Arco ampm stations are pretty standard. This particular one is a little special though because it is very spacious. There is plenty of room in the parking lot to move around the pumps. The store is a little far away from the pumps, but no biggie. Get your steps in. :) read more

Came in today to get some gas. Paid cash so had to go inside store as machines not working. Not a bad thing as I was able to grab a cold drink. The cashier lady was very friendly. The store was clean and offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks. I think this has to be the worst ampm market I've ever been to. It is not even worth ONE star. Always the worst customer service & Filthy!!! Today I got to experience the worst service ever by the Jerk guy behind the counter & the manager. Oh, and their propane service is awful!! Go to Chevron down the street. I have been trying to exchange a defective js west tank for weeks & when I went today they were very rude about it and told me they had no full tanks. This was not true as there were tons of full ones in the container outside with the orange tab. I called the propane company & confirmed that this location had just received a load of full tanks a week ago, which I saw while I was there. No idea why they had to be such jerks and not help me with the exchange. I have given my $$ to this ampm location for over 25 years. Never again. read more

Today at 8:00 am November 25 2020 stopping at ARCO AmPm at 5150 Manzanita Ave Carmichael CA 95508 to refill my gas tank the Store doors were closed and a hand written note was on the door "come back in 10 min". Is this a joke ? What kind a service is this ? Early mornings hours people stopped at this locations not able to get inside the store to purchase gas or anything else? The employee was a total prick. The store is hardly stocked and he kept trying to force a sale of a 20 oz. soda when they didn't have 12 packs available. I calmly explained I was looking for a 12 pack cause it's cheaper. That's literally the only thing i said to him then entire time I was in there. He then stated mimicking me saying, "Oh, there's nothing special here for me" over and over again. I'm glad my husband was there because the guy was giving off a creepy and aggressive vibe. All I wanted was a watermelon Red Bull. I knew I shouldn't have gone here. First off I couldn't hear the guy and I never in my life paid 9 dollars for 2 Red Bull's but okay it on my way convenience ya know ‍so I get them go to my car and it's flat super flat so I ask to exchange them. I squeeze the cans they are all flat. So I ask for a refund and he says no. So I left and threw them both in the trash. I will never never never go here again. I live about a 10 min walk away from this one and while I prefer Chevron for gas, I always come here for munchies and Gatorade. I love that it's 24 hours, it's clean, and that they carry my favorite Gatorade flavor which is really all I can ask of a convenient store. I've gotten to know most of the guys that work here and they are chill. Even the late shift ones. I can't imagine it's easy to work the overnight shift at a gas station but I've never had a bad experience or even a not-so-good-experience and I come here at least twice a week. Solid. read more

KHAN IS A FAULTY STORE CLERK LACKING INTEGRITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! I just spent 50 dollars in this convenience store, part of my purchase being a few scratcher lottery tickets. When I return home to scratch one of my purchased scratchers, I found part of the bottom ripped off! So I promptly take my ruined ticket and my receipt back to the store, where the clerk named Khan was still working. I explained to him that my scratcher was damaged and torn; he immediately retrieved the bottom half of the ticket and then attempted to convince me that it didn't matter that it was ripped. Then he checked to see if the ticket was a winner, which is wasn't, to let me know it didn't matter because the ticket didn't win!!! My biggest issue is that Khan was fully aware that my ticket was damaged when he placed it in the bag with all of my $50 purchase!!! Have some integrity and just say something to the customer out of respect!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will stay clear of this store, and I recommend you do the same!!! read more
