Hey Yelp friends! I have to say that I probably go to this gas station more than any other when I am in town, because It has the best prices and it is located between my house and the 95 freeway. I even feel safe to go at night because it is so lit up and I feel visible when I'm there. They have music playing and I can just use my card and I don't have to go inside if I don't need to. They have Lotsa pumps and especially in the summer time, in the heat, it's nice to go at night to fill up. The perk is the car wash and the convenience store inside. They are super friendly and the service is helpful. I like to get a big drink their or road trip snacks, too. So check out this location. I recommend it. read more

BIZZ is disrespectful, sexist, & racist & ADAM (manager) are very rude ! I've been coming here for over 6 years and never had an issue till BIZZ wanted to call me a bitch and racial slurs to my brother who is white because he was too busy mopping and threw a fit because the floor is wet! turned away several people for gas / snacks because we need to wait on him to be done mopping and we can wait till the floor is dry! When I stated I've been at work all day we shouldn't have to wait when he seen us walking in and continued mopping the whole floor stopping us from getting to the whole side that has the snacks and drinks he stated "well bitch I just got here and have to be here till 6am so you can fucking wait" I said excuse me! & he started telling us to get the fuck out he refuses our services, refused to give me his managers information & corp information stating he doesn't have to do shit. When I called to file a complaint ADAM stated "well no one gets disrespectful unless they are disrespected first so" when I asked for his managers information he stated he doesn't have one and corporate information is on the door I said okay can you give it to me he stated no it's on the door I said exactly so it's easy instead of me driving up there so I stated if I don't get the information the complaint will now be against him and BIZZ he kept saying yeah yeah yeah. I went in and wanted to get 3 Monster Energy drinks for $6 as posted on the shelf. When I got to the register it came up differently. I hadn't noticed that the price mentioned "App." The manager took time off his busy scehedule to use his smart phone with the app to give me the discount! Excellent Service in a Very Clean store! I noticed when I was leaving the same manager letting in teens from the nearby high school a few at a time. He still managed to be professional and courteous! I would HIRE a manager like him! We love this gas station! The employees are always friendly, greeting you and even asking how your day is going. When they are busy not as much small talk but that's understandable. They always have deals on drinks and snacks! They also have the cheapest gas prices around us, there car wash is reasonably priced as well and does a good job getting your car clean! The outside and inside is usually really clean and they take out trash often it's never overflowing or pulling out. read more

