The office could use a little work, like holes in the floor in the waiting room. I'm afraid one day someone will trip on one of them. I've had two doctor appointments here and both times it was a different doctor. I'm not crazy about that. I prefer having the same doctor every time they are both very nice. I have no complaints there, but wasn't crazy about treatment options They gave me. I refuse them. Physical therapy has been great. All three therapists are wonderful, very friendly and easy to work with. Yes I walk away very sore after a session but no pain no gain right? I have no experience with going to pain management business, so my opinions are as they would be if I had something to compare it to. Overall, I would say it's an OK place to go, and I would have no problem recommending someone to go here.

The receptionists were good, the office was tidy, it was nice, and a lot of the doctors and nurses were nice. I did feel like he was trying to dumb down everything he was saying to my mother like she was a teenager with no idea what was going on and didn't have a degree in nursing, which she felt was demeaning. But overall everything went really well with the surgery and with recovery (I did have a fall and they got me in that same day for x-rays to make sure I was okay, Cronen didn't see me but his assistant, Josh, did. He either arrived HOURS late and I had to wait for him or he didn't show up at all. The longest I was at the office was 6 hours. I needed an MRI and he refused saying that "X-rays didn't indicate I needed one" even though my arm is going numb, which indicates a pinched nerve in my neck. All of my personal doctors agreed that the issue was my neck. Previously, the X-rays for my back didn't show anything until I got an MRI, which showed bulging and herniated disks. I don't think he actually knows what he's doing or has just given up. I hate it when someone tries to mansplain things to me and that's all he did. Find a different doctor. The front office staff are nice though.

What I received instead was criticism, arrogance, condescension, and irrelevant commentary. Despite the purpose of my visit, Dr. Pittman never performed a physical exam, dismissed the imaging reports without even reviewing them, and chose instead to deliver a stream of unsolicited opinions--most of which had little to do with my actual health. The appointment felt less like a consultation and more like an ego performance. The dismissiveness began the moment he learned I was from Plant City, at which point he abandoned professionalism entirely and began name-dropping and referencing local beauty queens. It was bizarre, unprofessional, and insulting. He attempted to disguise this behavior as "providing truths" about needing a trustworthy medical team, yet most of his comments were thinly veiled criticisms of his professional peers. Following through on medical referrals is not mistrust of physicians--it is simply a patient taking responsibility for their health. Patients deserve honesty paired with compassion. Instead, I encountered arrogance wrapped in condescension and left feeling dismissed as a human being rather than supported as a patient. If you are seeking thoughtful, competent evaluation and education about your health, you will not find it here. I also recommend others with a negative experience file a complaint with the State of Florida Medical Review Board and the Better Business Bureau, in which he is notably not registered. And don't worry--he will likely reply with a self-promoting statement about being "world-renowned" or "award-winning." What he truly is, however, is someone whose personal bias and lack of professionalism raise serious questions about his suitability to provide patient care.

I had misunderstood the reason for showing up 15 minutes early (it was to fill out paperwork that I thought I had already completed) and I owned that. The reception staff was making comments about my tardiness right in earshot of me, and the nurse who took me back to the room didn't even acknowledge me. THEN Dr Zagar came in the room and was JUST AS RUDE as everybody else. That was enough for me. I felt like I was answering to a police officer, not walking into a caretaker's environment. I could not have felt more unwelcome. I left in the middle of the appointment when Dr. Zagar when she literally scoffed at one of my answers. UNBELIEVABLE! I gave them three chances to turn it around-did not happen. I will not go back there, and if you choose to be a patient there, make sure you are EXACTLY 15 minutes early and that you have a list of your medications. If you don't, be prepared to be treated like a criminal And bring a jacket- the mood is cold and easy in this place. I wish you the best. These are horrible diseases to have, and we all deserve compassion from our doctors.
