Decor has a nautical theme but very tastefully done. Smoking is outside the front, toilets at the rear up a wide hallway on the left. This can double up as a private party room, on the busy days ie Mothers day etc. over flow for dining purposes (can be a bit cold up here sometimes) and finally a night club.
Big open fire and nice background music. New snug bar to the right which the owners are trying to have as a "Drink Only" section. Newly decorated Dec 2009 to include a pot belly stove etc.
Jan 2010 and the owners Tommy and Orla are building a 20 bed hotel to add on to the bar. If I know these guy it will be a well thought out as the bar is. Night club will be closed for a few months. read more
