I really wanted to believe this would help. I've been having lower back pain since October while the office is very nice I can't say it's helped. It feels more like a money grab. Your asked to take an "educational" class which is a sales pitch to you have you refer them to your others whether it's your friend, church group of clubs etc absolutely no education was done at this time. They pin western medicine against holistic medicine when they should be working together. Basically they take a tiny hammer and tap your back and say it's an adjustment when there is zero bone/muscle manipulation. The improvement I did experience I cannot say was related to them al all. It may have just been time. I ended up getting a massage after I complete my "treatment" that improved my pain with a mixture of stretching , traction and massage that helped more than the 3-4 months of their back tapping. I completely blame myself for believe in this but it was a waste of time and money. Im glad I found this place, most places would rack, crack and send you on your way but these chiropractors on top of being extremely nice ( I dont think I've ever seen an employee frown) take the time with each person to identify the root cause of your discomfort and fix the issue unlike other traditional chiropractors who just crack whatever spot you point out hurts without doing further investigation as to WHY it hurts. Anchor does things right, I've seen more progress here than any other place. One amazing plus is the customer service , I am always waiting no more than 5 minutes and am usually in an out within 20 Minutes so how could anyone complain? read more

Great practice! Loving doctors! We usually see Dr. Alli for my daughters reflux and in just 3 months it's helped a ton. I see very infrequent signs of reflux since starting care and she's grown lot in a short time. We almost started medication again until I started to see big changes in her, much faster than originally anticipated. I'm so thankful we didn't have to put her back on meds! This is a very well run and professional office. I had never been to one that uses the tools to adjust only the joints that need it instead of everything around it. I think if you are used to having the cracking sensation, then this will be a big change. I personally didn't care for the dizziness that comes after some adjustments and this is a more gentle and deliberate approach. They do not do casual adjustment here and send you on your way in 3 minutes. They design a plan and keep track of everything so they can see what is working and how your body responds. That said, after your initial plan is made, you are in and out within 15 minutes. read more

This office are complete scammers! I was having back issues and I tried to get ahead of it with a chiropractor visit as an option. I called, scheduled, and paid in advance for the service. Unfortunately my back went completely out on me, I had to go to ER, and I ended up having surgery on my back. I'm home recovering, one person in my home has covid19 right now and I was called from the office to reschedule. At this time, I need to stay home and I have no frame of reference as to when I will be able to leave. I politely asked for a refund and I was told I have to come in to the office in order to get a refund. Ma'am, wth part are you not understanding? I'm not mobile and my family member is positive so we are doing the CORRECT thing and staying home. I asked for my card to be given credit or mail the refund. I was told that it is company policy that all refunds are issued in the office. So you mean to tell me you are FORCED to come to their office for a refund?? My family has been through a nightmare and we need all kinds of help but after realizing mine and my kids backs were suffering I knew a chiropractor was on the list too. And because I generally lean towards alternative healing first we figured we would check this place out. I expected that my children and I would get cracked (adjusted) feel relief and continue on with our lives. We got way more than that. This office is not like other practices. Starting with the welcoming upon entry there's a different level of energy obvious immediately. We were never ever standard patients- we were treated like people, wholly. We weren't the Sum of our issues or pains, ever. If you're looking for a good doctor to help relieve pain and find a solution for discomfort, in relation to your spine or your posture - yes that is most definitely here. But it was unexpected that with such a high level of education and expertise also came a high level of care and consideration. Also I thought it was pretty weird that Dr.Alley called me just a few days after my initial Yelp Review saying my Insurance did cover some of it and asked for my Debit Card Info over the phone to reimburse me for my First visit... And what I meant in my initial Yelp review is I didn't feel any relief right away from the method that they use... Actually the day after and following week, I felt as if it gotten worse and was feeling pain in places I've never had pain before... I started chiropractic care in the summer of 2018. My job at the time caused me to have a lot of lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain. I couldn't turn my head to the right; I couldn't imagine how I would get up off the ground if I somehow got down there in the first place. A friend referred me to Anchor Chiropractic. I had never been to a chiropractor so I didn't know exactly what to expect, but I was pleased with their approach to helping me get relief. One of their assistants, Hailey, explained in a very easy to understand way how the doctors were going to determine what needs to be adjusted in order to provide me the relief in the best way. This would entail a scan of my muscles and nerves from my lower back up to the back of my head, and a set of x-rays of the same areas. There would also be an orientation to the practice that included education on human anatomy, chiropractic history and case studies of chiro care. I appreciated this, although I was experiencing a great deal of discomfort; I had a clear understanding of what to expect to get out of the next several months of care. My adjustments started and my pain started easing up. In the beginning I was going 3 days a week. I liked the fact that the adjustments only took 5-10 minutes and that the doctors don't feel the need to waste my time by applying heat and ice (things I can do at home) and trying to massage the pain away They use a little instrument that retracts and "thumps" the bones that need adjustment. After the first month I was reassessed and my scans showed improvement. This affirmed what I was feeling at the time. At this point in time my visits were reduced to 2x/week, and eventually 1x/week until the end of my commitment. Throughout the course of treatment, reassessments were done and I gave feedback, which is what steered the doctors in the direction needed to get me feeling good again. My body needed realignment in several areas, and the technique used by Anchor Chiropractic is exactly what (I didn't know) I needed! I am so happy I found this particular chiropractic office and will not hesitate to continue care at Anchor Chiropractic as situations arise in the future. read more

