It certainly helped that the weather was perfect, encouraging us to eat outdoors so we could look out at the water. This place is hard to miss from the road, as the owner created a memorial for the Irish who sailed from the shores, never to return. This will be a "must visit" stop for us next time we return to Ireland (and there will be a next time!)

The broth is milky delicious, and it is a helping of one that would make any fisherman feel great mid shift. As for the fish 'n chips, how could I forget? Great fry, great chip (because the chowder was so heavy I could not eat them all), and the fish (it was Hake), is super flaky. Be mindful though as the fish has the bone-in so you will have to pick them out or you can accidentally choke on one, or swallow one painfully.
