I didn't take picture of the tongue, but it was good quality. Tasted amazing, soft with slight chewiness. Wagyu was great too, buttery and just melt in your mouth. Meat here is a bit pricey, but you're definitely getting quality stuff.

I wanted to buy some meats to bring home to cook dinner. I stumbled upon this place after a few…read moreGoogle searches and decided to try it out. The shop is small and selection isn't the biggest, but it's enough. They made a fresh batch of marinated butter chicken so I bought that along with the sauce. I wanted and tried their garlic chicken. I wanted to try the goat meat too, but we didn't have a lot of people for dinner that day so decided to come back another day. The two types of chicken that I cooked up at home were so flavorful, juicy and delicious. The chicken and sauces were freshly made so it probably made a huge difference too. The man working inside the shop that day was friendly and took his time to explain each item. He was happy and appreciative of the reviews I told him about on Google as well. I'll be back next time to try more things.

I'm not used to green coloured chicken but was willing to try since she highly recommended it. I was so glad I did. The taste was amazing and very flavorful that I managed to look past the color. The tandoori chicken was also excellent. I followed her cooking directions in the airfryer and it was perfectly cooked. I am so glad I took a leap of faith and went inside their store. It was so good I will come back tomorrow for more.

Parker Place is the perfect complement to Hong Kong BBQ Master; they've perfected char siu and soy…read moresauce chicken while Parker Place is the spot for roast pork and roast duck. It's located in the Aberdeen food court fairly close to the air train station and seating is available further down in the food court; it was pretty packed on a Saturday morning so you have to be ready to share or prepare to square up for a table. BBQ Pork: Perfectly crunchy skin and the pork is moist all the way through. Satisfying chew, but not overcooked at all. Perfect amount of sodium and zero funk that you can sometimes get with pork. The perfect, encyclopedic Chinese bbq pork. BBQ Duck: Super savory and fatty with a bit of sweetness on the skin. Again, super moist (almost juicy dare I say) all the way through. Literally no sauce needed.

Their business is situated in a busy mall and it's more of a take out place vs a sit down restaurant. They also operate as a butcher shop. The workers here are really friendly and I never have issues ordering for someone who doesn't speak Cantonese/Mandarin. I rotate between ordering their roasted pork, soy chicken, and steamed chicken. All are amazing, especially the steamed chicken!! I ordered this by mistake once and didn't realize something so simple could be so delicious. The ginger scallion sauce they provide with it is so good. Everything always tastes fresh. Prices are great too, especially with the US to CAN conversion. Highly recommended!

The pricing is very economical and would even silence my picky grandmother. Perhaps because it is family owned and in a not so busy market place. It offers three categories of products: the regular butcher stuff, sliced and ready to go plates of beef lamb pork etc for hot pot, and marinated sausages and Chinese chacuterie meats. I've only had experience with the regular stuff and I've been very satisfied with the level of quality, service, and price. For instance when I approach the counter the owner is always prompt to greet me and for the pig trotters I always get, he'd give them a further shave and slice them into small pieces for me. I like the variety here and besides the standard burger items, this shop is definitely catered to an Asian kitchen: LongGang free range chicken, duck and chicken feet, various innards, pigs blood, intestine etc. For those into that type of stuff this is good place to find them and for those adventurous chefs open to trying new ingredients, this is a cool stop also. Cheerio!

I hear good things about The Meat Up so came for their AYCE lunch…read more As this was out first time; the server was very patient in explaining which menu we should select and how the process works. There are different tiers for the AYCE, we just selected the Classic ($36.99/person, Mon-Thur all day; Fri-Sat 11am-4pm). For the hot pot, we just go up to the open refrigeration and select our meats and vegetables, and place in the metal pot. We bring the metal pot to the bar/front counter and select a choice of soup. I tried the bone broth (which was just ok) and the tom yum (which was good). The hot pot would be delivered to our table when done. Note, for those we don't want the BBQ meats, they do have a "Magic Pot Special" (Mon-Fri, 11am-4pm) for $25.99/person. For the BBQ meats, we select from our choices and was brought to our table cooked and placed on the hot plate to keep warm. The chicken and beef were excellent and not dry. Salads and other cooked food at the front counter also included. There is free parking out front. The décor is from the old ACB restaurant which brought fond memories from 30 years ago! Restaurant was clean and the neon decoration added a touch of casual/fun atmosphere . Would definitely come back.

For starters, they did not have the diamond tier available and certain items were not available in the gold tier (ie fried rice, spaghetti, tomato dough drop soup and cold noodles). I was slightly disappointed, but we decided on the gold tier. Service was alright. We ordered our food and waited for it to arrive. Our server did not stop by to clear dirty plates until we were about to pay our bill. Skewers and hot pot did taste good for what was available. There was enough variety to keep things interesting. Lastly, I enjoyed not having to cook my food. There were plenty of parking spots available during the weekday lunch hours. Overall, I prefer the Burnaby location more.
