Dark short Indian guy working at 4:30am-ish to 5am on feb 2nd is an absolute jerk. He started screaming at me and my 2 friends. Then he proceeded to act like he is running to the side to grab a GUN then keeps it low but when he tried to come forward we clearly see it's a phone. Then says he is going to call the police once we realized he was holding a phone. This was occurred because our Apple Pay declined one time. His cousin later comes to relieve him from his shift and is basically laughing at his cousin and telling us sorry for the way he is behaving, he also would not tell us his name and kept saying he is the owner, when I said you aren't the owner he went even more insane. I was low on gas, looking for the first ARCO station on my way home. The debit card price at this station, 2840 E. Imperial Hwy, seemed OK. So I pulled in at pump #3. I inserted my debit card, entered my PIN, agreed to the $0.35 debit card fee, then removed the pump handle and went to press 87 octane. The pump had "pre-selected" 91 octane. Pressing the 87 button did not work. I did not want to pay 0.35 for 0 gas so I put in 1.3 gallons. I went inside and complained about the issue and just got a blank look from the attendant. I left the location, and I have requested a refund from customerrelations@marathonpetroleum.com for the price difference of $0.30 per gallon AND the $.35 fee (since I was unable to get the grade of gas I wanted). Beware of the pump that automatically "upsells" you to a grade of gasoline you do not want. read more

Do NOT come here during peak hours! DO come here any other time! PRICES: You can't beat their prices. It's the cheapest gas station by far in this area, and they've stayed consistently the cheapest in the past 3 years I've been coming. It also helps that it's right off the 57 freeway. However, this causes a lot of traffic, which leads to long waits. But if you want affordable and you don't mind the wait, it's worth it. TRAFFIC: I used to hate that cars would drive in from all directions and people were always cutting in line, but they painted arrows to guide the traffic in one direction and one direction only. Not everyone follows the arrows, but it really improved the craziness that it once was. As long as you're coming outside of peak hours, I'd recommend this gas station! read more

Would give 0 starts if possible. The clerk hit my car and demanded that I turn around although my gas tank was on the side that I pulled in to. The layout is ridiculous and doesn't allow you to even properly turn around. At that point he blocked me from getting out of my car and continued to be rude after I asked how I was supposed to get gas. I'm short so I can't get the hose over my car and quite frankly that isn't even good to do to your car. By the time you try to turn around, people are too aggravated about the situation that they won't even make room. I WOULD NOT GO HERE. Save yourself the stress and save your car the damage from the clerk and the gas hose and go somewhere else. There is an Arco right down the street off of Bradford and Yorba Linda which is charging about the same prices, if not $.05 more and there is no line. read more

This is the absolute worst gas station I have EVER EVER been to. I have never come here, dealt with the people inside and left happy. EVER. Ok, paying for gas with quarters is a joke, but I had to use those four freakin quarters for something. So I go to pump my gas, and they end up gypping me by that dollar. Hell no that wasnt a tip. I go inside to complain and they said I never gave them that money. WTF. Another time, I go in to buy a pack of cigarettes and they deny my ID. This is not you. What the fuck do you mean thats not me? Who the fuck else is it? WTF. Another time, I try to use my Camel coupon to buy cigarettes and they tell me they already discount their cigarettes. Bullshit. WTF. Why do I never learn my lesson? Good thing 7-11 is right behind them. This gas station is a mixed bag. On one hand, they have the best gas prices in town other than Costco. On the other hand, they allow kaos in the lines where people go the wrong way than the arrows cutting in line. I'll stick to Costco thank you. read more

(Reviewing the parking lot only) The most annoying and dangerous driving experience in Fullerton! Time after time I encounter dangerous drivers who don't seem to understand that you can't cross a double yellow line (from the 7-11 parking lot next door as well) and turn left onto north Associated Rd., yet they still do. I have seen countless near-collisions and have been in some close calls myself. After I lay on the horn to alert the driver, they sometimes give me the look of death (or confusion). They will often block the southbound lanes waiting to cross the double yellow lines on the north side. Excuse me for honking at your illegal gridlocking, idiots! I really wish the city and police department would do something about this. A cop could have a field day sitting in this area as someone dangerously crosses the double striped lanes literally every minute. Yet I've never seen anyone enforce this. Terrible. People really need to learn the rules of the road. So many bad drivers out there. Be careful. As for the station itself, I stay far away. The crowd that goes there is (generally) rather scary and desperate looking. There are much better gas options in the area. read more

