I have zero irritation and can never tell I have extensions on. I have no shedding other than my normal lash shedding. She places them so that I can't even tell where they are attached. I am currently working to have management refund $699.95 in membership fees from a cancelled account that their sales girl mislabeled as a 1 month freeze and kept charging for 8 months until my bank called suspecting fraud. They are under new management now, but are seem to be just as sketchy.

I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. Overall, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the poor experiences in PL.

When I showed up on time, another stylist told me Andrea had canceled her 10:00 clients and wouldn't be in until noon -- and Andrea never notified me. I finally heard from her around 11:30. Her tone was casual, not sincerely apologetic, and she offered me a discounted service as if that would fix wasting my entire morning. At that point, it felt like an insult. What really stings is the contrast: Andrea made sure to tell me she couldn't take me in October because of her "celebrity" client, yet she couldn't even extend the basic courtesy of canceling or notifying me. It left me feeling like, if you're not a celebrity, your time and business just don't matter to her. I don't care about discounts -- I care about professionalism and respect. After this experience, I would never go back, and I don't recommend booking unless you're okay being treated like an afterthought.

I naturally I have very thin/fine hair, so my eyelashes are obsolete. I usually have to wear eye liner/makeup to enhance my eyes, but NOT ANYMORE! Cheryl was taking private clients only, but she has now opened up a new lash room in Poway. She shares a cute office with another gal, and has a huge, private, comfortable room for you to lay in during your lash session. She is very meticulous with her work, and she will take the time to make sure your lashes look beautiful. She has been trained by a Celebrity Lash Extension-er (if that's the term), using a different and more effective technique for the extensions. She has always been able to squeeze me in despite her busy schedule. My lashes ALWAYS look so beautiful and natural when I leave her place. She uses a great glue that stays at least 2-3 weeks, that you CAN get wet (disclosure: I'm not saying go diving, surfing, or scrub your face off in the shower. But, my lashes have graciously stayed on after 2 weeks, with 1 week in pools/oceans of Riviera Maya, MX). She keeps me entertained during my lash sessions with stimulating conversations, but also lets me take naps when I've had a long day. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Her prices are BEYOND affordable.
