can't speak for anyone else why I didn't receive the updates on the car. HE'S THE MANAGER! All he did was talk circles and put down his sale person. So I had to go the dealer again to see what my options are. GUESS WHAT!? He made the sales person go through other cars with me WITHOUT telling me what kind of deal they can offer or anything like that. He repeatedly tried to push me into a Ford escape Titanium and sure it was a great year and good miles but I would have to pay more money for a car that states on the car fax it had an OPEN RECALL. While I sat there CRYING FROM FRUSTRATION he doesn't even acknowledge me. After that he didn't check up once not once to see what deal or anything about "taking care of me" because again he told me he has to take care of other customers. I was there for hours THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS. I AM SO UPSET AND NOT "TAKEN CARE OF." THEY SOLD ME A BAD CAR AND HAVE BEEN A STRUGGLE TO DEAL WITH. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I hope to receive a call from the GM John to see what can be done with the situation but I have no hope and low low low expectations he will call me. Nothing is perfect and as a business owner myself, I understand some minor hiccups in the transaction process. For starters, my vehicle was not cleaned at delivery granted it was 26° outside, which I totally understand! The bait and switch tactics used at financing was nothing abnormal, however, I was a bit surprised the $1800 that was tacked on to the advertised price for what the Salesman informed me as " the fee pay to Toyota to make the vehicle certified", I consider it extra money for the dealership; however, we were able to negotiate an agreement. Lastly, being that I purchased a certified vehicle there should've been a second key. I had to make a second trip out to the dealership several days later to have them cut it. This was a slight inconvenience, but the service department was very kind and friendly got me in and out within 10 minutes! I wouldn't hesitate referring to someone to the dealership, but I would be extra vigilant on not paying dealership markups as many dealers in the area are struggling to sell inventory.

I bought a new Corolla from Toyota of Boerne in 2014 and received such great service that I continued driving from San Antonio just to have my vehicle maintained there. Based on that experience, I stayed with Toyota when I purchased a 2018 Camry. That turned out to be a costly mistake. In 2023, Toyota of Boerne recommended a transmission fluid service. Shortly after that, my transmission failed at just 75,000 miles. I had it replaced (with a used transmission due to cost), and now, less than two years later, it has failed again. When my car recently started having issues, I brought it back to Toyota of Boerne and was told the oil pan needed replacement. What should have been a routine repair turned into a 30 day ordeal. I was charged over $1,500, and throughout that time there was poor communication, conflicting information, and little sense of urgency. I often received different answers depending on who I spoke with. After nearly a month without my car, I was then told--only after the oil pan repair--that the transmission had failed again and would cost $9,000 to replace. This diagnosis came after I had already spent significant time and money, not before. After speaking with independent mechanics, I learned that 2018 Camrys are widely known to have transmission issues. Despite this, Toyota's corporate office refused to offer any goodwill assistance. Now I'm stuck paying out of pocket for a rental car, struggling to find a replacement transmission due to widespread failures, and dealing with the financial fallout of repeated major repairs on a relatively low-mileage vehicle. What's most frustrating is this: I trusted Toyota. I trusted their service recommendations, and I trusted a brand known for reliability. That trust has been completely broken. I was planning to purchase a truck in the near future. After this experience, I will not be buying from this dealership--and very likely not from Toyota again.

We picked this place due to the reviews that we found online, their apparent expertise on repairing European cars, and how helpful they were on the phone. We needed to have an oil change and radiator flush, several other smaller things done, as well as asked them to check the car and let us know if they saw anything else major that needed to be done while they were doing the above. At the time we dropped the car I wanted to know and asked specifically for cost to have all the above done and we were told they could not tell us at that time, but would call us with an estimate for approval before anything was done. We were not asked to sign anything agreeing to the cost of the work or estimate. Well when we got an estimate for $2400 which was markedly inflated from everywhere else that we called around to for the same work. We told them we did not want to do the work done and wanted to hold off. When we showed up to get our car Art told us that it would be $140 for the cost of an estimate, being we were not having the work done, and that they would not release our keys otherwise. I feel that this shop is either poor at communication or unscrupulous. They should have disclosed a diagnostic fee and their hourly rate at the time the car was dropped off, being they were specifically asked for the costs up front.