Unethical, misleading, and a bit of a scam. When I first called I spoke with the Chiropractor and told him I was looking to get my entire body adjusted because I have tension and feel out of alignment in several areas. I was so looking forward to that neck crack and that low back crack. He knew exactly what I wanted when I called to make the appointment. He didn't mention that they do not do regular chiropractic adjustments and only adjust you using the small little click tool. He also knew I was concerned about funds and promised me that if my insurance didn't cover the visit, I would not pay more than $37. My insurance covers a certain number of chiropractic visits per year and I have not used any this year so I expected my insurance to cover my first visit for sure. My entire first visit was spent mostly with a very nice young woman who did her best to build relationship with me, asking lots of personal questions and trying to loosen up the atmosphere, you know what I mean. The Chiropractor evaluated my range of motion and then said I needed X-rays. Then the very nice young woman informed me my visit would be a total of $60 which I had to go pay right then, not at the end of the visit. I asked if the Chiro was going to adjust me and she had to go ask him and then let me know he would go ahead and give me an adjustment even though that wasn't his original plan. I objected to paying the $60 mentioning the insurance was supposed to cover a certain number of visits. She said they would go over that with me in a week after they came up with a comprehensive plan which my husband should join me for since there would be a financial decision. I paid them $60 and then the Chiro brings out his small click tool and that was it. No real chiropractic adjustment, no relief from my tension, and a waste of $60 and the time I spent. It was very misleading and feels pretty bad, like a scam. I can't believe I fell for it. I have been to so many chiros before and this one really got me. So disappointing. read more

I see a lot of bad reviews on here and most of them are only talking about their initial consultations and first visits. You have to remember, that the pain isn't going to go away over night, that with one visit, it's not going to change a whole lot. People think they can just go to a doctor and with that one visit, they're going to be fixed. When have you ever gone to a doctor and it was that easy?? Sometimes you have to be open to new things. Maybe by looking at something from a different point of view, you will find something that helps you that you would've never thought of. They definitely use a different method here, than the typical adjustment that you would imagine. But different can be good. It may also not work for everybody. There's nothing in this world that works for every person. Everybody is different. This however, works for me and maybe it'll work for you too. This is my experience, through the couple of months that I've been coming here. So, I've always been hesitant to go to a chiropractor because they are so expensive. I've had bad back pain for a long time now and earlier this year was my breaking point. I had the worst pain in my life, shooting through my back and other parts of my body. Of course doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me, even though I couldn't sit or lay down or really do anything, but be in tears from the pain. After a month, it went away, but I knew my back pain was getting worse and I had to do something about it. I finally gave in and started looking for a chiropractor because I hated not being able to do certain things that I enjoy because of my back and physical therapy and pain meds didn't work for me. I came across Anchor Chiropractic when I was at a bridal show earlier this year. i was hesitant because looking at the way they do things, I thought it might not actually work because it's not the same way you would think you'd get adjusted. I thought, why spend all this money if it's not going to work, but I got to the point that I had no other options and I had to try something. So, I gave it a chance and came in for a consultation. I've been coming here for a couple of months now and I will be completely honest. Has my pain gone away? No. Has it improved? Yes. Am I glad that I started treatment? Yes. It took a bit, before I felt much improvement. At one point, I thought maybe this treatment wasn't going to work. Maybe I'm spending thousands of dollars for nothing. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work right away. It's been a few months and I'm just now starting to feel a good amount of relief. But I am happy that I started because I feel a lot better than I used to. I still get back pain and aches, but they aren't nearly as bad or as often. I can definitely say that it has been helping, it's just not a quick process. You do need a good amount of adjustments and they only adjust a couple bones per session. They have me set up for a year of adjustments to get the bones to be trained to stay in the correct spots. I have seen improvements and I can't wait to see how I feel at the end of my treatments. Oh and the doctors are amazing. They are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They're very professional and they know what they're talking about. If you start getting pains anywhere, it may link back to a problem in your spine and they know everything about everything and do their best to get you relief from any problem you may be having. They are very thorough with everything they do and their goal is to make you feel like normal again. read more

