We are very thankful to have found the LA Spanish School. We are a bilingual household (English and…read moreTurkish) and though it would good for our 3 year old son to start learning Spanish at an early age. Living in a very diverse and multicultural city we understand that our kids need to be equipped with the linguistic and cultural skills for their future. Learning another language is only possible through fully immersion so we were seeking immersive Spanish preschools when we came across LA Spanish School. We fell in love with the school's fully immersive curriculum, fantastic teachers Diana & Mirella and the facility. I cannot express enough how delighted we are with the Spanish immersive preschool program at LA Spanish School. Our son attends the 5 day preschool program. One of the standout features is the dedicated and passionate team of educators who make learning a joyous experience for the little ones. From the moment our child stepped through the doors, -and this was the first time he enrolled in any childcare program- he had a great connection with both teachers. Maestra Diana and Mirella are such sweet, caring and well equipped professionals, it is impossible not to notice how amazing they are with all children. Maestra Diana and Mirella's expertise provide an enriching learning environment. They seamlessly integrate language acquisition into every aspect of the curriculum, ensuring that children are not only exposed to Spanish but also engaged in meaningful and age-appropriate activities. They are very patient nurturing, and skilled in creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. I noticed how my son quickly learned Spanish words even by the end of his first week! He has been attending the school since fall and is now understanding all the commands, basic words, descriptions etc. Our child comes home excitedly sharing new words, phrases, and songs learned in class. He is very proud to learn another language that neither myself or my husband speaks. He is now teaching us Spanish! This makes us confident in the program's ability to instill a love for the language. Beyond language acquisition, we appreciate the emphasis on cultural exposure. The program incorporates celebrations, traditions, and customs from Spanish-speaking regions, giving our child a broader understanding of the world. This cultural integration fosters a global perspective and instills values of diversity and inclusivity. For example, we celebrated Dia De Los Muertos, Lanterns Night and attended their puppet show at a local park. The teacher go above and beyond to introduce aspects of the culture. The school also has a small community garden which enables the ones ones to be in the outdoors and connect with nature. Our son's favorite time in school is when they go to the 'jardin' to take care of herbs which teacher Diana so generously shares with parents and 'projecto' time where they do art projects. The school also teaches independence and social skills. For example my son learned to put on his shoes, wash his hands, interact with other kids, share and all the important things a preschooler needs to know before heading off to kindergarten. Our son now has friends and both teachers are very patient and nurturing with the children in helping them acquire these social skills. I cannot recommend higher the LA Spanish School to all parents and would like to thank the City of Santa Monica for their support in this fantastic program. If you are looking for a well-rounded, culturally enriching, and academically stimulating immersive preschool experience for your child don't hesitate to register for LA Spanish School. Our family is grateful for the positive impact it has had on our child's early education, and we look forward to continued growth and success in this outstanding program. We love our school and our teachers. Thank you Maestra Diana, Mirella and the City of Santa Monica.

As an expat family relocating from Europe, we chose the Lycée's International School Program (ISP)…read morefor our children. To make a long story short: This school has clearly exceeded all of our high expectations. Choosing the Lycée was the best decision we made. The school conducts several programs/events for new students/families to ease the transition into the school. Both, my daughter (Elementary School) and my son (first Middle School, now High School) felt welcomed and included from the very first day they attended this school. They both love the Lycée, enjoy going to school every single day and I have seen tremendous personal growth in my children in all pillars of growing up. What else can a parent ask for? What makes this school so special for me is: - The super devoted, passionate, encouraging and caring teachers, administration and staff and a truly inspiring school president - Its challenging curriculum and emphasis on a more analytical European style of education - The devotion to develop responsible, kind, independent and community-oriented students with core human values - The international school community (students & parents) and familiar atmosphere - Delicious school lunches, prepared daily at each of the campuses - The fantastic fine arts and music program (I have never seen anything like this in any other school) - Great after school activities (such as sports, drama, choir and many many more) The campuses I got to know are all special in their own way. The Elementary Campus has a beautiful garden, a swimming pool, tennis courts, an outdoor theater, and offers plenty of running and playing space. The Middle School Campus is tucked away in a separate building next to the Elementary School and is a perfect place for the transition period between Elementary and High School. The High School is very modern and spacious. Not only the building, but also the labs, technical equipment and sports facilities. What else is there to say? I feel incredibly lucky that my kids can go to the Lycée. We would choose this school over and over again. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Will begin by saying you not need to know French in order to apply, if you just discover this…read moreschool, you can still apply. I have experienced very kind and respectful students. I attribute this to the Civics/Citizenship, and Character Ed. curriculum, and overall atmosphere. The diverse groups blend together quite well in this nurturing community. From what I have experienced, students love the cultural and learning opportunities offered to them. The bilingual education keeps them on their toes, building their confidence in learning, and social connections. I also have observed that the bilingual education sharpens their language, writing and speaking skills in English classes. The beautiful fig tree, from over a hundred years ago, gives a canopy and center point to the campus, as children run and play around it. Many smiles and laughter take place at the Le Lycée. Drama is also offered, and theater productions in grade 4 and 5 draw a large lively cast. A lovely highlight is the Music Department, which brings light and cheer to the campus with the bilingual choir, concert productions, and MS/HS bands. Physical education takes place on campus with a spacious sports complex and swimming pool. The elementary campus is one integral step of the K-12 experience, offering students a chance to develop on as many as six different campuses. Students value the journey from PS to grade 12 and develop steadfastness, reaching a valuable pinnacle of unique fulfillment. The fruition stands out. Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles is the only school to offer the high school students the ultimate awards and achievements: the AP Capstone, Classic Baccalaureate the BAC, the Franco-American Baccalaureate, the FAB.

