If I could give them 100 stars, I would do so! Amplify DJs was without a doubt, one of the best vendors we had for our wedding. Nate DJ at our wedding, and boy did he deliver! Before we even hired Nate, he didn't know that he was a part of me and my husband's story because my husband asked me out while on the dance floor at a wedding that Nate was DJing. When we told him the story, he was beyond excited to be a part of it, and he even told it at our wedding that was such a sweet and special touch that I didn't know he was going to do. Their communication and professionalism is top-notch, and they truly want to deliver The experience that you and your partner specifically want for your wedding. We asked for a party vibe, we didn't want to stop dancing the whole night, and we did not stop dancing! Nate jumped into the crowd with us which we wanted, and staying with us to songs all throughout the night. He even surprised us with a little bride versus groom battle, which gave us some of the best core memories we will ever have. I quite literally cannot say enough good things about our experience with Nate and amplify. The music selection was spot on, and we didn't even give him too much direction beyond just genres. They make sure you fill out a long form so they know specifically an exactly the kind of music you do or don't want at your wedding. He even edited my ceremony song for me so that I would have my favorite parts play while I was walking down the aisle. You want them as your DJ at your wedding, trust me! Let's start here... At 9pm, when the music stopped, our DJ Dakota asked my bride if she wanted to end the wedding early because his WIFI wasn't working(WHAT!?!?). That's right, he didn't have music to play. One of our guests plugged their phone in and played off of her downloaded apple music. We were extremely clear that there would be absolutely NO profane music and he played multiple UNEDITED EXPLICIT songs including the song during the bouquet toss which had everyone's attention. We were mortified. 70% of our guests at the ceremony think that we didn't have any music playing. We paid an extremely talented guitarist that nobody got the pleasure of hearing. Nate tells me that falls on the guitarist, but he also stated that Dakota did the sound check for him and the reason that the music was nonexistent is because the crowd absorbed the sounds....(at an outdoor ceremony??) Dakota was COMPLETELY DISASSOCIATED with the crowd and was a HUGE disappointment. The owner Nate apologized; him and Dakota "feel terrible" and he offered to take us to dinner. HE SAID NO TO A REFUND. I have never been so humiliated by a company in all of my life. Everyone talked during the speeches and nobody could hear anything. One of my guests approached me and said they went to the DJ and told them they couldn't hear out of the speaker because its echoing. The DJ responded with "that's just the way it is and I can't do anything about it". We had two meetings prior to the wedding. They were late to both. Small detail but it all adds up to literally nothing going right. There are a lot of great reviews and I know everyone is human. I understand that disasters happen. What I do not understand is how this situation is handled. They sell themselves on "we are much more than just a DJ, we also coordinate and make sure everything goes smoothly". They couldn't even fulfill their contract which reads "The DJ hereby agrees to skillfully and faithfully render his or her professional services and is AT ALL TIMES TO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OF HIS OF HER PROGRAM ". Pretty positive that contract was breached when one of my guests took the DJ's role and played her downloaded music. read more

Amplify Entertainment, is beyond a doubt, the go-to DJ service in the Tallahassee, Big-bend area of North Florida. Their customer service was responsive, worked hard to set up our event, and the web applications were easy to navigate. We had to reschedule our event three times due to COVID, and they worked with us each time without complaint. As for the DJ service, it was top-notch, and we will be using Amplify Entertainment for all of our school's future social events. read more

Having a wedding during a pandemic is difficult in itself but having Nate from Amplify as our DJ was the best decision that we made and made our lives so much easier! He was very involved and attentive to our needs. We even had a potential disaster when our caterer decided not to show up and he rearranged the order of the reception to keep our guests entertained while my brother made a mad dash for food. I cannot speak highly enough of Amplify Entertainment! Nate runs the best DJ company in town, and he really blew us away- he tailored the music selection in our ceremony and reception to our music taste, and he didn't just play a generic wedding music selection. The music felt very unique to "us", and it was because Nate made a conscious effort to make it that way! Nate is extremely organized and detailed, and he is incredibly friendly and creative! In our planning meetings with him, he got us very excited about the wedding. He was super helpful in his timeline suggestions, and he really made our wedding transition smoothly between the night's events. 2 days prior to our wedding, category 4 Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle. Nate was calm, positive and incredibly professional and made it there for our big day without hesitation. He was ready to use a back-up generator in the case our venue had no power which proved to us how adaptable and flexible he is. He played "Rock you like a Hurricane" as the first "dance floor" song which got everyone up and dancing! Nate excitedly took song requests all throughout the night- you can tell he really loves what he does! He also made an amazing "story of us" slideshow with pictures of us from babies to today. It was a great personal touch to the wedding, and people loved watching it. All of our guests came up to us after the wedding to express how amazing Nate was. Wedding planning is hard, especially if you don't enjoy planning. Fortunately, Amplify makes the music element SUPER EASY for you once you get to that part. They are extremely thorough with the planning process from their packages and add-ons to the ceremony and reception planners. Communication and payment are also a breeze (really loved that I could make multiple payments online). We worked with Lane and he did an awesome job orchestrating our wedding and playing our must have songs AND keeping the crowd going. Would choose them again in a heartbeat for our wedding! read more
