Andrew was courteous and through in his work. He addressed the issue that we were having with an outside electrical outlet and was able to explain the causes of the issues that we were having. AMS Electric was so incredibly kind and gracious to schedule me in today. I shut off my breakers for heat after smelling melted plastic at the thermostat and saw the electrical melted through the wire casing. I didn't want to turn anything back on unless it was safe. I called around various places but many were booked or couldn't guarantee service with a minimum $195 troubleshooting fee. I left a message with AMS but was not sure they would get back to me. Brenda called me back right away. Despite having everyone scheduled out, hearing I had lost my heat with the safety concerns over melted electrical, Brenda contacted the owner Aaron who agreed to come out today to help me. Aaron was very courteous, responsive, and professional. He came prepared with a spare thermostat, even though I had already purchased one. His work was professional and he made sure things were installed level. The price for the same day service was very reasonable. $99 service entrance fee + repair time. Wow, I'm impressed! AMS was responsive over Yelp. I first had them out in the fall of 2021 to do some minor work (hanging a hardwired fixture, changing some light switches, and a few other odds and ends) and had a great experience. I called AMS again in 2022 when it was time to upgrade my electric service and install a new panel. They handled all of the work (permits, installation, and service upgrade) quickly and efficiently. We had a main breaker go out on an older panel and they came out the following day and couldn't have been more professional. We had Seatown come out prior and they indicated that we needed a whole new panel as the main breaker part wasn't no longer made, they were quoting us $7000 of course wanting to sell us the most expensive panel. When Aaron came out, he took the time to find us a replacement breaker and indicated that the panel did not need to be replaced!
