I find their prices to be better than smaller liquor stores and grocery stores. Sometimes Sam's or Costco come close but they don't nearly have as much of a variety as these guys. They have a lot of locations and I believe they're the largest liquor store chain in the state. It's nice to see them expand and carry so many different types of products. I LOVE Lee's discount liquor!! This is my go to when I'm in need of something that I can't get from Sam's club. This location is close to home but I will go to any locations when needed. Staff is always helpful & friendly. I like how when you're looking for an item they can look in their computer to see what location carries it. I keep telling them to get McGillycuddy's big bottle of Butterscotch liquor. They carry the small nips in this flavor....please, please get the big bottle!!! I did pick up a bag of ice here the other day on my way to my friend's house for a labor day pool party & man it was a small bag & $$$. Ugh!! Don't go to any other liquor store in Vegas. They may be fancier but Lee's has the best prices in town. I also LOVE their yearly event (usually twice a year) Lee's Wine event. Buy a ticket & go to the event where you can sample lots of booze. Take pictures of your favorites so you can go to Lee's & purchase it. I've come across a lot of items that I've enjoyed at the event & bought @ Lee's. Wanted to pick up a large (1/2 gallon?) bottle of Myer's Rum today while out for appointments and other errands. Hubby suggested that I stop in at the horrible Albertson's near our house since I would drive right past it. He pointed out that they had expanded their liquor department when they expanded the store. I did. They had one small bottle of Myer's Rum; a pint. I went to Lee's Liquor, asked the Cashier where I would find rum, walked to the rum row, spent about one minute looking for Myer's because they have so very many rums, saw the big jug, returned to the checkout stand, paid and left a very happy camper. I notice that my previous review was only two stars. Big jump from 2 to 4. In the 4.5 years since my two-star review, I've shopped here no more than four or five times. But, in re-reading the previous review, I remember how hard it was to maneuver through the store. That was not the case today. As I was walking from the rum section to the checkout, I remember thinking how nice and wide the aisles are. I hope my review had something to do with that. read more

Placed an order online for nearly $150. They had nothing in stock that was listed as in stock online except the orange bitters I ordered. So one of the employees, Lance, called me and had me approve other brands, etc. so he could fulfill the order. Everything ended up costing me about $30 more, which was okay with me because this is a Christmas gift. One of the items he had to replace was stemmed jarred cherries. Lance told me there were no other kinds/ brands of cherries at the time he fulfilled the order. When I came to pick up my order today, I noticed that they had other types of cherries and asked if I could exchange them. Scott asked the boss at the store if I would be able to exchange them. He said that they cannot alter online orders. I replied that they had already altered my order by having to replace nearly every item in the first place and that Lance had told me that there were no other brands of cherries available (I was unaware that they had just gotten some in stock today which the boss quickly and unkindly made me aware of.) The boss then further told me that I must've approved those order changes over the phone, which I did. Guilty as charged - However, I was also ignorant of the fact that no further changes could be made once the order had been fulfilled (even if things were stocked the very next day and I wasn't informed that there was a shipment coming in and that maybe some of the original items I ordered could be available the next day). He then told Scott (as if I wasn't standing right there listening), "Well, she can buy the other ones if she wants." All if this in a very rude and condescending tone, as if I did something wrong when I was just trying to exchange some cherries (for more expensive ones). If he would've talked to me like a decent human being and explained the situation instead of being entirely rude, I wouldn't be feeling upset and writing this review right now. Unfortunately I've been here three times and every single time the workers are rude and unhelpful. The prices are more expensive than vons down the street. Don't ever go here if you need help because the workers don't do their job. The parking lot was full of large trash that not only blew out of the dumpster- but large pieces of wood strewed about that never made it in the bin. It's disgusting and bad for the planet. You should be embarrassed when customers have to drive their vehicles over trash. No one else's business in the seven hills area is this filthy and disgusting. The floors never seem to have been mopped. Your better finding a bottle of pirate rum in a shipwreck than walking into this mess. read more

I have been a loyal customer at this store at Eastern. However, this week, when I was shopping there, I asked (the ever changing cashier person) how my points benefits me. First they did not know when it starts and when it ends as they did not know when my first purchase was. I asked what they meant by not knowing when my first purchase was.... they said they did not know readily and would not explain exactly how this point system works.... They just look at me why I was so interested in the point policy....As I had felt being given the run around, I told them they were poor ambassador for this store and said I can always go somewhere else to get my wine anyway. So if BevMo and Costco has a baby, Lee's Discount Liquor would be their spawn. The bright lights with a huge airy/industrial feeling is why it reminds of Costco. The BevMo part is 'cuz this place is full, I mean FULL of boooooze, booze and more booze. Each section is divided by type of liquor; for example the main wall/section to the immediate right when you walk in is primarily, if not all - whiskey! Yum! Otherwise the store is divided accordingly. They sell almost every kind of alchie, also included wine and beer! I appreciate the store with its organization and easy to find mentality. The customer service isn't that bad either. I enjoyed meeting the cashier chick (okay, don't be mad I totally forgot her name) with the purp hair- she was super chill! She actually convinced me to sign up for their rewards program, which is free! Basically if you plan on spending at least $2500 on booze in a year- opt for this rewards card. You accumulate points and get coupons and discounts! I'm always down for a discount! read more

