My blood work showed that I had severe Vitamin D and Iron deficiencies that caused me to feel so ill. I got on prescription Vitamin D and Iron and feel 100% better. My mother also had to seek a second opinion after Dr. Rubenstein told her that her chest pain was "in her head". What doctor in his right mind says that to a woman in her fifties with a family history of heart disease? She saw a new doctor who ordered a stress test that showed her corroded artery was completely blocked which explains the chest pain. She's lucky to be alive. Her current doctor has no idea how she is still alive after that. I would advise getting a 2nd opinion.

He has always been patient and eager to help. He helped me to get well, always prescribing necessary OTC and prescription medication. His office staff has been efficient and friendly and prompt with call-backs and more. I am in my 50s now and have seen many physicians over the years, and I can say that Dr. Shen has been one of my best doctors. Please see him! He is very smart, thorough and caring.

I was having a difficult time recovering from the anesthesia. The staff decided to call my family doctor for advice, apparently Dr Edred Shen was on-call. He arrived at my hospital bed, spoke to me for 5 minutes & had zero advice as what to do. He sent me a bill for $225. I submitted it to Medicare & they said it was ineligible to be paid. Edred Shen sent the bill to a Collection Agency his office retains. I sent his office the letter from Medicare, saying service was not eligible to be paid. Edred Shen continues to send Collection Notices. Obviously, he must bill a lot of patients for services that are unnecessary. He has sent the $225. bill to collections!! I have sent him the statement from Medicare, showing he is not entitled to payment

She verified my information and took me in after checking in the next person behind me. The service was fast, efficient and courteous. I do this review because I have been going to various locations of Summit Medical Group for 20+ years and for over 20 years the service has been spectacular. I started with them when my son was about 2 years old at their Short Hills location. I've used theirs Urgent Care, After hour Doctors, internal Medicine, Labs, Radiology, Gynecology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and a host of other specialties. Throughout the years I have had more memorable/pleasant experiences then unpleasant. I hate getting blood drawn and have 1 good, visible vain, but the staff always seem to put be at ease. The young lady today was more than great at her job (Shame on me for not getting her name, but she's been there for a few years), she was very professional and personable; it's because of people like her that Summit Medical Group is such a growing success. She not only provided stellar service, but World Class service. Not to mention the facilities and restrooms are always clean. So if you are seeking A great Medical Practice you may want to look at Summit Medical, they have so mNy locations Morristown, Florham Park, West Orange, Livingston, Berkeley Heights, WestField, Warren and some that I don't even know about, but they have worked for me. Truthfully I've only had 1 unpleasant experience in 20+ years and it's not worth writing about, because in this case the good truly outweighs the bad.

You might think a practice associated with Summit medical group would be of a certain caliber, but…read morethis place has excessive wait times and a terrible parking situation with no accessibility ramp for folks who are unable to use the steps (there is a lift, but a ramp would be helpful) They called my mother before 8am to change her appointment from noon to 9:45am and then she had to wait over an hour and a half to be seen! I had long since abandoned this practice for my medical needs and I'll be encouraging my mother to do the same. I realize these are strange times, but this has been an issue here prior to Covid.
