Went inside to pay for gas. I wanted to purchase a drink naturally at the same time. Went to the counter with my rockstar. Placed the cab right in front of her. This nice young lady charged me for the gas. So I thought. But didn't did the drink. I asked her if see charged the drink or not. She said no. Left. Went out side. Turned around and went inside and waited in line to get my receipt. A different lady was able to print my receipt. But I got my so gas. So I was ok. No drink but I'll just go fill my tank. So I thought. Went to the pump. Not working. Try several times. Go back inside again. Tell her the pump not working. She thinks I'm stealing gas. Or something. Doesn't believe me. Then cancels the purchase and give me the receipt for no gas purchased. Waste of time. I wish people would just focus a little bit more when doing their job when it involves getting information from a customer in order to do their job correctly. For example. listening to a customer state the pump number and the amount and take the rockstar can and scan it and charge the customer according. Gee wiz. read more

Since Chevon across the way has been converted to a 76 station and charges $.12 cents or more per gallon, I purchased my gas at this 12 pump AM/PM station. No credit cards accepted for gas purchases. Debit cards are accepted with a one time $.35 fee added to the transaction total. The setup of this gas station is very difficult. There are 3 pumps in a row that are gathered too close together. It makes the access to the middle pump very inconvenient if you have a large vehicle. A major plus for this gas station is that they have a mini mart, it is close to the freeway, and the lowest gas prices around the area. read more

Its been years since I've been here. I never filled my tank here but I used to stop by for AMPM's vanilla soft serve in waffle cone for $1.09~!! Its been long gone, and although they repeatedly have cheaper gas & open pumps versus Chevron, I prefer my techron. Anyways,, I stopped by today to refill my rental tank (regular was 3 cents cheaper than next-door). But have cash on hand!! There's an annoying 45cent charge for credit/ATM use. Also, you gotta use the pay station, and only every other accepts cash. Plus, you gotta go inside the AMPM to collect your change from the cashier. I ended up lining up (albeit just 1person) twice this morning! Still gotta give them credit for cheapest gas in the area, spacious, well lit, never as crowded as Chevron, and of course the fully stocked AM PM. I woke up this morning in an extremely generous mood. So before work, I decided to stop by AM PM to buy my friend/co-worker Michelle T. a drink she introduced to me not long ago called Melon Dulce. This drink is sold exclusively at AM PM and is amazing. I looked at my watch and realized that I'd be late to work, but I thought to myself, "I know Michelle would really appreciate it if I buy her this drink, so what the heck." I get two Melon Dulces (with crushed ice) and hop on the dreaded 91. I stroll into work half an hour late, but I don't care because I'm excited to see the look on Michelle's face when I surprise her with this drink. I give her the drink, and to my astonishment, she tells me, "Reid, I can't believe you got me this! Why would you do that to me? I hate you!" Um, you're welcome? Apparently she's been on this crazy all vegetable diet and claims that this drink has too much sugar and she can't have any. I'm not worried; I know I can give it to Eugine because he loves to get his drink on. He tries it and tells me it's just "aight" and that it's too sweet. WTF Guch? We then insult each other a couple times, make some rude remarks, and then he walks back to his desk. One gripe I have about this AM PM is that they don't accept credit cards. That's one reason I almost never fill up gas here. I usually frequent this place because their 18 packs of beer almost always go for $12.99. I like that consistency, unlike supermarkets where prices vary by week. I also come here for some quick food after a long outing at Cliff's Hideaway. The guys that work here are pretty cool and always nice. This place is better than the Chevron right next door and way less crowded. If you do grab a Melon dulce from here, be sure to put a whole bunch of that awesome crushed ice to water it down a bit, because maybe it is a little on the sweet side. Pros: Generally less traffic and cheaper than the Chevron across the street. Unless your car is super old or super sensitive to everything (and you paid a premium to have it THAT fragile), it really doesn't matter where you get your gas from. Cons: Something's always broken somewhere. Doesn't accept credit at all. Debit system is occasionally down, especially late at night. Cash machines are occasionally down, especially when you only have cash on you. The people are pretty friendly inside the AMPM and they're pretty well stocked, however the automotive section lacks heavily compared to any other gas station. Pump #6 hates me. Good luck. Also, does anyone else see the contradiction in that AMPM commercial that starts off saying "You can never have too much good stuff," yet in the end it repeats its classic slogan, "AMPM: Too much good stuff?" read more