The Costco of alcohol. With miles and miles of bad decisions, Lee's literally has something for everyone's taste... I'm not sure if that's a good thing for Las Vegas or not? Nonetheless, this is my go to spot for a quick bottle of wine or that pesky whiskey craving that usually comes over me towards the end of a work week. I love me some whiskey and although the options here can be a bit overwhelming, they are also exciting at the same time. Sometimes I'll play the "random bottle game" just to see what I like and don't like; the best part about this game is that you really never lose. Like I said, something for everyone... Craft Beer, wine, Tequila, and beyond. The prices can be a little higher too, a lot higher than other liquor stores in fact, but I would rather walk into a clean and inviting place of business than some sketchy liquor store with dust on the bottles and outdated product. Just had a bad purchase experience at Lee's Liquor store and wanted to share it with all for what it's worth. Today I purchased some liquor and a $20 bar set, the latter of which I later decided to return unopened because I didn't need it after all. While I would expect that liquor would not be returnable, I was informed that Lee's Liquor store will NEVER return ANY item, non-alcoholic or not. You buy it, you own it! The policy is stated in an indistinquishable 3-4" square sign taped to the counter which is barely noticeable. I was polite, accepted their explanation and left, but will NEVER shop in a store that takes NO returns. If you buy it from Lee's Liquor's, you own it! From now on I'll purchase such items elsewhere which doesn't have a "no returns" policy. read more

For the 2nd year in a row, I purchased a gift card from these people as a b'day gift for my son-in-law. (I made this year's purchase on Nov. 4, 2020). 1st of all, they require cash payment to purchase a gift card, so there's no paper trail of the transaction. When my son-in-law attempted to use his gift card, he was told they had no record of it, & he had to pay out-pocket for his purchase. I saved my receipt, which I texted to him after he returned home & told my daughter what happened. I called Lee's Liquor & was told there was nothing they could do about it. Went here on 6/23/11 to buy booze for a dinner I was having at my place with my coworkers. 12 Sapporos, 6 Guinesses and a bottle of Sutter Home Moscato came out to $25. Not bad at all. There's no way you could get that if you weren't drinking at home. My problem with Lee's is that #1, it's too dark inside. #2, things are crammed together making finding what you want difficult. Both times I've been here, I've had to ask for assistance in finding drinks. My #3 issue is that Duvel, my favorite beer, was selling for $13.99 for a four pack - ridiculous! +1: The Korbel is WAY cheaper here than at the grocery stores. This place is ok compared to their competitor. The location is easily seen on the corner of eastern and sunridge heights pkwy. It's a little goofy getting into the parking lot but nothing anyone can't figure out. I don't know if it's my personal preferences of drinks but they seem to run out of what I'm stopping in for. Rum and moscato wine... Why not keep my brand stocked? Otherwise the place is always kept clean. Sometimes I have to scavenger hunt for my wine but it just makes it a game for me. Sometimes the employees have to join me in the game in my search. Not well organized in my mind. And it's not a game I like to play for very long. And when you ask for help it's always "what's on the shelf is what you get" when they should be saying let's see if we can find it for you. Nope. SOL at this location. Often came here for bargain prices, as it is generally cheaper than the grocery store. Left frustrated today after I walked there on a break from work to get a soda, and was denied without photo ID. I didn't think to bring it- who would, when only grabbing a soda? What's next, the blood of my firstborn for a candy bar? Waste of time, and my break. Must be a new, beyond unreasonable, policy. This is one of the best liquor stores I have been to. My favorite is BevMo, but we don't have them here. GREAT selection of craft beers! The reason they don't get 5 stars is because their single malt Scotch selection is terribly lame. Just awful. You can spend $50 or $500. Not much in between. That is disappointing. Lee's has a great bourbon selection (which I'm into) and cool in-store sampling. Neat wine vault too, for the good stuff. Another cool feature is that if they don't have something you want, and another store does, they'll transfer it over. Good customer service too. They help you out to the car if you need it and the staff is always helpful, kind and pleasant. That's getting harder to find these days. I purchased several bottles of wine, vodka and olives at your store on Eastern. Upon arriving home, I realized the seal on the olives was broken, and they appeared to have been opened. Upon returning, I was informed that I could not return them. I was instructed to return the next day at 9am to see the store manager. Are you kidding me? If your having problems with returns, train your employees, hold them accountable, hire more experienced people, pay better, whatever.... but don't inconvenience your good customers in this way. Two days ago I purchased Plymouth Sloe Gin by mistake instead of their regular gin. I went in today with the unopened bottle and receipt and asked to exchange it for regular gin. The answer: No can do. Apparently the new management ( not owned by Lee's anymore ) does not allow it. I will find a new local liquor store. read more
