I'm still not convinced the entire restaurant doesn't smell better just because he's in it. Now, onto his management skills--impeccable. Smooth, attentive, effortlessly in control. He moves through the restaurant like a conductor leading a symphony, except the symphony is perfectly shucked oysters and flawless service. At one point, I'm fairly certain he solved three problems, greeted five tables, and made someone's day just by nodding at them--all in under 30 seconds. I don't know if that's training or just raw, natural greatness. The food? Fantastic. Truly. Our server Casey was one of the best in the biz - he made the experience so great! We felt like we were besties with him. We shared the shrimp as an appetizer and ate it alarmingly fast. Then for entrees, my darling got the Chicken Milanese (Casey gave the hot tip to do mashed potatoes as a side and that was a crucial and worthwhile decision) and I got two apps as my entree, the Brussels sprouts and the Tuna tataki.
