The communication is fantastic. We love getting updates and photos throughout the day, and it always gives us something to talk about with him when he gets home. He's also a big fan of the delicious meals and never stops talking about the chickens and bunny! The entire school has such a warm, positive atmosphere, and it's clear that the staff puts their hearts into what they do. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Le Petit Gan.

As a mom, I'm sharing my personal experience because I know how important it is to feel your child…read moreis safe and happy at school. We enrolled with high hopes, but unfortunately our experience was very different from what we expected. During the time my son attended the school, he came home several times with scratches and bite marks that I had never been told about. I usually found them during bath time, and whenever I asked what had happened, no one could give me an explanation. One teacher, in particular, seemed to make my son very anxious. He would cry whenever he saw her. One day he came home with blood on his clothes, and I was told he had fallen. As a mom, that really worried me and made me question the level of supervision. I also noticed changes in my son's behavior while he was attending the school. He became more irritable, his eating habits changed, and he started hitting his older brother, which was completely out of character for him. I can't say what caused those changes, but I noticed them during the time he was there, and they concerned me. Even after we left the school, whenever we drove past it, he would often become upset and say, "Mommy, I don't want to go to that school." Seeing that broke my heart. It took me a long time to help him feel like himself again. Every child and every family's experience may be different. This was simply ours, and as a mother, I felt it was important to share it so other parents can make the decision they believe is best for their own children.

I really appreciate these opportunities to practice Chinese and experience the culture firsthand.

She covered the course material and was always great at answering questions and after realizing many of us in the third section were learning for a specific region, she even made a point to let us know some crucial variations for that region (which was not required, but a much appreciated touch.) All three classes were the perfect pace to be challenging, but not overwhelming. If you're on the fence about enrolling in their course, I'd highly encourage you to give them a try!

Our daughter is so happy there, and it is obvious how well the teachers know and care about each individual child. Ms. Abgaryan and Ms. Kiana always knows just what to say, and our daughter clearly has a soft spot for Ms. Arwa and Ms. Sohani. Our daughter is not a morning person, but Ms. Yi, Ms. Jamila, Ms. Awdish, Ms. Hazmik, and Ms. Feri always manage to get a smile out of her at the front door. The teachers put a ton of energy into making the kids' days interesting and fun. There are new programs all the time and lots of different ways for the kids to learn. They get plenty of outdoor play time and are encouraged to be independent and try things for themselves. Our daughter is excited to try new foods and comes home talking about things we never would have thought to introduce at her age. We also love the special activities they plan for holidays and celebrations. The kids and teachers are clearly having fun together, and there is always something interesting going on. Most importantly, we completely trust the people caring for her. She is loved, encouraged, challenged, and treated with kindness, and we see the effects at home in how confident, curious, and kind she is becoming. The teachers communicate through the app with detailed daily updates, and it is great to see photos and videos of what the kids are up to. As two working parents, it is a huge relief to know she is in good hands and to have such a clear picture of her day. Parents are encouraged to communicate with each other as well, and Maha really feels like a community of great people rather than simply childcare. We feel very lucky to have found it and couldn't recommend Maha more highly.

Our daughter has become more confident, polite, independent, and willing to try new things, and she grown and developed so much. Maha frequently introduces new activities and experiences, from yoga to dance to water play, basketball, and learning about different cultures. Our daughter loves going to school and whether she is playing and interacting with other kids or the teachers, we feel great knowing she is in a supportive and loving learning environment. She loves playing basketball with Ms. Kiana, always has an extra hug for Ms. Sohani, and lights up when she sees Ms. Feri. We love that she gets to spend time outside every day and that she has made friends with both older and younger kids. Communication with parents is also fantastic: clear, responsive, and frequent, with pictures and detailed updates throughout the day on the app. Trust and love are so important when choosing childcare, and we have both in abundance here. We feel incredibly lucky to send our daughter to Maha and would highly recommend it to anyone.
