Being in a medical field I would know if a doctor really cares or just see you as a number. I'm so glad that we found Dr Amor Quinio, she's been my kids' pediatrician since Dr Esther retired almost 4 years ago. Every time we come she would always welcome us like a family, she's really friendly and she takes time to explain and answer all questions and concern. My youngest son started very scared of shots, he even tries to hide behind chairs to avoid shots, last week when we went I was surprised that he didn't even mind getting 3 shots on his arms when Dr Quinio administered it. That's how doctor makes you feel comfortable, she would even talks about her own experiences being a kid, her travels and family when nobody is waiting. We love being in her office. They don't overbook schedules. I have never waited more than a week to get an appointment and never ever waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room or in the treatment room. Her office is not crowded like other offices where sick and well babies are all in the same waiting area. I 100% recommend her to my friends and relatives. You'll love her! read more

We moved to the area about a year ago so we've been coming to dr amor I recently transferred my oldest daughter to the office only to be informed a few weeks later that dr amor would no longer be their doctor it would be dr Elias. We met dr Elias he was well educated and made us feel right at home I brought my youngest for a visit and I just have to say how disgusted I'm by the way i was treated by the staff. I gave them my information and they refused to use my insurance only wanting to use her fathers the issue wasn't that I had to pay his co pay the issue was that I had just had all of their insurance information transferred to their location. I'm currently now looking for a new pediatrician for both my children read more

Likely to Recommend: 100.00 % Usual wait time less than 15 min. Dr. Q's office is a one provider office. open m-th, and 1/2day on F. She has been my daughter's pediatrician since she took over this office several years ago. Zonia is her primary nurse, and always greets us by name with a smile. Both Dr. Q & her nurse inquire about how my daughter is doing in school, sports,etc. and show an interest in how her teen aged life is progressing. Not just why we are in for a visit. Bout 5yrs back Dr. Q suggested we try to get my daughter off of the asthma medication(for allergies). I mentioned we were exploring new flooring. Dr. Q suggested we go carpet-less, because of the amount of dust and dander that carpet holds onto. No matter how clean u keep yr house, or how often u vacuum, carpet is still a big problem for homes of children w/ asthma. We went with laminate & tile flooring in the entire house, and Dr. Q stopped 90 % of the ASTHMA MEDS. for my daughter. She is off most of the meds she used to take daily. Now only carries an inhaler for b4 sports. read more

Love her as our pediatrician but the wait can be a while though to be honest. It can be about an hour wait whether your early or on time for your appointment. But seriously I don't mind the wait because I trust her with my child's health and well-being. She is a very nice and understanding person with great advice if you ask for it. Only slight negative about this place is there is a certain assistant that she has that is slightly rude, and pushy. Other than that best pediatrician so far! She's even there for you after hours as well!! read more

I have had to wait for my daughter checkups for more than an hour before. I went by all the 5 stars. Yes Dr Quinio is very nice but you can't make appts where you wait in a room for an hour and then have to wait for vitals then the dr. Makes for a full day! I've also never been fond of the take in nurse. She has been nice sometimes but other times I feel a sense of attitude. One time I had her angrily tell me about where to dispose of my babies diaper. Little did she know I can read all the signs in the office as it directed me to throw it outside of the building. It would have been nice to check I did that instead of assertively try to tell me again. Anyways I'm glad I switched as of today. read more

Dr. Quinio is awesome. She has taken great care of my three kids (13, 11, and 7) for many years.

