Provides access to immediate needs of scientific and experimental gadgets, calibrated metrology, science "toys" and intellectual hobbies. This place reminds me of the excitement of visiting a toy store as a kid. New experiments and projects to dream about, parts available no where else, but here, today. And of course the stuff for the big boys that I'll try someday, when I am more confident and skilled. I've bought a graphite crucible, 1/2" rare earth magnets, an adapter to connect my dslr to a Celestron, hazardous materials safety stickers, my parents' his and hers Air-Bazookas just to name a few items. It was a few days before Christmas and my husband wanted a telescope for Christmas (he's wanted one since he was a child). I stumbled across this store while google searching stores near me that had telescopes. It was a life-saver! I drove 45 minutes to get there and was overwhelmed by the numerous telescopes in the store. A gentleman named Doug helped me make a decision on a telescope that he thought would be great for my husband (a beginner). My husband was very happy with his telescope and I will definitely keep this store as one of my favorites. It has scientific toys and gadgets that will certainly keep you or your child learning. The best scientific store in town. Everyone is always super helpful and knowledgeable. They literally have everything you need for science projects and experiments. Great for gifts. Teachers get a 10% discount. Their online inventory is spot on so you can look up what you need before you head over. The parking lot is covered with trees so it's great for parking in the heat. read more

We had such high hopes after reading all the positive reviews that this would be the place we found a telescope. When my husband walked in the gentleman asked him what he could help us with, my husband responded that we are in the market for a telescope. The man told us that we won't be able to get one without spending at least $500. My husband then told him, that's fine. Then the man said, well all mine are computerized, to which we responded that's what we want. Then we asked if we could see some and Finally, he said he didn't have any. It was really odd, like he didn't want us in the store. We were like oh well and let the kids look around at some of the science stuff they had. About two minutes later, another guy walked in and asked for the EXACT thing we did and the man who worked there told him he had some he could see upstairs and took him. I don't know why someone else would have received help when we didn't, but I have my suspicions and it's not a good feeling. read more

I first stepped in as a child in the early 2000's and I have loved it since. They always had my favorite dinosaur models in stock. Now I am 27 and have been back a few times for some telescope questions and a new telescope soon(thanks to Doug). Also, My English teacher J. Aldrich works and helps out there from time to time. What a small world! The staff is always friendly and helpful and they have a good family atmosphere. I will always come back when in need of science supplies. read more

Was rather overwhelmed as I researched the purchase of my first telescope. Doug broke everything down and made it a lot less intimidating. I kept thinking, "I can do this," as he was talking, teaching me all the basics for me to feel confident with my purchase. Of course there are upgrades in the future, but I feel like our family is off to a great start. Thanks a lot! And wow! A lot more than telescopes here. I just can't imagine not adding this store to our 2 1/2 year old's Christmas list! Our wee ones are born scientists, we should nurture that instinct at all cost. This place is phenomenal. It is like I woke up in my childhood dream room! Superb collection of items to encourage learning and stimulate anyone's curiosity. The second floor has has wonderful collection of telescopes and microscopes that surly be on the Christmas gift list for my son. The staff was very helpful and was able to provide all the chemicals for my sons science project. The one item they did not have they were able to direct me to a local store that did indeed have it. By the way he won second place in the Earth Science category so I have to gives kudos to the helpful people at Analytical Scientific. If you love science... go there soon! I can't believe I drove all the way out there to be treated so poorly by a rude, belligerent, and dismissive salesman. I came to purchase a box if prepared microscope slides for my excited three year old daughter who was with me at the time. I told him what I was looking for and he began attacking me over the quality and condition of the microscope I told him I was given by a neighbor. Note that I didn't have the microscope with me so he didn't know anything about it except that it was used and that I didn't buy it from him. Also note this whole effort was to get a three year old excited about science so the quality doesn't much matter as long as it is functional. He opened the locked case and showed me a few different size boxes of slides. I told him I would like to buy the 25 slide box (a $40 item). He then said that this was the last one and proceed to box it back up, put it back in the case, lock it, and with no further explanation, he walked away. WTF prick? I'll gladly spend my money at Amazon. Never going back... read more

So, the guys a great people. Really nice and not the judgemental type. Just very cooooool. Nice folks and easy to approach. I have not compared prices. For parents trying to introduce their kids to another world, this is a great start. Highly recommend this place. There are plenty of neat little trinkets and plenty of actual lab stuff like blood agars. read more

Anyone would love this store. They have something for EVERYONE, and everything for certain ones. I have been a science teacher and I am a grandmother. This is a great place to get anyone excited about science. I have a grand-daughter who is begging to go, but she lives out of town. I hope we can visit soon. read more