TLDR: They will sign you up for "membership" with an exorbitant amount of adjustments before helping you, even though other chiropractors in the area can do it for much less with results coming much faster. Props on the educational seminar, but the fear factor is a tad strong. Background: I have been an avid user of chiropractic services for years. I understand the full gambit of what to expect and what new patients need to go through. I came in not being able to stand up straight. This was based on a single spasm that didn't seem to go away. My typical doctor was on vacation and so I chose Anchor for convenience. They did a full comprehensive evaluation (xrays, sublimation evaluation, even a machine used by NASA, supposedly, etc). They were thorough and I will give them that, but they specifically stated I had to sit through an educational seminar they put on (read an hour separate from the evaluation). Keep in mind, I am in pain the whole time. The seminar is informative. A little strong on the fear factor, which I can understand that health needs to be taken seriously. They also tell you to bring in your family and children so you start getting them adjusted even when they are toddlers. At the end, the seminar sounds cult like (get adjusted or you will never be 100% and bring your family so everyone can get the same benefits! I am paraphrasing of course), but it has good info. Evaluation is completed, but I am told I will need to sign up for an adjustment plan before they can do anything. This is where their shady practices come to light. Anchor specifically states they do not adjust the spine at once, but through a special device that moves vertebrae one at a time. The device is backed by other professionals, but it meant as a precision tool and thus it takes longer to do adjustments. With that said, they told me it would take 58 adjustments to bring me back to full strength. My health insurance does not support more than 24 adjustments a year, but they expect me to come in and pay for something that will take basically two years to fix when I am in pain? Talk about opportunists! If you were to go to any other chiropractor, you will typically see the number of adjustments (for my ailment) needed to be 24 a year (number given by multiple different area chirpractors, so not taken out of thin air). After signing up for a plan (like signing up for an athletic club membership), I eventually went through the adjustment. Next day I was still in pain and I was able to stretch it out to be able to stand up. My regular chiropractor was able to adjust me a day later and I walked out with just soreness. I state this to give you a reference to how quickly another qualified chiropractor could have had me back on my feet. After I was back on track with my chiropractor, I cancelled my "membership". I thought this would be the end of my ordeal. After telling them to get rid of my information, I received a text message advertising a "Dinner with the Docs" @ Dave and Busters. Seriously? I get trying to be creative with your advertising, but talking medical stuff in a barcade isn't my idea of professionalism. Also trying to play the social game of inviting me to a complimentary dinner to a fun community outing so I have to sit and listen to an unsolicited advertisement sounds like something all time shares already do. Dr Alli was nice and that girl at front Tiffany won't give me a straight answer. I just wanted to know right away and not letting me go around the bush. They want u to go back again before the answer. I told her insurance not gonna cover n it'll be out of pocket. But no answer. . I basically just wasted money and my time. Why make it so complicated n waste my time. Just tell me everything on the same day. I have no time to go back and forth to find out ur office is really pricey. Uughh very frustrated. After posting my Yelp review I received a phone call from Dr. John. Unfortunately when he called I was at work, but he was very kind to call me back once I got off work. Dr. John was very apologetic of my previous experience and expressed how they have changed the way they do things in their practice to make it less than a sales pitch. Additionally, Dr. John further reviewed my file and expressed that they indeed owe me an insurance reimbursement for the X-Ray. Dr. John also stated that my insurance would have covered 20 chiropractic visits, if I was told that in the beginning, I would've stayed as a patient, but unfortunately I wasn't aware until years later. Anyhow, I appreciate the honesty from the practice and it was nice to have received a reimbursement check of $115... but it is a little disappointing that I had to leave a Yelp review in order to receive my money back. She wanted our full name, the person who referred us and still no price forthcoming. Then she said there was a $30 fee to be assessed but April still wouldn't tell us the cost for service. Talk about a total lack of transparency with pricing! And, there is no mention of pricing on their website either. Felt like we were dealing with a used car salesman with a hidden agenda.
