I used to be a big fan of FOI but of late, Ive changed my opinion…read more I tore the lateral meniscus of my rt. knee in October 2025. It took me from October 2025 to December to wait for an apt at FOI Sun City Center. Lucky for me, I have a connection there and with my connections help, I got a sooner apt . I was examine by Dr Infante and was told to get an MRI which I did within 2 days of the appointment.. Once the MRI was done, it took Dr Infante's office more than 2 weeks to contact me with the results from the MRI & instructions from the doctor. I was instructed to schedule physical therapy and return for a steroid injection. I was scheduled to see Dr Infante the Tuesday before Christmas for the injection. Unfortunately, I had a last minute work appointment that day and had to cancel. I know I should have called for another appointment but because my pain was much less and surgical intervention wasn't needed I decided to to wait. As a retired RN with many years of Case Management and office operations experience, I felt as though no one even thought to follow up with me especially since I was referred by a fellow who knew Dr. Infante personally. Where is the professionalism in health care these day. From previous experiences, I would have called my patient to follow up that her plan of care was initiated & stayed on top of my patient to make sure her therapy was scheduled and the injection apt re-scheduled. I will never refer anyone to Dr Infante. PS Ive had experiences with other FOI providers: Dr Bernasek, Dr Hess, Dr Sanders, Dr. Gasser and Dr. Frankel and think very highly of them all. However, FOI has changed management and the surgeons I stated above were from the original FOI specialists. Those days of exceptional care are long gone.. Patricia Carmel RN

It's annoying when you can only be seen for 1 body part at a time but at least I got in after having to wait a weak to ins snafus and other providers not doing right. But anyhow, I got there right at appt time. The front desk staff genuinely sweet and happy as usual. Lots of smiles here. When listening to their dialogue between eachother, you can tell this office is a well oiled , happy machine. I did not feel any tense vibes or anyhting off from anyone. over that Dr. Becker is sitting out in their communal desk work area in the back working on his computer with staff all around. It's not a black tower experience like most offices. I was brought back after a few minutes of waiting. I was seen by many different staff memebers all doing specific tasks, like reporting my issue, taking vitals, x-rays, more questions and probing to figure this out, then finally the dr after I saw his lovely PA Jessica and about 4 other, smiling and kind staff. I apologize I try to remember names, but they often escape me because the pain was so bad. I was happy I did get to see Dr.Becker, I was not expecting that, I had seen him sitting right outside the exam room door and thought he was another PA or something. He came in, greeted me sat down and away we went with questions. He did listen, he pulled up some diagrams on his phone to help me innerstand the issue because hip pain is new to me. I would at times interrupt him to insert, not because I was rude but because my memory of important details can be fleeting and random, so for clarity with my case I try to share what I can before I forget it. He was very gracious about that. He has a good bedside manner and no vibe of arrogance was coming off him. I felt heard by all of his staff. And empathy, as well, because this visit I was in a borrowed wheelchair from car to ofc back to car. The ofc is clean, decently appointed, nice chairs, plenty of room and a tv playing interviews from various drs in the practice. No beige walls, but oft muted pastels of blue and peach. I was there 2 hours. Felt hear, cared for and ready for the next steps. We were helped thru the heavy doors by a lovely member of the front desk staff as well. So thank you from a patient who has been severely traumatized needlessly in the past by other drs ofcs, ers and hospitals to the point i just gave up trying to get help for years. This 2nd visit was great as well as the first. I appreciate you all!

I really liked my doctor- although I only got to see him 1x before my full knee replacement…read more But The surgery center...... they scheduled my knee replacement at 3:30 and yet the office closed at 5. The physical therapist tried rushing my recovery so they could get me out of their office. I told her I will have a full recovery but she can't rush it. She didn't care- just to prove a point I walked around the outpatient Facility... At the end of the day my procedure was at 3:30 and they forced me out of the hospital and I was home and in my own bed by 6:30.... (remember I had a full knee replacement) They gave me 0 time to recover even with seeing how much pain I was and still am currently in. I must also say- the nurses were amazing- but I do have an issue with their physical therapist girl in the surgery center- to her I genuinely am sorry you had to stay and work late.

He asked How did I manage to rupture a bicep tendon like he said it's not like you're into sports like a baseball pitcher or weight lifter That's more likely when you would see that type of injury Rotator cuff's are common but he somehow he changed my mood maybe I felt a I was in the hands of another Awesome Dr. With a great sense of Humor can't explain but I was ok He said let's go and look and see these injuries as you can't go more than a certain amount of days or there's a chance the Dr. Cannot fix it So he scheduled for surgery ASAP. I had surgery done. He explained to me that there was a little bit left and they put a button in and I had read up on that Drs, use buttons for a much stronger hold Drs. put that in for athletes or weightlifter's but he put it in me because I had very little tendon left. Can't say enough about him. I recovered very quickly. I am having issues with my elbow. I need to see him when I fell,if my elbow is in a certain position for more than 10 minutes I literally have to lift my arm I made a full recovery from his Surgery Now need him to tell me hopefully my Elbow is just a sprain I did hit the pavement hard But I will only go to Florida Orthopedic 's in Brandon on Lakewood Dr. I can only imagine the look on his face when he sees me walk in he has such a good personality he's so upbeat I've been treated by two incredible surgeons at Florida Orthopedics, and Brandon. I could not possibly go any place else and feel as comfortable as they make me feel even though the news may not be what I wanted to be they have a way in this goes for Dr. Loewy my foot Dr that's how I heard about Dr.Loewy neither Dr. let me down they gave me hope, and they gave me some confidence of my As I'm sure they give you every patient 100% percent I am Thankful to Both Drs. I have never been in such a huge facility with a system and everything you need to live your life again That is Team work from each Dr. Having their own staff so organized and pleasant and you can call and if they don't answer just leave a message they always called me back the Same Day.Thank you Dr Echols see you soon...hopefully it will be good News!

After months of physical therapy the pain in my shoulder was unreal and couldn't raise my arm but a few inches from my body. I went to 4 shoulder surgeons before Dr. Mighell, they all said my case was too advanced for them. Dr. Mighell agreed my shoulder was messed up and the only option was a reverse replacement. His office worked to help me get him in network, and so I had the second surgery in less than 6 months. THANK GOD! Three days after getting out of the hospital my pain was all but gone. I stopped taking the hydromorphine and other serious pain medicines on the third day out. I am now 8 weeks post op and I can put my hair in a pony tail and do about 80% of what I could prior to the accident. Dr. Mighell is super wonderful, his team is amazing! I truly can't say enough great things about him. I
