Any's is like a Chinese buffet except they dish up the food. It looks like they're cooking and bringing out new hot food quickly. We waited a bit for a fresh batch of chow mien. You order a plate with chow mien or fried rice then 2 mains. Good choices and loads of food. Enjoyed their food very much. Plenty of leftovers for another meal. Is this where you go on Date Night? Been in Santa Rosa for several years now and I've tried many Chinese spots. I am a Chinese American food connoisseur traveling up and down the country trying the best. Happily went to support a local business for a late lunch today. Unfortunately after picking up the takeout meal and arriving home, I came across a DISGUSTING surprise. Originally thought I had pushed an "herb" in my rice to the side, but thought it odd a few seconds later; I'd never come across Chinese fried rice which was prepared with fresh herbs. I decided to poke around the area where I had seen a hint of green, to my amazement, the flash of green I mistook for the fresh herb was a DAMN fly! I drove back with my food immediately to ask for a refund in addition to politely ensuring current clientele had left the restaurant. The lady at the register did NOT want to issue a refund and expressed I could switch out my meal for a brand new one! After being adamant about receiving a full refund of $24.61, she only agreed to return $22.61 since the other $2 had been a tip. read more

I was in the mood for cheap fast chinese food and this delivered. The orange chicken was a disappointment though. I went at 1230 and the orange chicken was not crisp, but doughy and bland. Teriyaki chicken tasted good, sauce was thin and not too sweet like some thick syrup versions I've tried. Chow mein was yummy, no veggies but not greasy either. I was passing through the area on my way home from work and was craving the breadsticks a couple doors down at little Caesar's. I have been very meticulous on when I eat out but figured I would splurge today. I am so happy I came across this little place tucked in the corner of the market off of guerneville road. These combo boxes put Panda Express to shame. They are quick, authentic and SO FIRE!!!! I am always about finding local little gems in Sonoma county and this is for sure one of them. First off, heres how i rate: 1 star- abysmal 2 stars- not worth it 3 stars- just fine 4 stars- expectations met 5 stars- expactations exceeded I really like Amy's Place and go there a lot. For less than 10 bucks you can get a togo box stuffed with food. This is the only place I get Chinese food now because it can be so expensive to buy it elsewhere around here. The food is fresh, veggies have crunch, sweet n sour pork/orange chicken isnt cloyingly sweet as it often is. My favorites are the teryaki chicken and brocolli beef, and i get that with chow mein as my side. The set up is very similar to how Panda Express works, but this is way better, cheaper, and you get to support local small buisnesses. There are less options than Panda Express and there isnt much in the way of shrimp, but Im simple and pleased with the selection. I say give it a shot if youre hesitant. Very cheap Chinese food is always hit or miss - you're either gonna end up with a great discount meal or something nasty and greasy, and fortunately this place is the former. Very fair prices, decent food and as far as I can see at least from the counter, they run a pretty clean kitchen, which is definitely something you want to see when you're ordering chicken. Also generous portions which is always a plus. The main thing to keep in mind is that you're not gonna get something world-changing, it's a simple place with hot-held food, so try and just appreciate it for what it is. read more

This is a great place for 'take out' Chinese. It's served buffet-style, so know the food is already prepared and sitting in warmer trays. Tables are kitchen formica, so I wouldn't advise eating in. Fortunately, they have a pretty high turn-over, so food doesn't sit too long. Tasty entrees, good prices. I've been driving by this place for years now and kept telling myself that I would go in one day. Well, today I finally made that happen, and I'm not sad I did. As others have mentioned, it's a little hole in the wall takeout place in a strip mall on the very edge of town. There's nothing fancy about it in any way shape or form, but what it lacks in flair it makes up for in value. A two item combo came to just over $8 with tax. As far as the food goes, my choice was a chow mein base with orange chicken and garlic chicken as the two entrees. The chow mein was super plane. Just noodles, no vegetables or meat of any kind. That being said, it wasn't overly greasy and it had a good flavor to it. The orange chicken was cooked well; Not dry and not soggy. The sauce was flavorful but not excessively sweet. The garlic chicken was a bit bland, but again, cooked well with the vegetables being cooked through but not mushy as seems pretty common in other restaurants. Don't come here if you're trying to impress a first date or important client, but all in all, it's super worth it for a quick, cheap bite! read more

If you come in when it's busy, they have fresh item rotating A LOT, If you come in during off hours (between 2:30-5:30 or after 8pm), ..ehh, not so much. If they're out of something, they'll totally make more for you. Even if it's one order. BUT, if they have some there, as dried up and ancient as it may be, you get what you get. The service is efficient. The lil guy cooking in the back is FAST. It's not fine cuisine, or even amazing, but if you're looking for a greasy spoon kinda Chinese that's consistently tasty, this is your place! FYI ~ ask for your sauce on the side. For everything. You get more, and will avoid a puddle in your bag that may or may not leak all over your car. The beverage selection is getting better, but it's still pretty lacking. But when I tell others how much I love Amy's food, they tend to have high expectations and then seem disappointed with their experience.
