Good food, clean place. Delivery is always a little slow and I swear they get the order wrong almost every time. Just today they sent me a plain when I ordered and paid for pepperoni. I've ordered from here more then a few times Everytime it's for delivery. When I call to place the order there really friendly on the phone and time wise is the same as anywhere else. Out of the times I've ordered only once did it take an hour to get are food. My fiancé loves there cheese steaks and breaded mushrooms. Although The last time we ordered he said it was a little on the greasy side and wasn't as good as the past times. Delivery order of Calzone and Cheese Steak. Prices were very fair, whole thing with delivery and tip was $21. Cheese Steak was above average...added sweet peppers. Sausage Calzone was on the money. Can't vouch for the pizza, but based on the Calzone I bet it is very good! read more

Good pizza and the young guys (brothers) who own the place are very nice. We found Amore when the seasonal BBQ place that used to set up across the street was closed one day, and have stopped back many times since. The thin crust pizza is New York style; very good. I like mine a little wetter than normal. If you ask for a little extra sauce, they will gladly accommodate you. The salads are very fresh, and are loaded; you'll get more than just lettuce and a slice of tomato. The fried seafood is nothing special; open the bag and dump in the fryer. Honestly, sometimes you get tired of pizza during lent. The cheesesteaks are very tasty, but I wish they offered larger options. Amore's cheesesteak is a good size for lunch or a small appetite, but if you want to order a couple huge hoagies to feed the family, this isn't the place. We live nearby and decided to give this place a try. We ordered 2 large pizza special early on a Friday night. I called it in my way and was surprised when it was ready when we arrived since it was about 15 minutes early. When we got home & opened the boxes we were shocked to see pizzas were misshaped and all the cheese slid off of the crust. It was like they were turned sideways and held there for a long time. The taste and quality is really a breath of fresh air from the best pizza i ever had to the fried chicken( to die for) to the pasta sautees and to the phenomenal diffrent crazy infused salads that come with a variety of fruit berries nuts pineapples calamari and REAL TIGER SHRIMP or FRESH SALMON they got over 20 diffrnt salads that you would see on an episode of celebrity chef or bobby flay vs ramsay..The family that owns it is there everyday working hard which i love to see because it shows they care about the food and there customers. I can't tell you how disgusted and disappointed I am with Amore Pizza in Bear. We used to order from them once a week from home and work. I talked them up to everyone. So, Sunday evening I ordered a fried chicken dinner with fries and such. As my son and I had eaten some of the chicken and fries, my other son said he had a bug in his chicken. I didn't believe it until I saw it. Needless to say we sent our food back and got our money returned. I expected a call the next day from a manager or owner and that never happened. I had to call myself to tell them what was in my food and sent pictures. The manager Connie was horrified and apologetic . As for Steve, the Owner, he calls me back to argue that what I saw was chicken blood, not a bug. First of all, how about a humble apology and offer something ( not that I would eat there again) but it is the thought. He basically said, "I have nothing more to say." Great customer service. I recently started going to Amore Pizza and both the food and service are very good. I especially like the chicken bites, very large juicy pieces of chicken. The part that makes this place exceptional though is the HONEST staff. I had lunch at the restaurant and after leaving, about an hour later I realized I had lost a ten dollar bill. So I called the restaurant thinking there is no way it would be there, but to my surprise one of the young ladies that was working found it and left it with the manager. Unfortunately the young lady that found the money had already left for the day, so I didn't get to thank her. So if you are in the area and you want some good food for a good price stop in, I think you will love it. read more

I purchased an order of 10 chicken wings last Friday evening from Amore Pizza at their Red Lion Road location. When I opened them after arriving home, they were extremely undercooked, almost raw. I immediately called the store and was told to bring them back. Because I was already home, approximately 20 minutes away, I had guests at my home, and it was ten minutes before the store was closing, I told them I wouldn't come back that evening. After speaking with several persons, I finally got the manager on the phone. She told me that she would give me a credit towards my next order of wings and this info would be noted next to my phone number in the computer. A week later I called to get my credit wings and I was told that I was barred from the store, I was not getting any wings and they no longer wanted my business!! After speaking with several people again including a manager, a gentleman came on the phone and said "you do this all the time, we are not giving you a credit"!! I replied "what are you talking about, I have only been to this place three times and last week was the first time I ever had a problem." He finally told me that they would give me my money back, but they did not want my business. I am simply appalled at the way the staff handled their mistake of serving undercooked food!! There was no politeness, apology or anything resembling customer service extended to me!! You don't have to bar me from your business, because I will not return!! Further, I will encourage everyone I know not to patronize you in any way, catering included. Ironically, I belong to several organizations that have used your services in the past, well consider them barred too!!!! read more

It would not take much for Amore to be GREAT. It used to be great. All they need to do is improve their sauce! Sauce is the heart of the pizza and sadly, the sauce is so bland my kids have even been turned off by it. Imagine kids turning their nose up at pizza! EVERYONE loves pizza! Just horrible customer etiquette. Placed order at 615pm and order just showing up at 749pm. When I call to inquire they get upset. I'm only 1/4 mile away and refuse to call them again. They can keep they're good pizza with that bad phone service, manager was NO help at all, the females at counter are rude and obnoxious.