My mother and I came to this Arco on June 28 at about 11 PM to fill up our tank, get energy drinks, and snacks for our road trip. After we got gas, we went inside to pick out what we wanted and as we're walking around the isles, the cashier approaches us very aggressively and says he has the right to be suspicious because we have large purses. Our purses were average size, it's not like they were backpacks or giant purses. He proceeded to follow us around the store insinuating we were stealing and putting things in our purses telling us he was watching us. We said okay check our purses we just bought $40 in gas, We don't have any reason to come in the store and steel $10 in snacks. My mom and I proceeded to walk around the store to find what we wanted as I'm talking to her I'm saying I live in a half $1 million house around the corner, I'm a local business owner that owns boutique across the street from the Boulevard Mall. My bills and my rent at my store. Probably cost three times what this guy makes. You're taking your minimum wage job way too seriously dude. Last time that I checked, I don't look like a crackhead or a homeless person neither does my 53 year old mother. We literally did nothing wrong. We wanted to get more items, but his aggressiveness was making us so uncomfortable we decided to just get what we had in our hands and leave. Once we got up to the register, I opened my bag and sarcastically said here look I'm not stealing anything. Do you want me to dump it out? because I was upset. He said no, then I walked out flipping the bird. After I walked out, my mom told me she asked him the same thing opened her bag saying look nobody took anything. He refused to check her purse, snatched all the items we wanted to buy, walked away and told her to get out. I was upset so I walked back in and demanded to talk to a manager and he proceeded to say we should've left our purses in the car and that he's calling the cops. I can't believe you would call the cops over something so ridiculous. If you're dealing with drug addicts and homeless people stealing things from your store, is that the kind of place that women by themselves should feel comfortable walking outside at night with just a wallet in their hand? Absolutely not I feel safer with a purse that I can have a better grip on that's not as easy to snatch off my arm. I understand if you have a policy to not have large purses and backpacks, because of increased stealing but have it clearly posted on the door and when someone walks in, ask them to leave their bag at the front or take it back to the car not aggressively harass them while they're trying to shop. it's as Simple as being respectful, which he was not. I admit I got heated and was yelling but how do you expect somebody to react when you're being aggressive? Two women against a dude following us around the store. Absolutely unacceptable. We will NEVER be coming to the Arco again. It's unfortunate because we have spent a lot of money there in the years we've lived in this neighborhood. We ended up going to 7-Eleven and getting $30 in snacks that were way cheaper anyways. Arco lost out on our business tonight and forever because your staff is so poorly trained and bad with people. When he said SHE needs to "find the guy" and that "the guy" was in the back, she ignored him and motioned for the next customer. Stay away from pump 5 or better stay away from this gas station. I paid cash and no gas came out when I came back to get my money back the cashier said I had to come back in the morning at 6am. It was at 4pm. Why is there no manager for a 24 hour store.. so sketchy. When I came back in the morning the manager said he have to look back in the camera and look in report for overage. It's been 3 days and still I have not got my $40 back. This is no joke losing 40 dollars with gas prices today. The staff is incompetent and what a nightmare experience. I was robbed with my $40. For whatever reason the employees here think their shit don't stink. They have zero concept of the old idea that the customer is always right. They would argue with you for half the day if you allowed them to (even though you have two engineering degrees and just might know what you're talking about). If you can, I would skip this gas station and go to the next because who needs to be insulted? Who needs to pay their extremely high prices just to be treated like a non-customer? Who needs it? My opinion of this location has gotten much higher since when they first opened. They accept debit cards at the pump, and there was a note on the pump this week saying that credit cards are being accepted inside for a short time. Not sure exactly how long that will be though. I needed a car wash, and decided to try the one here. I was able to pay a the pump for my car wash. When the receipt printed, there was a code at the bottom for thewash. The code is good for 7 days after purchase. I drove up to the car wash, and there were no instructions on how to enter the code from your receipt. There was only the option to purchase a wash. I decided to just punch in the numbers from my receipt onto the keypad, and it worked. They have you wait for an attendant, who guides your car into the wash. The attendant then walks around your car and sprays it down before actually entering the wash. At the end of the wash, someone is there to towel dry your car. I chose not to have them dry mine, as I pull mine around the corner and dry and detail it myself. Nice option though. The gas prices here are reasonable, and the access into and out of this gas station is fairly easy depending on traffic. read more

I come here several times a month for the car wash. I've Never had any issue, the workers at the car was are always nice. This time I came and the free vacuums were not on. This is a first for me. So, I went inside the ARCO and asked the cashier Sam where do I get the token for the vacuums. She rolls here eyes and had a very bad attitude saying you need to ask the car wash people, we don't have them in here. I said ok, I didn't know they are usually always on. Still with an attitude she says we don't have anything to do with that and then her very old cashier friend wanted to add in with an attitude that I needed to ask the car wash people for the coin. She was rude, made us wait while she pretended to do stuff, and then we had to ask for a bag for our multiple items. The items were right next to her so we had to reach forward to grab them. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day I go to this location. I can't seem to get a cup of coffee. The first time they had extra caffeinated and decaf. They refused to make fresh regular coffee. The second time, all the carafes were empty. The third time, I requested coffee to be made and she was reluctant because "it's a waste"...its a shame because this location is so conveniently located near my house. I just want coffee. read more

Not even worth one star. The car wash is always out of soap or has a different employee everytime I go. There used to be a great kid working there that was fast and very detailed and super courteous. I wonder where he went. Today, I spent $80 here for cigarettes and a car wash and they charged me $0.35 to use my credit card anyway. The wash was out of soap so I got a refund. Then, I went to use the free vacuums that they advertise and they were turned off. My wife called the number on the receipt and they guy that answered (presumably the owner) demanded to know where she got the number. She said that it's on the receipt and he said that's not true. She replied that it's on the receipt and that all she wants is for someone to turn on the vacuums. He quickly told her to go to hell and hung up. This is the same type of attitude we have received when calling them in the past just to get a carwash attendant to come to the carwash. I don't know if this business is just a way to clean dirty money or if they have a goal of going out of business. Either way, we will NEVER spend a nickel there again and I recommend you make the same choice unless you want to be regarded as a beggar in the event that an issue arises. I really like how convenient the location is for me to get gas and a quick car wash in the evening on my way home from work. They also sell cookies that are baked on site and they are cheap and delicious. There is also a Teriyaki Madness and a great little taco place in the same parking lot. Horrible customer service. I was trying to make a purchase this morning at 4:30 on my way to work and the employee was sitting behind the counter rocking back and forth with his eyes closed like rainman. I tried twice to get his attention but was ignored. I have never seen anything like this and neither did the other five guys waiting in line. Well needless to say I left the store without making a purchase. Can't believe the minimum wage for these idiots has been increased and Arco is hiring mentally unstable freaks to man their counters. Convienent location, but they REFUSE to get foam cups for their fountain drinks. The plastic cups sweat and the drink gets hot fast in the Vegas heat. You are better off going to Circle K. They have a better selection and the staff seems to care. read more

