Went to get gas, walked up to the entrance and one of the workers was closing the doors stating they have to close down because one of their coworkers called off and they have nobody to work, mind you there are 2 ladies working there and I highly doubt they both came in at the same time and get off at the same time. Ampm do you not have an on call manager that can handle situations like this? They have shut off the pumps and you cant use your atm card. Not good for business. This used to be a great place to stop and get gas and snacks but the past couple years, management had been subpar at best. They don't know what they're doing and they're rude to customers because of it. And they could also use some English lessons, because they don't know the difference between face covering, and Mask. After a few visits, two words: never again. Like the Walmart Neighborhood Market a short drive away, this ARCO and its prices attract plagues of thrifty but rude, ill-mannered customers. On one visit, an SUV stopped several cars away from the nearest pump. Did this deter the driver? Nope. The back doors open and a pair of pre-teen girls leap out and begin prowling the pump islands. A vehicle pulls away and they plant themselves back-to-back in front of the pump, oblivious to the blaring car horns and shouts of "Get the f[udge]k outta the way, you little b[ad girls]tches!" while playing with their smartphones. Then there's the "We were next". If you're driving alone and pull up to a vacated pump, out of nowhere comes two or more individuals claiming they were on the property before you but were in the store or had to take the kids to the restroom or were on the phone with the babysitter or some other lame excuse. Not worth it when you're outnumbered by blatant liars who appear likely to pull a knife or a gun on you. During less-busy hours you have to fend off a nonstop parade of panhandlers and contrived hard-luck stories. Can't you people be more original than the worn out often-told "I'm stranded in town on the way home from visiting Mom in the hospital"? And if you can afford that Fordillac Escascursion, you can't afford to feed it? Gimme a break. The card readers on the pumps rarely work, probably due to regular visits from the same cyber-gang that locks up the self-service checkouts at the aforementioned Walmart. Add to that the vehicular overflow that backs up into both southbound Riverside Avenue and Easton Street in both directions, and the overall experience is only slightly less pleasant than being stuck in downtown traffic on a bus full of loud smelly people. For a few cents more per gallon, I'll take the uncrowded convenience of the nearest USA station. Same company (Tesoro), same gasoline, no debit card fee and they accept all major credit cards. read more

This gas station always has something wrong with the pumps or the ability to take a payment at the pump. It seems that at least once a week the pay at the pump option is out of service which causes a long line inside the store. Some of the employees are ok, but most of them are rude. I am no longer going to go to this gas station, I would rather pay more and go to a place that has functioning pumps, payment machines, and employees that will at least say "Hi". The only reason why this place is still in business is because it has a great location which makes it convenient. Another thing that I HATE about this location (this part is not the gas stations fault) is that too many "ghetto" people go there and think that everyone wants to listen to their crappy music with their crappy stereo. This place is always packed. Which is good for business but bad for traffic. I would give it 5 stars but it's so difficult to get in and out of this place without frustration. Don't get me wrong, the service is great, the place is clean and the gas is inexpensive, but it's on the wrong corner. You can't get in on Riverside if you're traveling north, and if you want to exit on Riverside you have to make a right. It's hit or miss if you're exiting on Easton. You might have to make a right and hope there isn't incoming traffic to bust a U. If you have to absolutely come here go for it, just know that it's hard to get a pump. read more

This arco has one thing going for it- its the only gas station in the area. Just off the Riverside Ave 210 exit, its a prime location for drivers to stop and fill up. The intersection has really flourished in the past 5 years, there are now fast food places like Jack in the Box, In and Out and Starbucks on the same thorough way. Its very fortunate for this business that its one of 3 gas stations in Rialto, centrally located for easy access by residents and travelers. That's the ONLY THING going for this place. Overpriced fuel, with deceptive prices. The low prices listed outside are only valid if you include a 7 dollar car wash with the purchase of gasoline, but you have to read the very small fine print for that pertinent fact. Without the purchase of a car wash you are going to pay 20 to 30 cents more per gallon. The kiosks and self service pumps are in bad repair, there are mechanical issues with the ATM's that make them unsafe for consumers. DON'T USE YOUR PIN AT THIS PLACE. The threat of having your personal info stolen is hardly a consideration if you have to go in and deal with the staff. I feel for these workers, they make very little money and have to deal with a store that isn't equipped for the business it receives. But if you happen to be on your way to work and grabbing a quick cup of coffee and some gas, forget being on time. Someone purchasing a lottery ticket will hold up an already long line for far longer than it takes to drive down the way for a better cup of coffee or the time it would take to just brew your own. The people who work at this station seem to be clueless, like they arent given proper training on how to use basic implements like the cash register. Staff incompetence is a consistent issue- it takes far too long to complete even the most basic transaction. Whether this is an ampm issue or just a human resources problem, I couldn't say. But staff incompetence is dependable. This business needs new management or a different franchise. This place is disgraceful, and Rialto government needs to add some competition to the area. The employees are terrible. There's a Hispanic and black female employee that we're very rude and they were giving me attitude. They tried fight me because I told them they're customer service was terrible. Every time I've gone here the black female has given attitude to every customer. I asked to speak to the manager and he didn't do anything about what his employees had done. I will never go here again. read more

