*zero stars* (update monday nov.10 3:45am) i purchased $91 in gasoline first! as i'm inside warming up my food that i'm going to purchase, i grabbed four napkins and a small cup of jalapenos from the stand. the worker then proceeded to come from behind the counter yelling my face cussed at me and told me to leave and that the condiments are for customers only. 1- i had purchased $91 in gasoline and had food warming up in the microwave for purchase 2-aren't the condiments there for the food? 3- he was very hostile extremely aggressive cussed at me yelled in my face to the point where i could feel spit hit my body and my face this is how angry he was. this is the type of attitude and demeanor that this arco employees and this is completely unprofessional. i was so scared that i almost called the police i thought he was going to assault me he kept raising his hands towards my face. i'm considering making a police report and will keep this updated! horrible attitude from this employee i seriously thought he was going to assault me. he should be fired for these actions. horrible ambiance. read more

I have gone periodically here due to poor service. I never use my debit card and always need help bypassing to use credit. This time the guy asked for my card and ID, went to another computer, scanned my cards, then told me his computer wasn't working and pointed at the monitor which clearly needed to be turned on. He said I'd have to use my debit card. I will never set foot in this place again. No need as there are plenty of other places around. read more

What can you expect when this location already gets only 2 out of 5 stars ! The upside is there is more parking than the am pm nearby, but the downside is their employees - including their managers - have the world's worst customer service, so bad it's scary. It makes you wonder how companies like Disney and In N Out do it because their customer service is amazing. AM PM's is a horror show. Shop at your own risk here. My most recent experience played out like a Hollywood horror script: the situation started as hopeful, then the inciting incident hit - trying to claim a free reward in the app - and everything went to hell quickly. It resulted in a climax filled with hate, anger and venom spewed out to me from the manager. BUT - these events are not just based on a true story, they ARE a true story ! Synopsis: the Dodgers stole a base last night at Dodger Stadium, and AM PM gives a free hot dog and slim can 12 ounce Coke product as a promotion when the Dodgers steal a base at home. But at the counter, they wanted to charge me $.88 I asked politely if this was correct and showed the employee the reward in my app - which is really a regional ongoing promotion of AM PM's they even run TV and radio ads for. They said it was for taxes and crv but i know this isn't true because other locations honor the deal for free just like the ad says. Also, the manager was just trying to move me along and didn't add it up: sales tax and crv would have been closer to $.40 but an evil nemesis in a good story don't care about logic, they are here to scare and entertain ! I didn't want to make a big deal out of $.88 but before I could even consider it, the employee said, "you would have paid about $4 instead you're getting it for $.88 that's a deal." I hesitated, pointing out that this isn't how the deal works or how AM PM does business and then the manager chimed in saying "Look", he sneered coldly at me through his magnifying spectacles, "this is the deal: either you pay the $.88 or never come here again." Whaaaaat?!! Who does this?? Was this some kind of threat I wondered as I cast a furtive glance about the store. I asked his name, he wouldn't give it to me; he intimidatingly reiterated his terms (think the way some evil mafia movie don or scary Marvel antagonist would say it), and then his henchmen and women, the two female employees working, started yelling "bye!!" And "leave!" At me. All this for me - politely in the beginning I might ad - simply responding to AM PM marketing about using their app. In the shadow of the nearby Universal Studios' Hollywood Horror Nights (although this experience was in the spring), perhaps their unbelievably scary and demented "customer service" might fit in.... But in the reality of every day life, save your horrific experiences for Netflix and Amazon and avoid this hostile, horror show of a location....gulp! before it's too late !! read more

Easy location right off the South 101 Freeway Lankershim off ramp! Recently remodeled the inside am/pm. Easy to navigate thru the snacks and beverages. Pumps are clean and I love the hand sanitizers next to them. Why doesn't every gas station have these!! Remember Arco charges about $.35 fee for debit card gas but the overall price per gallon us usually cheaper than the average gas station so it's hardly noticeable. Air machine works and has a psi gauge so that's helpful. Be sure to ask the am/pm cashier to turn it on so you don't pay. read more

worst gas station ever, I live close and I am here all the time --- the dude working there graveyard is on some BS real talk I hope the owner or manager or someone sees this and fires the half ass excuse for an employee that for some reason is ALWAYS there. Best Gas Station in LA! - though get your bathroom fixed :) The only reason you guys didn't get a 5 stars is because your bathroom was broken the last time i came there and that is not a good sign guys. Overall this is the best go-to for gas prices usually having one of the lowest in the valley area, and close to the 101N and 101S. Not to mention they do have a pretty awesome hotdog area for hotdog building and condiments. People here are friendly, story is a solid 8 on cleanliness, and while i speak of the hotdogs here they are really pretty amazing while stopping in for gas here. Right around the corner from an In and Out as well if you need that fast food action instead. read more