Watching my son, Berkehan, grow and develop during his time at Montana Preschool has been truly incredible. I have seen so much growth in him, and every improvement he has made has been outstanding. As a mom, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your child happy, confident, and excited to learn. Berkehan would always tell me that he wanted to go to school because he wanted to be with his classmates and see his teacher, Yasna. That alone showed me how much he loved being at school and how special his teachers made him feel. The teachers do such an amazing job engaging the children in meaningful and fun activities, including STEM classes, outdoor activities, and so much more. They create an environment where children can learn, explore, play, and grow. I am also incredibly grateful for how well the teachers and Principal Sigali have always communicated with me about Berkehan, his progress, and anything that needed my attention. They have supported us every step of the way, even helping us with potty training. That kind of care and support means more to me than I can express. As a mom who works a lot, having such caring, supportive, and dedicated teachers and a wonderful principal has truly been a blessing. Knowing that my son is in a place where he is loved, cared for, encouraged, and supported gives me so much peace of mind. Thank you to every teacher and to Principal Sigali for everything you have done for Berkehan and for our family. Montana Preschool will always hold a very special place in both my heart and my son's heart. We are so grateful for all of you and for the beautiful memories you have created for Berkehan. My excitement about my son having ISEE prep at Renaissance Kids quickly faded after meeting Frank…read more He is very rude and curt with the children. After I signed my son up, I spoke with former families and even a teacher, and was told that Frank should not be around kids because of his condescending demeanor. I am unable to recommend RK to anyone because of Frank. Anna and Danielle were okay. One last thing. Once I went to drop my son off at the upstairs classroom, and there was not an adult in the classroom, just several unsupervised kids. Anna, Frank, and Danielle were all downstairs. I always walked my son up to the classroom, and I'm glad I did. There should never, ever be a child in the classroom without a RK adult present. On that day I waited until an adult came upstairs before leaving my child for his class.

Renaissance Kids is the ultimate learning institution!…read more I have been coming to Renaissance since I was about 7 years old. Anna, Frank, and Danielle have all helped me succeed in my academic studies. When I was younger, I was tutored in spanish and math. Around the age of 13, I attended ISEE testing camps and when Junior year came around, I attended SAT testing camps, along with private tutoring. I can't remember who taught my ISEE camp, though I remember that Frank ran my SAT camp. Renaissance provided me (and the rest of the students) with the most elaborate binder I have ever owned! My SAT binder was filled with practice tests, explanations, vocabulary lists, latin root lists, and even a weekly agenda that listed the plans for each time our "camp group" met and our homework. ..And the improvements were clearly visible after testing days past by! I have found myself at Renaissance Kids the most during my last two years of high school. Danielle has truly been a friend at hand with my senior essays, including my research paper! The way she thinks and her level of intelligence just blows me away and I can trust her with any question I have with my papers. Renaissance whole-heartedly wants their students to achieve their goals, be happy, and succeed in their futures. I'm definitely going to miss them when I depart for college! Renaissance is not a waste of your time, money, gas, or energy. Give them a chance, I assure you, you will be satisfied!