It's 3 AM and I'm on a long road trip alone. I pick this gas station because it's got lots of customers and bright lights. I spend $30 on gas and walk in to use the restroom. Both men's and women's restrooms are locked and have maintenance signs up. I said hi to the clerk and asked him if they had an open restroom. First he says "no... they're closed for maintenance." I said, "Wow, both at the same time? That's a huge bummer." Then he tells me "Yeah, well, the manager says we gotta close them at night from 9p to 5a. You have to go to Jack in the Box." Arco, you just lost a good clean customer. I'll be spending my $200 gas budget for this trip elsewhere. Way to keep your young women customers feeling safe and welcome. So I work in customer service and realize customers can be a big pain in the ass therefore have never taken a bad experience to heart. That being said, this place ABSOLUTELY deserves the one star that it is rated. This Arco/AMPM gas station is the closest to my house but I don't really care for the gas so I go to Chevron across the freeway. Also no one working at this location ever seems very happy or courteous. A couple of weeks ago I was exiting the freeway with my mom and my low tire pressure light came on so I pull in and park at the air pump as the entrance of the gas station is right next to the exit. My tire was low and I wondered why the warning light hadn't come on earlier. Also had below a quarter of a tank so had every intention on also pumping gas as I was already there. Walked inside and waited patiently and asked the attendant if he would turn on the air for me and he asked kind of rudely if I had paid for my gas yet. Answered I had pulled to the air and needed to fill my tire and I was going to be pumping gas afterward. He then very rudely told me he wasn't turning it on until I pumped gas and called the next customer. I have used the air machine here two or three times over the past four or five years without pumping and have never had an issue. Don't know if this guy had a bad day but if I were to speak to a customer half as rude as this dude was to me, I'd be fired on the spot. Employees here seem to have very low morale and it reflects in their demeanor. I will not be going back to this gas station ever and will tell everyone I know to go to the Chevron or 7-11 both near by and both with way better customer service. read more

