DO NOT BOOK FACIAL HERE - BURNED FACE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE…read more I went to Bella on January 16, 2024 at 3:15pm for a facial. I took a picture before so I could compare to the after (which time stamped). During the facial, she held the LED light on one spot on my forehead for too long and it caused a burn. When I winced she took it off and I believe cooled it down in water, my eyes were closed so it may have been something different. Immediately after the facial, I took another picture ( time stamped) and had discomfort to the area. I thought it might resolve overnight, however it was still present the next day and I took another picture. I understand that many small businesses are struggling and I reached out to the team directly with the pictures and what happened. I requested an apology and a refund. Despite this, they did not believe me and wanted me to come in person. I live in a surrounding community and was unable too. They asked to meet over Skype and I was unable to at that time and provided an alternative time. They then told me they did not see it in person the day after it happened and would not refund me. They stated I needed a lawyers letter and they would process it through their insurance and see. It is very unreasonable for me to pay $500 for a lawyers letter to get a $120 refund. I understand that complications happen and I tried to deal with Bella Spa directly for an apology and a refund and they should extremely unprofessional behaviour. Save your face, go to one of the many beautiful spas in the Okanagan!

I got purple peek a boos and blonde foils…read more In 3 days the purple has completely faded and changed color to a weird almost blue black, it's bled into other parts of my hair making certain parts rose pink. The blonde they did has inconsistent color through out. I also didn't get the amount of purple I asked for. I showed examples of what I wanted just so it wouldn't get messed up. I asked for a cut and thinning as well and they said yes they could do the color, cut and treatment but was told when I got there that I wouldn't be able to get my hair cut because of time constraints which they had booked me for three hours 1-4. It came out to be $354 for a poor hair color, and I got my bangs cut that look like a three year old cut them. I have been contacting them and they said to come in Saturday at 12:30. I went confirm if I was booked for that day after they sent me a voice mail saying that other people wanted my appointment time, and I have not received a response weather or not I am book in.

The staff was overall very welcoming, offered to start us off in the sauna and then we were led to our massage rooms. The massage itself was great! One thing I will say is to be very specific about what you want otherwise they will just go through a routine. But I find this important for most massage spots. The reason I'm giving this a two start review is because of the pedicure. The woman doing my massage repeatedly cut me, and when I was jerking away she didn't stop. The polish is also very messy and after multiple times asking her to fix it she did not. So for the overall value after the upcharge for shellac polish that now I'll just need to get removed I was very unhappy with the service! I believe the women there are all trained in everything so obviously did not specialize in pedicures! Also as far as polish selection goes they don't have many so if you're looking for anything out of the realm of pinks, nudes and darker reds you'll be disappointed! So I'd recommend this place for the massage, but definitely stick to an actual nail salon for the toes!

The room was completely cozy and comfortable and it was awesome that they gave us the option of being in the same room even though we were just a couple of friends and not a "couple". Ha. A really lovely experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone headed into the Kelowna area. I had a strong reaction to the products that they used, and my face broke into tiny little puss pimples that lasted for three days. That is not their fault, it was my body's reaction to the seaweed products that they use however it did take away from ever wanting to go there again. My friend and I were in a room so that we could be together. The lady that gave my friend her facial - had a very squeaky chair, so every time she moved in her chair, it took away from the ambiance of the quiet and the serenity of what we had hoped to feel during our facials. Also, the young woman that gave me my facial did not have her hair tied back and it kept brushing into my face and I didn't like that feeling. And , my face was so oily that I slept with a towel over my pillowcase for two nights.