I am not a fan of Arco AM PM stores. Stopped here for gasoline though. I had a car rental so I just wanted the cheapest gasoline. Arco fit the bill perfectly. Not a fan of Arco, but if you want really cheap gasoline this is the place to go. read more

I like to come here to fill up my tank because this place usually has the cheapest price around my area and is next to the 91 freeways. However, I don't like coming here that much anymore because of the fact the male employees creep me the f*ck out. Their stares tend to linger a little too long with perversion. Especially the Indian guy and the Hispanic man.... last time I had to prepay inside as the cash machine was not working (no surprise there~) When I tried to select the grade nothing happened, I began to doubt myself and wondered if I had told them the wrong stall number. I mosied back in and asked what number I had requested, when I told them it wasn't allowing me to choose the grade, the older Hispanic man insisted to come out and help me. That was nice of him and I appreciated it, however what I didn't appreciate was him lurking around after the problem was solved to stare at me and make small talk even after giving him the cue to leave. Instead he proceeded to ask me for my number which I declined stating I had a boyfriend. To my surprise he continued to insist that I give him my number to "just talk"... I could feel the bitch in me about to rip his ass a new one from irritation. Afterwards he insisted that I take down his number which I then again declined. I must say he was very persistent, but I'm more persistent than him. I know, one day when I'm old, flabby and wrinkly, I'll appreciate perverted stares a bit more and be flattered by these types of behaviors. However, no one at whatever age appreciates creepy vibes. Thankfully they replaced the old cash machines and replaced them with new snazzy cash/credit payment machines yesterday, so hopefully I wont have to go inside to pay anymore. read more

Horrible service specially at night time. I bought 79cents drink and put rest of them in gas with 20dollars. Gas only filled 18.26 dollars so I asked the worker(old white guy) dollar was short so let him add dollar to the machine. He was smoking outside and suddenly acting rude that I was making mistake. He thought I couldn't do the math and talking shit on my back. After he found out he did make the mistake and he just said it's only a dollar and said whatever and still being rude and impolite. I understand he is quite old and I am not being offensive to old people but I know dollar can be nothing, still I am the customer even if I may made mistake, he shouldn't behave like that. I don't gas up my Princess with Arco gas just because she deserves better =P. I come here for AmPm. I guess depending on what time of day and what day you get here it can get really busy. Even if there are two attendants working the register the line can get a bit long in the mornings during the weekdays. When I need a good cup of joe I come here. I don't know what it is but their coffee is YUMMY!!! I always get the french vanilla flavor and also put french vanilla creamer to add more of the flavor. I like my coffee sweet but not too sweet. I just try to mask the bitter taste of the coffee itself. It's better than some flavors they have at Starbucks. Just my opinion. The 91 freeway is close by so if you're in a hurry and need to get some good coffee you should stop by and get some here. It's located on the Northwest corner of Orangethorpe and Walker. read more

Probably one of the cheapest gas stations in the area, this location is convenient to freeways and also almost NEVER busy. There are several pumps for everyone to freely drive up to and gas their automobiles. As well as the pay stations which make your gassing experience even quicker. On to the store itself. It's clean and has everything any and most AM PM's would have. The workers can seem a bit "odd" and even "creepy" at times, but they're still nice. Overall I would much rather frequent this Arco then any other gas stations in the area. Especially not the Chevron across the street, but that's a whole other review. read more

Work in the neighborhood and have been stopping here for years, often twice a day, to get a soda refill and a newspaper. This afternoon I needed to buy 4 bottles of soda and today had to use a debit card. Forgot to ask for a bag before I ran my card and didnt have a dime. Asked the clerk if I could owe him and was met with a "no way" look. So I left the store and rifled through my car until I found the 10 cents. I returned to the store and paid for the bag. I admire the discipline and steadfastness of the business but I won't be back. read more

Close to the freeway and excellent customer service the employee I think his name was Eddie is by far the best employee there he always very courteous with everyone and looks like tries his best to get the line moving quickly as possible and solves problems quickly and professionally . The other Hispanic employees are not as helpful and seem like they don't know what their doing when you tell them you have a problem with the pump or need help but all in all their all nice and I would recommend coming here to fill up for the great gas prices and great atmosphere .