I really wanted to love this station but the guy in the night shift is an Ahole. I think I had to do w race but I'm not positive. When I approached the register he never looked at me or stopped his personal conversation w his co-worker. Once he'd rung up my purchases w/out making eye contact, I asked for something beyond the counter. He rang that up & kept taking. Never once did he give me a total. I said "nothing is showing on the screen." He said insert your chip. (Nevermind that I'm holding cash in my hand but he'd have to have looked at me to notice). I said " the screen is broken." After he told me to insert my chip again, I said - "you haven't even told me how much it costs. I'm paying in cash but you aren't even paying attention." I don't entirely understand the problem of the location Manager here. But I just had a friend who was in car accident. We parked in the store parking lot to assess and to check on her and without even asking the situation, told us we would be towed. That's AFTER we've already purchased from them TWICE. When ever the owner is there, he is very friendly and gives me something free every once in a while. You can tell management keeps their employees busy because the store is always spotless. And for the people that complain about the .35 cents, that makes no sense. It's every arco not just this location. Same for the credit cards. This is actually the only location where I can use credit for in store purchases. Yes, the purchase has to be over $16.35 but there is always so many deals so I'm always well over $16 every time. read more

I am an Uber driver and am/pm's are supposed to be open so you could use the bathrooms or get coffee but every time I come here there bathroom is closed for maintenance and they never have coffee. The staff is mediocre at best. If it wasn't for the gas price I would never come here. If you want to use the bathroom or want coffee be forewarned that it's a 50/50 long shot. read more

I have been a patron of Arco AMPM on Cahuenga in Studio City for over a decade. After prepaying my gas, I was unable to pump because a patron wa pulled too far for the pump to reach. I asked him politely to back up as he wa done and he starting yelling at me. I put the hose back and went inside to ask if they would reset. Employee Jesus supposedly reset but it didn't work. The patron again yelling at me for asking him to back up so I could pump began cursing and threw a full glass of onto my windshield. I went back in asking if they had something I could clean my windshield with and Jesus pointed to a container of napkins. I asked again if he would please reset the gas if paid for and he refused, walking into the back room. A lovely co-worker offered to do it and by this time I'd had it and will never return. I have left word in this Arco's voicemail, and will tweet this issue as well as filing a claim with the better business bureau. Our works today is volatile. One should have to face it at a regular vendor. Just terrible. read more

I am currently sitting in the lot at Arco. I was on my way to work & decided to stop in and get a RockStar. Now my car won't start so I called a tow truck. Some guy comes out & says "ma'am this is 10 min parking only". I told him my car won't start & the next thing out of his mouth is "well it's 10 mins" I said "are you kidding me right now?" He says "is someone coming?" I said yes! A tow truck! And shut the door in his face. Seriously?! I come here often since moving to Studio City a few months ago. I like going to Arco stations because of the consistently cheap prices but this one I've decided I probably won't go to anymore. I'm a Lyft driver and I work late nights. The past two times I've stopped here have been disappointing. The first time I remember thinking this was a terrible station, I was parked across the street taking a break and I saw the overnight maintenance guy who uses a leaf blower to clear the property intentionally blow plastic trash into the street. I thought it was incredibly irresponsible and it wouldn't have taken him much more effort to just pick up the few pieces of trash but he chose to blow them into the street. As for tonight, where do I begin? I came to the Arco on Cahuenga to fill up my tank, to use the restroom, and to clean my windows. As I walked up to the building, there was a homeless man standing right at the front door yelling obscenities at people at the as they walked in. I guess that's not really Arcos fault. It was just quite unsettling. I was however upset to see an out of order sign in front of the bathroom. Still needing to pee I went back outside and decided to wash my windows. Two out of the three window squeegees for broken and although the cleaning solution look like it had just been topped off, it smelled like sewage. And just in case anyone thinks otherwise, yes I tried all three window stations All three smells like sewage. Two strikes down and I thought whatever I'll just get gas and go to another station to take care of everything else. I go to put my card into the pump and the pump isn't working. it was the final straw and I literally just had to leave I was so upset. And then of course I pulled over to write a Yelp review. I thought about bringing up my concerns to the person working behind the counter but none of this is probably their fault and hopefully management will see this review and do something to fix these problems. read more

I pulled over to get gas but just wanted to finish eating before I got my hands dirty. Employee comes and tells me to leave parking space and as I'm explaining to him the only reason I stopped to park here was to get gas. Instead of listening he used his boss as his excuse to tell me he couldn't let me finish. If I wasn't getting gas I wouldn't have pulled over. I left and went to chevron paid more finished eating and got gas just because the customer service is better and no one was going to creep up to my car and tell me to leave. This particular ampm I love it since there always plenty parking, because it's very restricted, some people complaint because of it but I don't mind because I use for what it is. Also it's always fully stocked with the best selection, always in stock, cashiers talk to you, unlike other places where only take your money and they barely says thank you.