Can you ask for anything more. Cheap Gas, nice clean station, and easy access. Also I know for my wife who hates getting gas one of her concerns is how well it is lit. This place is very bright and feels safe. I have found this to be one of the cheapest around for Arco. Next closest Arco that competes is over on Bradford and Yorba Linda. There are other stations around, but I pick this one every time. read more

I like going to this gas station because it is on my way home from work, but man oh man so does everyone else it is probably from 4pm to 6pm. Today I had no problem getting in and out , the only problem that I had was with ATM machine at the pump had to go inside the store and have clerk do it . I have always had problems at this store with the pay at pump and thought that it was my ATM card , but today I had my new card so I don't think it's the card but I will be back to get more gas. read more

The gas prices at this location are stellar compared with other gas stations. The am pm store also offers customers the ability to pick up a food item or drink if they want a snack. The downside to this location is the amount of traffic that you will encounter because of the low prices. Many people don't know how to wait in line. read more

Watch out for this ARCO 2840 E Imperial Hwy in Fullerton, they have fraudulent activity going on here & the owners let it happen. We went to get gas there & they told us our card declined so they swiped it again and told us it declined again. We know it was a good card so we went somewhere else to get gas but we noticed they charged us for the gas at this ARCO 2 times, both times they told us our car declined but it charged us twice and we never got anything from there. They gave us a voided receipts. We showed them that both declined charges took out of our account and showed it to them on the phone, they assured us they show a credit soon. We disputed the charges at the bank and this ARCO lied to our bank & told them we received cash back with the charges! Absolutely fraud! We showed them right away that the declined charges took out from our account and they would not do anything to fix it, and they lied to our bank acting like we got cash back but we really didn't receive anything at all. Watch out for this gas station, they are doing fraud here & the owners are in on it! read more

My girlfriend and I were here earlier today... the machine at the pump told her to see cashier so she went inside and payed on her card.... After some time passed by and I saw she hadn't came back to the car I decided to go inside and see what was happening... the rude man at the desk was telling her that her card declined and she needed to pay cash even tho we know her account for the card she was using had money on it... we had the man working there try it again and he claimed it was declined again... my girlfriend asked him to explain what was happening and why it kept saying declined when it wasn't saying declined on the pin pad in front of us... he very rudely accused her of lying and told her rudely to pay in cash... we decided to leave and go to a different gas station... later on tho we realized it showed that on her account that her card was charged multiple times even tho they claimed at the gas station it was declining.... WATCH OUT FOR THIS GAS STATION AND BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars the fact that I even had to give them 1 just to write this review makes me mad read more

This little gas station is handy late at night but it's always packed & out of control. Vehicles, the most aggressive one makes their own path regardless the direction indicated. Their driveway is very short & no room to turn if you're stuck in line. Their prices are always the lowest in the area. I guess sometimes it's worth the wait if you're not in a hurry. read more

