We made an order of two 5oz burger deal, curry and cheese frys, and onion rings. The burgers were…read morejust awful they were DROWNED in mayonnaise, both ends of the burger had the thickest shmear of mayo yuck. I could see the beef patty was nicely grilled but the mayo definitely overshadowed any flavor it might have had. The fries were bland and soggy I could have wrung out the oil from them and had plenty to make some fries of my own at home. The onion rings were so beyond soggy that they were practically inedible. You can tell the oil they use to fry is not as hot as it should be allowing food to soak up oil rather than crisping it. We will never order again. The one extra star is for customer service they are nice people just horrible cooks. I guess you can serve horrible food and get away with it since there isn't much variety in the town.

We were staying at the Westport Plaza Hotel and went out to see the town in the few hours we had…read morefor our one day stay in Westport. Passed by this restaurant right down the street, and liked what we saw on the menu posted in the window. Tired of pub food and overpriced restaurants, we decided to go back there for dinner. If you're looking for ambience, this isn't your place. But if you want good food at very low prices, you'll find West Kebab will do just fine. We ordered the combo plate for two, which was a huge mound of meat - 2 kinds of lamb, 2 of chicken, 2 pitas, and a small plate of lettuce, onions, tomato, and a delicious cabbage salad. We asked for a little more of the cabbage and the waitress gave us a considerable portion. All this for €14. They don't serve alcohol and we don't drink soda, so this was the complete bill. Big change from what we've been spending for dinner every night. The lamb chunks were cooked a little more than I like, but they were tender enough and tasty. All of the meat had less salt than I usually find in this type of food, which was appreciated. There is waitress service, and it was friendly and efficient. They don't take credit cards, and amazingly, they're open until 1 AM!

I really liked it and the medium one was only 6.50e. It was 10 inches in diameter and was plenty to eat. Others had fish and chips. They were OK but more like 3 star. My wife had the scampi and liked it pretty well. 3.5 star. Water comes in a bottle not glasses. Service was fine and at the table.
