Just nice to walk around and they have a area where they set up that you can play board games like Uno or backgammon games and then on the other side of big chest and it's sparkling clean and beautiful. I don't know what the other old review was about. I guess it was before they fixed it up. There are gift shops and left an old graffiti wall there which was very cool. It might not be a big deal for some, but for those who knew it we are happy to see it still there and you can see the ambassador bridge from there in different parts of the city. A great place to stop and see if you are visiting downtown Detroit.

Spacious seats not crammed in like airplane seats. Pretty good reclining seats. Food carts come by often. Two bathrooms each for each car. A few nice views from window. Staff is friendly. Things I dont like: There are 5 stops, which slows the trip down. The seats hurt your butt after a few hours, no phone charges on the train, no in car entertainment screens. The internet is slower than 1 MBps, that is like dial up speed. No complimentary snacks or beverages, everything is cash. Windsor station would not only let me pay for 5 days for parking, they made me pay $70 for the whole week.

I don't think I've ever done that before" experiences...at least for me. So although I did say "Toledo," I actually caught the train in Bryan Oh. I figured my car was less likely to get messed with in the parking lot out in Bryan, (compared to what might happen in (almost) The Old South End of Toledo). LET ME TELL YA SOMETHIN'!! This has been a great experience! Super easy... 1. Drive to Bryan. It's an easy drive at 6am. Takes about an hour from Toledo. You can catch the train in Toledo if you hate driving and don't mind taking the chance of leaving your car unattended. 2. Park your car in the well lit, blacktopped parking lot. Plenty of spaces. 3. Wait for the train. Don't be late. Amtrak will text you if there is a delay. 4. Show your QR ticket code the conductor and board the train. 5. Enjoy letting someone else do the "driving." Sleep, read, look out the window, bullshit with the other passengers, write a Yelp review...whatever you'd do on a plane, you can do EASIER on the train. The Amtrak train itself? Very pleasent surprise. Even coach is way, WAY more comfortable than flying (except first class...$$$$). College kids and Amish make up a disproportionate amount of riders, at least on this route. Bathrooms are clean and much more spacious than those in an airplane. The station at Bryan is basically an enclosed bus stop, but without the junkies and the bag lady. But also, there is no bathroom, vending machine, ATM, etc. Would I do this again? Oh hell yeah. 5 stars!

About 40 minutes from my parents' home in Fulton County, there is ample parking--albeit a tad bit rustic. My mom, niece and I took the train to Chicago for a day trip and we all loved being able to relax, sleep or read in the way there and back. While the return leg was delayed considerably, the comfortable accommodations made it enjoyable.

Inside is a train waiting room and a small Indian Trails bus station, with really uncomfortable chairs. Everything is just a little run down. The security guard manning the station opens the anti suicide gates after the train stops, and watches people.