Great prices, questionable service. Gas station people work hard. I really try to be super nice to them, because they really see and 'get it all'. But what they gave me was unacceptable and questionable. It's July Third, just before our USA Independence Day. I gave them $22, a 20 and two 1's, what I just laid my hands on first in my car's fund. Back at pump, would not serve, tried a few times with my selection. Hmmm. Okay. So I went to see if something had happened. As I entered the door, the male clerk said something to me I could not hear or understand, as I told him the pump was not dispensing. As I neared the register, I said "Hi, what's going on now?..." I was not even permitted to finish. The lady with him said, "The machine does not accept the 20 you gave us. You get another." I was absolutely, thoroughly puzzled, and my face must have shown this with my brow furrowed and my head cocked just slightly. Me: "What?", cocking my head even more, really just wondering. Standing there, in my scrubs work outfit, I was thrown as to why I should be withheld a common good, paid for politely with legal tender, and be blamed for their machine not taking my 20. She said, "Your 20 is older, the machine does not take it.". And? I thought. I then looked at it, looked up, eyes wide and given the body language of doubt and incredulity, just looked at them. I said, as plainly and evenly as I could to contain my now swift anger, "Your machine is not my problem. And this (pointing to the 20 now on the counter), is legal issue." There were about 3 seconds of silence as they just looked at me, no solution other than their enforced one. "But," I said as I took the 20 from her hand, "I'll go get you another 20." As I quickly left, the lady said something, but it did not register with me. Truly, I had no idea what other change was in my car, but hoped I did have another 20. I disliked the idea of buying less gas than able and having to return sooner if I had less than my potential tank's amount. Luckily, I found a newer 20. I really mean that. I simply handed it to the man, (the lady occupied with someone else), gave him an incriminating look of "you all should not have done that" and left the building, pumped my gas, and left... forever. No loss for them I'm sure. I thought it lucky to even get an open spot. As I waited at the stoplight on my way out, I questioned what had occurred. I had been forced to accept their "legal tender" standard, though not in their jurisdiction to set. Was the 20 legal? It should be; last I knew, there was no expiration from the old to new model, or any. They should have accepted it, machine problem or not. Had I handed them something questionable? I was strict but polite, and had the feeling they just did something illegal, yet it's their right as a business to set the rules, even if inconvenient and impolitely done, so don't expect to keep business. If she had said something like, 'I'm sorry to bother, but do you possibly have another $20 bill? Our machine won't accept this older version and we prefer the new', then it would be a whole different energy. Politeness that takes 10 seconds, matters. If we want a better society, we each have to make it happen. I could have lost more of my cool but didn't. It was 5:45pm. Just minutes down the road was my bank, which closes at 6:00. I could at least ask and change out the 20. Inside the bank, I somewhat amusingly and incredulously told the bank manager the story. She validated that the 20 was legal, it was the older version, more easily counterfeited, and the counting machines do not take them. She sweetly changed the 20 and I left, wishing them a Happy 4th of July. Right. I love my bank. So: We live in the USA. We have a common, valid currency since 1775. Whoever runs the business does have the right to refuse service to anyone, but I truly gave them no reason to do so. They do state their rules regarding payment. Their machine issue is not mine, and specifics declare that we may pay with cash to debit to Google pay and gas cards. Section 31 U.S.C. 5103 gives the basics, that "Cash is a legal tender for all public and private debts. The law does not say you can't restrict customers from paying with cash." Businesses may state before services or goods are rendered how payment is to be accepted, which they do. Cash is cash through the U.S., old or new, and is to be accepted; the form it takes, physical or electronic matters not, it is just one of many options. So many walking in that day had cash. So: To blame the customer, burden the customer with the inconvenience of retrieving another bill, ironically, in a *convenience* store, with our legal issue which has changed in appearance and possibly value but not validity, with cash being the basic accepted standard, is to me wrong. It is also an irony to use debit and be charged a(n) "(in)convenience" fee, which I may as well avoid. They have a legal obligation to accept U.S. currency given them. read more

I went and got gas from this location and was experiencing issues...filled up the tank and drove off, car was showing low fuel (the car is fairly new so I was so confused) I went back to the same pump, went inside and Yohanes quickly assisted me. Rip Offs!! Yes they have cheap prices but their pumps are inaccurate. I have a Chevy Colorado truck with a 21 gallon tank and their pump kept going to 25 gallons! i have never been able to put more than 20.2 gallons even when on very empty. Complained and showed proof their pump said it pumped 24.4 gallons (and it was going to keep pumping more!) and proof my truck has 21 gallon tank they ignored me !! read more

Great prices, but the lines are infuriating! I had to get out of my car and engage line cutters! The employees didn't care. My mother made me take her car there for gas. NEVER again. She can waste her life in that line. I will drive out of my way to Costco or pay more. Not worth the aggravation for a few measly cents per gallon. read more

The customer service here is the worst! Pulled up and paid $50 cash. Realized the line won't stretch to my suv so I went back inside asking for a refund as I'm going to have to use another lane. The lady gave serious attitude and wouldn't refund my money. She claimed she has no proof & that her system shows the gas was used. I offered her to look in my car the gage is empty & she accused me of scamming and maybe I filled up someone else's car. Which is impossible as there were many cars in line.