M. BOOKER I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO THE ARCO AMPM BRAND. UNITL I ENCOUNTER A DRIVE THROUGH CARWASH SITUATION AT THIS AMPM. On Friday the 6th at about 10:05 pm I ended up at this arco/ampm. I was there just to get some gas, but I decided to get a carwash to, man what was I thinking. While I was at the gas pump I used my debit card and chose a carwash selection, at this point I thought my receipt was coming out but it didn't. The cashier was polite. I explained that I paid for a carwash also but NO receipt came out. She printed one up, showing me the carwash code and stated have a good day. while in the carwash I drove pass the green light which made the buzzer come on (its loud) i back up which the symbol told me to do. Than the carwash started ,but rather than the water rinsing my car off first, it messed up a cycle and started swiping my car altogether. (SO LETS DO THE MATH IF YOUR CAR IS DIRTY AND SOMEONE SPRINKLES/ SWIPES YOUR CAR AT THE SAME TIME WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR CLEAR COAT/PAINT). Now after pulling out, I parked and looked at my car hopping for the best. MAN when I seen my car I was upset, there were lines from my hood all the way back to my truck. I thought I was going to need a paint job. Now before I went inside the station to get help on this situation (yes I had to calm my self all the way down knowing it was an accident). Inside the station I met with one service worker who was also polite his name was Dap. He came outside and look at my car. Dap showed concern because what we were both looking at, just doesn't happen. I told dap I wasn't mad, things happen. I also told him I hope your boss can fix this. Dap OFFERED ME MY MONEY BACK which was a nice gesture, but i DECLINED that offer know that there was more toward fixing this problem than a refund. I started to take picture of the damage, but my camera wasn't good ENOUGH to cover the hole car like his phone was. Dap took a video, and attempt to send me a copy but send a picture of the damage, while sharing there policy on how they handle this situation. I left all my information there with him= phone number full name , and they have a picture of my car through the camera in the carwash with daps picture and video. 2 day later I received a voice mail from the ARCO ampm manager by the name of Pardeep stating she would like all my information again with a picture (kind of sketchy to me but what every help) so I send it. Now I know that rep Dap show her the video and gave her my information. Manager Pardeep wanted to see my car which was totally fine, so we arranged to meet the next day. This situation happen at 1006pm, she want to meet a 7am which I showed up. I drove 49miles in an attempt to resolve this situation and when I politely introduce myself by shaking her hand I can already tell she didn't expect me to show up. I showed her my car the first thing she stated was I don't see any damage. I politely asked her if she could look at my car at night, because theirs not enough sun to see all these spider webs all over my car. Her answer was NO I don't have time. Than manager pardeep stated were not responsible for the damages, and its AT YOUR OWN RISK. I pleaded with this manager that all I WANTED IS MY CAR REPAIRED, NO MONEY JUST MY CAR. I even suggested she can send it to anyone that can repair it. She stated once again theirs a sign post before you drive in. I looked at the sign again, and IT DOESN'T SAY THAT AT ALL. At this point I started to get frustrated I asked for her name and the owners name. While driving back I called the ARCO CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPLAINT LINE TO REPORT THIS AMPM SITAUTION. I was given a 6 number case number, and told that there service is to reach out to the manager so they can try and resolve any situation. The rep than advised me to give about 2-3 day if I don't hear back feel free to contact us again. THING HAPPEN I GET THAT. WHEN YOU OWN A BUSINESS AND WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND YOU KNOW ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. I TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE. ARCO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM HERE. read more

on Tuesday, June 26 I stopped at the a.m. p.m. my motorcycle was out of gas and I went to the register where the gentleman was backed up and when I did get to the register he threw a fit because I had change that I was paying with how the total attitude a Latino gentleman he showed profanity at me then after I counted my change and went out to pump my gas he would turn the pump on so I went back in and ask him if he was gonna turn the pump on and he said only if you apologize to me I said I'm not going to apologize you don't you know the customer is always right fool anyway he shouted more profanity and I ended up having to go to the closest gas station across the freeway barely made it whoever is the manager of the station needs to get rid of that little gentleman employees like that give AMP of a bad name anyway life goes on whoever the manager is they need to terminate him read more

Every single time I've been to this arco I've had a horrible experience , I live just up the street and I'm glad they've built the chevron by Walgreens now because I've been going there and it's a HUGE difference. Aside from a couple of them the majority of the workers here are extremely rude , the manager (the Indian guy) is the most rude of all, they always have technical difficulties, they have a giant sign saying their air and water is not free which is bs because legally it's supposed to be free , you only pay the quarters if you don't wanna walk in to ask them to turn it on. My tires needed air so I went to this arco (against my better judgement) I asked 4TIMES d they could turn on the air all 4 times they said ok and never turned it on, went to the chevron up the street and they were more than happy to accommodate and help. Never going to this arco again, chevron has my business now and I'm telling everyone I know to go to the chevron, it may be a little more expensive but it's worth it! This arco needs a chance of management or just needs to be shut down completely. read more

Deceptive advertising. On 02-04-2012, street sign advertises $2.29/gallon for EC Unleaded, but price at pump shows $2.69/gallon for EC Unleaded. Attemdant told me street sign says "with car wash pricing". I had to go out to th street, three feet from the sign, to see it. The verbiage is pasted over a section that originally just said "car wash". The original sign is back-lit, so when I went there at night, all that was visible was the original "car wash" section, becasue it was lit up even through the new wording. I suspect that during the day the sign is just as hard to read, because the words are small & would be hard to read when you're driving by. I've also had someone tell me they've had problems with incorrect charges on her ATM card there, with the company charging a very large amount ($300) to cover the fillup, then refunding the difference after the transaction was complete, leading to overdraft fees because the $300 charge overdrew her account. read more

I purchased oil at this Arco 12/26/15 as well as a tank of gas. When I got back to my car I realized I purchased the wrong kind. I walked back in and asked if I could exchange it for the correct viscosity. The employee there emphatically told me that I couldnt exchange it. That's pretty ridiculous! I literally walked out and back in with it. I left it there for anyone who could use it since I can't. For the $7 they took from me I could have bought better gas at another station! read more
