I really loved my nurse practitioner. She's still there but what was always a busy practice turned into a factory assembly line. The doctors orders don't have any follow through. For example- nurse practitioner says to get a test and return in a month. Front desk at check out says they can't get me in for 6 months. Oh well. Mention it to the nurse practitioner and I get an " I am sorry and I know." Very unacceptable and tough conditions or people who work there. I found someone at Banner who looks at the portal and at least makes things happen. Bye bye Copperstate.

She was part of the care team for 2 out of 3 of my high-risk pregnancies while we were stationed in Tucson (my kids are now 4 and 8), and I followed her from Desert Bloom OB/GYN to Copperstate because I trusted her deeply. Unfortunately, that trust did not extend to the Copperstate front desk. I began calling in March 2024 trying to schedule an appointment, and continued doing so through January 2025, but was repeatedly told, "We're not scheduling yet -- we're merging with TMC, call back next month." Every single time, I was given the runaround, despite the fact that I was an established patient in good standing. I tried for nearly a year, only to be brushed off again and again. It felt like I didn't matter to the administrative team at all. Eventually, I gave up and switched to a new GYN elsewhere in Tucson. It's incredibly disappointing that an office I trusted with my health could be so dismissive and disorganized. This one-star review is solely for the front office and management -- not for Taber, who I am sure remains an amazing provider and someone I'll always be grateful for. But no patient -- especially someone already established -- should be treated this way. You can't build trust if you can't even return calls or book appointments.

She provided us with invaluable support before, during, and after my birth. In short, Kelsey is an exceptional doula-don't hesitate to hire her! Before meeting Kelsey, I didn't know a lot about doulas; I just knew I wanted all the expert support I could get going through my first pregnancy and labor. My understanding of Doula meant home birth with a midwife, but I planned to give birth at TMC with my OB.  I first contacted Kelsey through her website (after thoroughly stalking her Instagram hygge.birth.services) when I was about three months pregnant; we scheduled a video call meeting to get to know her. After our initial call, Kelsey left her email and phone open for any follow-up questions we might have while deciding whether to become her client. Kelsey's service offerings are comprehensive, and we opted for her Complete Birth and Postpartum Support Package. While I was Kelsey's primary client, my husband also benefitted greatly from her support. We had a group text throughout the pregnancy to address any questions or concerns, ensuring we were both well-informed and prepared. Kelsey's support was instrumental in keeping us on the same page, especially when I went into labor and was unable to communicate as effectively.  Even if you're not interested in a doula for your entire pregnancy journey, I highly recommend taking Kelsey's Childbirth Education Course (CBE). She offers private sessions in your home. She is offering a reduced rate as she is in training, which is a fantastic deal. I wish we had started her CBE course when we were family planning; there is so much information that would've been really helpful in the early days of our pregnancy. Even starting when we did, around 6 months, there was still an abundance of information we took away from it. Taking her course would also be a great way to get to know Kelsey if you're not sure you need a Doula yet. On our second night home with our baby girl, she wouldn't stop crying, and my husband and I were at our wit's end. The "5 S's" weren't working. I sent Kelsey a frantic text at 11 p.m., and to my surprise, she quickly responded with encouragement and guidance. I'm sure that isn't always possible, but that's just one example of how Kelsey goes above and beyond to support her clients. Kelsey is also an amazing Mama. With a toddler and infant, she's in the thick of parenthood, which is just an added bonus. She is also very organized, which was helpful for my very disorganized personality. Although our formal package with Kelsey has ended, we will stay in touch. I plan to hire her for additional postpartum support visits. She's kind, caring, compassionate, and a great advocate. I'm very grateful she was a part of our birth journey.

However, my birthing experience was pretty good with a few hiccups. Birthing experience: my nurses were phenomenal. They were caring and accommodating. When complications arose, the physician on call was flexible and did pivot. I don't want to imagine what my delivery would have been like without Stephanie. She's literally an angel. But honestly all of my team was amazing and went above and beyond. After birth: mom and baby unit I had extremely caring nurses and patient care technicians. They made me experience 10x better. Gabby was awesome. Thankful for an amazing team

Do not go to TMC for anything with OB or labor and delivery. The Dr's do not listen. They do not…read morechart the patient with accuracy. The triage department thinks you are a waste of their time and you feel like you are imposing on their conversations. They are very rude and do not want to do their job. The Dr's only check on you once a day for 2 minutes with no plan of action or bedside manner. If you are high risk or have issues, try another hospital.

Dr. Gelety works perfect for me because I am not someone that needs to be treated very gentle and fragile. I was going through an infertility journey that requires to be tough to push through! Dr. Gelety has NEVER been rude or disrespectful in any way. He is quick, thorough, and knows what he is doing. You can see his mind problem solving during appointments. I rather him focus on THE REASON WHY CAME IN rather than him focus on being extra sensitive and fragile with me - that's not what I came in for. It's fine if other people need that type of care and need more of a sensitive approach. But if you want straight answers, getting the job done, and trusting the process- this place is for you! They…read moreabandoned me as a patient after I spent 3500+ on meds and had the audacity to ask about taking vitamins and hormone tracking as I have irregular periods. Ghosted over an email with questions. The nurse was fake nice enough and the only time her facade cracked was when I would ask her questions she wasn't ready to answer or I'd ask questions over and over since they wouldn't answer or address my concerns. Her response was always the same and very rehearsed... I didn't have a problem with it until I realize she didn't have any real answers. Dr. Gelety was nice enough, answered all my questioned, didn't quite assuage my curiosity registering my weight or my irregular periods. Both he and the nurse just basically ignored and never acknowledged that I even asked or said anything about it. He did an ultrasound the first appointment which I thought was only a consult but no... they wanted to rush me thru the procedure. Offered very little guidance outside of meds and the scheduling to harvest. They weren't really concerned with my concerns just getting me thru the procedure. The nurse told me that it was annoying to have to help patients with their shots and that's when I started feeling uneasy. ... I have a traumatic past with needles as a kid so I asked a lot of questions. Her answers were unhelpful. She forgot to fake smile because this was probably the third time in a half hour period I asked about the shots. I don't like having to explain my traumas(and I didn't) but I needed to know the exact process and the side effects and yaddayadda. So anyway now I have wasted all the money on meds. And have terrible anxiety about going to other clinics and asking questions because it's hard enough to get any doctor to listen to me as it is... I gotta go and pretend like this traumatic nonsense never happened.

Cassandra went beyond our expectations. She was able to prepare us and provide a lot of knowledge and support prior to labor. She taught us a lot of techniques we could use before, during, and after labor. She listened to me and my partner, which was another important thing for us. As for the most part, my birthing plan did not go as I had planned. I ended up having preeclampsia and got induced 3 weeks early. I couldn't have done it without Cassandra and my partner, though. Cassandra made sure I was comfortable; she brought snacks, tea, games, a tablet to watch movies, and even went out to go get me a slushie I was craving so badly. She brought all of her tools as well. She also took pictures that we will forever cherish. Her support and knowledge were everything we needed and more. I honestly could not have done it without her; she was absolutely amazing! She also kept my placenta and made tablets for me. She was also going to make a keepsake out of the cord and make it into a heart, but was unable to since my cord was so short. Cassandra has stayed in touch with us and provided a ton of resources for me, which has been so helpful. If you are looking for someone to listen to you, provide knowledge, support you, and go beyond for you, Cassandra is the perfect doula for you.
