I came in today to get gas and paid cash. Had to get my change upon leaving. I asked the lady at the register if I could get my change. She literally stared at me while counting money and said nothing. She ignored me to my face. Her co worker waved at me that she would give me change but this already caused confusion because I was standing at the front of the line and other people showed up after. They in turn went to the said co worker waving at me causing me to be stuck in purgatory. A small lull finally got me to that said co worker and my change. Now back to Ms. IMTOOGOODTOSPEAKTOYOU. WTF? This is the closest 24/7 gas station to my house after work but every time I go there late there's a sign. I got there around 2am and tried 2 different pumps and neither worked. So I walked up and saw this sign, "will return at 3:20" I took the picture at 2:10... What is this employee by the name of Patty doing for more than an hour?? I pass by this gas station when I take the back way to work and a lot of the time I purposely go out of my way because the prices at this location seem lower than most. LOCATION: on the corner of Bonita Rd. and Otay Lakes Rd. near Von's, Bank of America, McDonald's PROS: low prices convenience store w/ lots of snack and drinks CONS: unfriendly attendants people trying to hock items to sell busy location few parking spots CONCLUSION: The attendants here aren't very friendly and there always seems to be people trying to sell you something for your car. Most people getting gas just want to get there gas and go, so I don't really appreciate that ( I feel bad brushing them off). The convenience store is always well stocked with a variety of snack and drinks. They also carry hot food if you like that kinda food. I hate that this place charges .35 to use a debit card but won't accept a credit card so you're forced to pay extra if you don't have cash. Also the attendants are usually rude and one of the male attendants sometimes smells like BO so bad I can smell him all the way across the counter. Pretty sure he's on something, too. This is used to be the cheapest gas in Bonita, now there is another station with the same prices. It sucks that they charge the .45¢ to use my card but since I bank at BofA (not for long though) I just take out a $20 and use that, but that's the problem I have to put gas in $20 increments. They have lots of coffee and soda to choose from and they always have good chips and snacks. Prices on other stuff are not the cheapest but its on the way. Cheapest gas prices in the area, helpful & friendly staff, and cheaper overall than the 76 station up the block. The staff are friendly, remember you, and again the prices are cheaper. A pack of smokes will run you around $5 here, the 76 station charges about $8 for the same pack. read more

pros...this station is right next to work. so i usually go here if i can't make it to costco. the prices are very reasonable, not sure about the quality of gasoline, but the car and scooter still run after multiple fillings. the workers here are really nice, and helpful. the shop is always pretty clean and orderly. cons...just the price of gas these days is way too much. and special thanks to the old lady in the gray toyota corolla on new year's eve! she personally blocked traffic with her car, just to personally tell me that my motorcycle's back tire was 3 inches in the no parking lines, of the side of the air/water machine. of course my bike was not in her way, completely out of the way of the traffic, cause that's where you would pump up your tires. didn't know if she wanted to pump up her tires or what, but i was there first, and i'm putting the coins into the machine of course i'm gonna use it. read more

Worst gas station ever! With terrible costumer service. I had half a tank of gas and only need $15 in order to get a full tank, so I decided to just spend $10, and what do you know the gas doesn't register in my car! This has never happened before, so I go inside and tell her my car didn't seem to get any gas. The lady starts telling me that theres nothing she can do about it and start lecturing me that, $10 isn't enough for half a tank, that her car needs more, and I tell her well it is for my car, and that I came in with 122 miles and that's what I still have after pumping the gas. She then continues to yell at me while I never yelled I simply told her what my problem was and to check if the pump is actually working. She does the opposite and just starts yelling at me that her car takes more money and that $10 isn't that much, so I probably don't know because I'm too young and since she's older she knows ect, and that if I drive off my car will probably register the gas later. And I continue to tell her my car isn't like that, maybe we can check it, and she just shos me away with an another copy of the receipt, and tells me there's nothing I can do. In the end my car only register two bars. So the pump clearly wasn't working and she wasn't willing to check. Also their gas must be terrible if my car didn't register until 4 minutes later. I've gone to shell, and even this gas station in the past and my car has never delayed registering the gas before. All I really wanted was for her to check if the pump was working. How do you know if a pump isn't working if you don't listen to a costumers feedback? She obviously didn't take me serious due to my appearance. This place is the dumps from what it was few months ago. The gas price isn't that great. I use to stop by in the morning for coffee, no more, I go to 7-11 now. And I go to Costco for gas it's cheaper plus Iget 12+ cents per gal rebate back on my Amex credit card so way cheaper. All new employes and they seem lazy. read more

Wow talk about horrible customer service. The "cashier" Cindy was the absolute rudest person I've ever dealt with at a gas station. And she didn't even have to say anything. That was the issue. I only went in to pay bc their pump wasn't working when I put my debit card in. So nicely I said oh it wasn't working. This kid didn't even have the decency to apologize or say oh at that. She said mmm. Like umm okay are you that incompetent of being nice. A smile wouldn't hurt and she could talk bc she did talk to her associate but not to any of the customers. I'm very upset with this gas station right now. I was pumping gas and all of a sudden the gas started squirting all over my car. I ran out and had to pull the pump out and the gas squirt all over me!! It starting pouring out of my gas tank all over my car and the floor. I ran into the arco and the lady didn't even help. She said it's not a big deal just wipe it up with towels. At this point I was so upset since it was a big deal... This gas station is an absolute disappointment it is only half a mile from my house and then I also have a 7-Eleven closer to my house, gas is more expensive than the Arco station however I have to tell you that their melon drink out of there soda machine has bugs in the melon drink. When we told the attendant at the gas station his reaction was nonchalant as "oh yeah we know it's going to get fixed" but it's only in the melon drink not the sodas. He pretty much didn't care so we left. It is absolutely disgusting that a store or gas station would ever sell product like that to their customers without putting a sign and furthermore how did the bugs get into that machine and supposedly only for the melon drink? People I suggest you always check your beverage cup before taking a sip. To the owners of this gas station we have notified the health department.
