At one point, I was unable to sleep at all. I was extremely averse to medication and initially refused any treatment. I found Dr. Chen and began acupuncture. I still wasn't sleeping, but after a few sessions, Dr. Chen gently advised me that I should consider taking medication. Because I trusted him, I listened. I took a short course of medication, and eventually I went back to sleeping like a baby. Dr. Chen was there throughout my entire period of suffering and healing, and I credit his expertise in acupuncture as an important part of my recovery. Before finding Dr. Chen, I had seen another acupuncturist who did absolutely nothing for me. The office was the definition of "Zen"--water sounds, beautiful scents, peaceful surroundings--and it cost a whole lot of money. And yet I was awake the entire time. After removal of the cupping they have you turn over on your back and they finish up your massage. It was so good and relaxing, you can let them know if it's too hard and they will adjust the pressure they apply. It's a place to go for your aches and pain. It's nice reset monthly if possible.