I pull up almost running out of gas place is bright and lit up I walk in and seconds after I walk in the employee behind the counter says they are closed, no signs around stating that outside... there are better ways to do business and to advertise that you're close I would first recommend turning the outside lights off or down so people don't waste their time turning off the road to get to your station this happened approximately 1:50 a.m. on a Saturday night / Sunday morning. * also, it's 2016 and you're a gas station, you make plenty of money there's no need to charge your customers a debit card transaction fee just another indicator of the mentality and way your owner runs the business, the shiny new station will only outweigh bad operations for so long. read more

I went to get my car washed and the cashier sherry who claimed she had been working there for 3 years decided allowed me to purchase a car wash even though she knew that the car wash was closed which I didn't notice until I approached entrance area to the car wash once I noticed I then returned to the store and asked the lady if she can just refund me for the car wash because it was closed she then tells me that she can't refund my money because she doesn't have the authority to refund my money because her manager wasn't there I asked her if we can call her manager to get the approval because I didn't have the time to come back to get my car washed within the 24hr period she claimed I had to use my wash code due to me going out of town she then refused to return my money and just shrugged her shoulders and said ole well on top of that she then starts to insult my intelligence and the customer behind me because he also couldn't understand why she couldn't refund my money for a car wash she sold me literally 5 mins prior to me coming back in the store at this point she begins to argue with me and the customer behind me she needs to be fired immediately her service is horrible and she is going to ruin the reputation of this location if you don't discipline her about her attitude I am a loyal customer to this location and have dealt with this lady multiple times where she has been ok but this shit I will not tolerate I want my money refunded and honestly I'm so disgusted by her service she has just cost you guys a loyal customer or two since she decided to insult the guy in line behind me which resulted in them two arguing as well. read more

Won't return here again. As you pull out of the car wash they inform you via and handmade sign the hand drying of you car is only included in most expensive car wash. No evidence of it anywhere else. In addition the vacuums have no ends to get in between seats and such. Time to fix up the place and not be lazy with your service. Worst customer service EVER!!! I went in 3 weeks ago on my lunch break and purchased an $11 car wash in store. When I went out to wash my car the line was long so I went back to work. Came back after work and it was down. So I went back the next day, which was a Saturday around 8:15pm and the car wash was closed. I went in store to ask the cashier why it was closed and he said they close it at 8pm on Saturday's. Went back again on Sunday and was told my car wash was invalid and had to speak to the manager on Monday. So again, I returned on Monday and spoke with the manager. She was very rude and basically told me my car was was good for 24 hours and I was SOL. I asked for corporates number and she pointed at the window. I've called "corporate" numerous times over the last 3 weeks requesting a follow up...their response is "these stores are independently owned and we have no control over what they do." Really?! Don't go here! This gives these owners the idea that they can do whatever they want behind the AM PM label and they won't be held accountable. read more

As soon as I got out to my car and realized I was not at the right pump I went back in to let them know of the error. They got a supervisor who told me "well that is your problem." Made a quick stop on a way to a BBQ. I was in need of a six pack and some ice cream. I was amazed at how busy this location was. I was reminded about just how.......hot this side of town can get. But that is another matter. Located Thrifty ice cream. Nice. Located beer. A tad on high side for a Sierra Nevada pale ale. No matter. Turned around and damn if there was not a line. A line bout six deep. Hoped in it. The one and only one clerk, had but one speed. Slow. Waited and waited a little more. In came another clerk. He got after it. I ended up at his counter. Price was just south of $20. Pulled out the AMX (all about the points). Was advised AM/PM does not take AMX. Pulled out another card. Was told there would be a 35 cent transaction fee. Could not swipe myself and handed it over. Waited and waited just a little more. Done. If not for the light heartedness of the second clerk, this would have been a S&%@ experience.
