Ericka performed the majority of my initial appointment to prepare for my root canal, and it went by quickly and efficiently. She's a pleasure to talk to and she clearly explained my case and alongside Dr. West, explained the plan for the root canal My root canal performed by Dr. West was ENTIRELY pain free. I was very comfortable during the whole procedure and could tell that he was being very thorough. It is evident that he takes tremendous pride in his work, and he has a beautiful office and practice to show for it. It's definitely no accident that his team is comprised of the kind, communicative people I had the pleasure of interacting with; dental work/root canals can be stressful, but I never once felt stressed in his team's care. The billing department was simple to work with and handled my insurance seamlessly. Rio called me to assure all my information was correct and to had a quote of my bill in time for me to review before my appointment. She had clear numbers outlined for me and helped me devise a simple payment plan for my treatment. From walking in to leaving, my appointments here have been so smooth and professional. I was originally referred from my dentist at Stadium Dental and am so happy that I scheduled with Dr. West!

They had my social security number still. So just be forewarned that even if you go in for a consultation they will hold your private information to years to come. Also, during my treatment I received an email that their system had been hacked and my information had been stolen. So be aware. I have only met with the orthodontist once--at my initial consultation. I did not see him at the time I received my aligners or during my mid-treatment appointment, and all of my follow-up visits have only been with dental assistants. One of the main issues I had with my teeth I brought up during my initial consultation to the ortho, I even brought it up again to the dental assistant during my half way point when she showed me what the final results would look like and I told her I don't think my problem will be fixed. I have finished my treatment and have been emailing their office to try and get in and meet with someone about my teeth because I would like to have my issues addressed not with another dental assistant who is going to ignore me but with an orthodontist to review my progress, discuss my concerns in detail, and ensure that my results are what I asked for. Over a week later I have still not heard anything. Not to mention I already paid for my retainers that I still have not received because they haven't contacted me to come finish up the last of my treatment

During my checkup, I was told I needed six or more crowns along with several fillings, which immediately raised concerns, because the other clinic never told me of such. After having one filling done, I began experiencing pain in a tooth that had never bothered me before the appointment. When I later discussed this with my family, they expressed concern that the treatment may have caused the issue rather than helped it. Over a month later, the office contacted me to ask whether I wanted to move forward with the crowns. (The gentlemen calling, said the doctor wanted to know if I want to start treatment with one crown) By that time, I had already decided not to return. My husband and daughter were also seen the same week and both felt uncomfortable with their visits. Based on our experiences, we do not trust the treatment recommendations and have chosen to seek care elsewhere. I would encourage others to ask questions and consider second opinions before proceeding with extensive dental work here

Now that I finally have dental benefits, I decided to try btyDENTAL. I'm very happy that I chose this practice. Dr. Dom is very good at his job. During the consultation phase, he explained all the options I had and what the pros and cons were for each. He made it very easy for me to decide on my plan of action to get myself to better health for my teeth (and gums). During the two procedures so far (deep cleanings) he was very efficient and thorough in making sure that he got everything out. The two assistants that took care of me are amazing! I'll start with Reggie. She took care of all the x-rays and assisted Dr. Dom during the deep clean procedures. She has an awesome personality that put me at ease. I was very nervous and apologetic for what she was about to deal with because my teeth are jacked. She assured me not to worry and that their team was there to get me fixed up. After the cleaning procedures, Anahi took care of the polishing, flossing and fluoride wash and things like that. She also put me at ease and took very good care of my teeth. Both Reggie and Anahi have great singing voices btw and they will usually be singing along with the radio while working. Little things like that helped me feel comfortable during the procedures. After Anahi was singing along to Paparazzi, I showed her my video clips of the Gaga concert I went to and she just gushed with jealousy. Everyone at the practice is great! This is not a safe place to have dental care!…read more This dental clinic has steadily gotten worse over the years. The individuals at the frontdesk, in charge of the office running smoothly are rude and offer the poorest customer service I've ever dealt with when it comes to dental/health care. Some of the doctors (Dr. Lewandoski) are not focused on providing good dental care due to incompetence. In the last 3 years this clinic has placed an emphasis of making money by providing substandard dental care. I had to find another dental clinic to have my teeth properly cleaned even after I tried communicating my concerns with the Frontdesk. A new dentist had to address my dental concerns and addressed my teeth not being cleaned properly after 6 - 8 cleanings. The clinic drilled into my teeth, claiming I had a cavities and placed fillings that lasted only a year or so. This clinic and several others in Pierce county are owned by group of investors who seem to have little interest in patient care.

They were able to fit me into the schedule, and thanks to a cancellation, I had the procedure done the very same day as my consultation. The doctor recommended removing just one tooth, believing it was the source of all the pain -- and he was right! He saved me from having another tooth removed unnecessarily, which I truly appreciated. Everyone took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns, so I felt completely at ease going into the procedure.
