I've been seeing Rayna for over 3 years now for gua sha, cupping, massage, and, most recently, acupuncture. I would recommend her to anyone looking to take care of themselves, their bodies, and their minds. Being an active person, I have developed some lingering issues in my neck, shoulder, and lower back. Rayna tailored a combination gua sha, massage, and cupping to help relieve my chronic issues. This has allowed me to recover faster and, overall, take better care of myself. Most recently, I have had a severe pain and throbbing in my neck and shoulder. After a trip to urgent care, visits to the chiropractor, and various x-rays and MRIs with no diagnosis or relief, I went to see Rayna. Over the course of 2 visits, my pain was completely gone and has not returned. I should mention that I have tried acupuncture before and did not seem to respond to or enjoy it at all. I was also left a little gun shy after my acupuncturist did not fully explain what she was going to be doing or how long the needles would remain in place. After sharing my experience with Rayna, we decided that it would be worth trying for the severe pain I was experiencing. My opinion on acupuncture has completely changed! I wasn't too sure what to expect from my visit. It was actually a surprise appointment I got for Christmas from my SO. I was having a difficult couple weeks for me leading up to my appointment, but right when I got there and met Rayna, I felt instant understanding and relief. I ended up getting a full-body massage and cupping treatment. The whole atmosphere was set up for trust and healing, from the fragrances, to music, to her treatment of my issues, that I didn't come prepared to articulate :) Still Rayna was very observant and knowledgeable and knew what to do. Rayna is truly a lightworker. I've been to other healers with varied results, and I don't think any other session had the intensity or depth that I experienced during my treatment from Rayna. She was very friendly and down to earth, her office was comfortable and nicely decorated. It was sort of a surprise, from the outside, you wouldn't expect this sort of zen little studio to be inside this building. The room smelled awesome and there was relaxing music. She took her time discussing my goals for the session and the actual treatment time was at least an hour, probably a little bit more. It's a pet peeve of mine when people shorten the time because they book someone right after you. It's been almost a week and I still notice some of the positive shifts from the treatment. I will go back when I notice that I need another tuneup. The price was reasonable (I once paid $150 to another practitioner wasn't as good), and she offered me a discount for being in the healing industry, which is much appreciated! I went to see Rayna for a Reiki session before embarking on a new direction in life. Due to the fact that I am in the holistic health field I'm super picky about who I see! I knew Rayna through her acupuncture school and decided to give her a shot. I have to say that it was indeed a wonderful session. I recently was gifted a Reiki session with Rayna after already having heard such incredible things about her work from a friend, who has worked with her for years. I had been suffering from severe insomnia from hormonal imbalances since getting my IUD removed and thought I'd give Reiki energy work a try. Rayna gave me a wonderful treatment that really helped me get restful sleep without prescription medications. I had Reiki by someone else in the past that didn't do much for me, so I was really impressed with the effectiveness of Rayna's treatment. The place was clean & comfortable. She had candles lit for a soft ambiance in the room and after first asking my preference, she played beautiful background music that complemented the treatment. Rayna is down to earth and she really put me at ease. During the treatment, it was one of the rare times that I was able to meditate without my mind being a chatterbox & working in overdrive. After the treatment I felt completely calm, relaxed with a sense of well being. Best of all, when I went to bed that night I slept like a baby.
