I didn't feel what so ever at anytime she was rushing the whole time. Karen was/is very professional. The office was very cleaned. I'm very happy with the results. Yes, my eyes still hurts but putting ice pack on both eyes help. I was given a small pouch with cream, Q-tips, and a small empty container. This is the first time ever I am writing a review but I think it is worth to warn others…read more The first time that I called to make an appointment I made it clear that I was going to get married in 4 months. I sent pictures of my eyebrows and asked her to keep the shape of my eyebrows the same, but just to darken them. Then, I went in for my appointment and Karen mentioned that I had too much space between my eyebrows. I insisted that I didn't care because I like the shape of my eyebrows. She recommended that she use a different technique that didn't allow her to map out the shape before starting. Again, I indicated that I didn't want her to change the shape of my eyebrows or extend them. However, that was completely disregarded. As she started to fill in my brows, I felt that she was filling in further than my natural brow and I immediately asked her to stop. She said that she would go back and clean it up with saline later but she wanted me to see how it looked ( keep in mind that this is a tattoo!). Even though I was shocked by my shocking results (see pictures below--I included a "before" picture for context) I was told not to worry about it because the day after the redness would heal and it would look more like my natural brow. They did not heal. I lost 3 days of work because of this. I went in to speak with Karen about my results and it was clear that she was not willing to take responsibility. She continues to state that this was my fault. She recommended that I clean the brows with detergent (please don't ever do this--that is NOT safe!) Initially, she refused to even refund my service. She doesn't have liability insurance which is a red flag for someone who does tattoos. I'm a month out from my wedding and my eyebrows still have not fully healed (pictures below). I followed up with 2 doctors and they could not believe what Karen has done to my eye brows. The mental stress that I have experienced for the last months, added to the physical PERMANENT DAMAGE on my face, unsafe recommendations, disrespectful and blaming communication has been traumatizing. I hope that my review can help others to avoid this awful experience I had.