I move to Rch Cucamonga since 2009 and I been bringing my kids to Dr Quino ever since I really like going there and my kids like them as well,they are really friendly and very caring and she is a great doctor and the nurses Zonia and Zulema are really nice as well. Im glad I found such a great Pediatrician office near by. they always ask how we are doing ask my kids how are they doing how are they in school and even ask about the the kids that are not there.Very happy with the services they provide us with read more

Dr. Quinio is a very, very good Doctor but unfortunately i had to change pediatricians because I could NOT stand the attitude of her assistant. She is so rude and snappy. She told me i already had my baby spoiled just because he wouldnt stop crying in the waiting room. Hes only 4 months!! Im sorry but you dont make those kinds of comments to your patients. Sad to leave Dr Quinio but its not worth the 5 minutes she spends with her patients. read more

Doctor is very nice and caring. She took her time with my kids. The nurse was very nice too. The wait time was not bad. I work in the medical field so I know that sometimes the wait can take longer than other times depending on the patients needs. I like that I was able to take my 3 kids all at the same time for a physical. Some clinics only limit 2 at a time. read more

I went to Dr. Quinio to get an ESA letter (emotional support animal letter) for my cat so I could bring her with me to a new apartment, I called ahead to make sure she would do it and I was asked if I had any papers I needed her to sign and told the nurse I did not so she gave me the OK to come on in. I also asked her if I could get a mole checked out on my back. So I get there and there's no one in the waiting room, there's one patient in the back and I wait for an hour, then she calls me back and rudely interrogates me about why I need this done, so I say I'm looking to take my cat with me to a new apartment because I'm moving and she helps me with my anxiety disorder. She asks me if i'm on any medication for my disorder which I reply no (obviously because I've opted out of any medications for my anxiety), then she asks me if I have the address and the landlords name so she can address the letter to them, I haven't moved yet and don't have an address and she says (in an EXTREMELY rude tone) Well that's not how this works if you don't have an address I can't give you this, Which by the way IS NOT how it works you don't even have to tell your landlord if you have an ESA animal before you sign a lease to avoid discrimination, if at all!! I've done my research and since then I've gotten the ESA letter. She straight lied to my face about this, thinking I'm stupid or something. I don't know if she was being so rude to me because I'm older (19, anyone under age 21 can use a pediatrician and my insurance assigned me to Dr. Quinio) or what but OMG she was so rude and condescending. Also when I asked her to check out the mole on my back she said well if you're moving idk if I should even GIVE you a referral. Completely unethical seeing as this particular mole could be precancerous and she knows it, so I tell her i'll be down here often and can still go to the doctor over here, so she "writes a referral" to the dermatologist as we're walking out of the room, didn't give me a slip with the doctors name or ask for any other information from me, I checked my insurance online portal under Referrals where it would show a pending authorization and there's nothing, it would've showed up as soon as she sent the referral over. Like I said she's COMPLETELY unethical I would never recommend her to anyone, very rude and snotty towards me even though I had NO attitude at all, I was just looking for some help and I got this instead. Bottom line, I recommend you take your business elsewhere unless you want to be lied to and talked to in a condescending tone. read more

Dr Q was brought in at a perfect time. She became my sons doctor after we lost his pediatric Dr. . Dr.Q and Zonia are GREAT !!! I love how they always acknowledge my son as a person and not just another patient. I have been with her for 10 years plus. After having a terrible pediatrician that caused my son to get C diff , Dr Quinio couldn't have came in a better moment. I will not change her for the world. No. Just, no. First of all, wait time is definitely, emphatically, NOT "less than 15 min." I scheduled my appointment for 5:00 PM expecting to be called up in around 15-20 minutes, a reasonable and expected waiting period for most pediatric offices. However, after 45 minutes of waiting, I go up to the front desk and inquire how much longer it would take until the doctor saw me. I was told that "I was next" by the unhelpful desk assistant and even though there was only one person in front of me, it was another 30 minutes until I finally saw Dr. Amor - for a grand total, ladies and gentlemen, of a whopping 75-minute wait. Of course, if I were horribly ill or in dire need of some medical assistance, maybe the wait time would have been worth it (or maybe I'd have died by then), but no. I came in there simply to have my prescription renewed. I do not understand why Dr. Amor could not have just simply prescribed me the medication (which was something she had seen me about before and had prior knowledge of). After all, she barely did any "checking" over when I was in her office. The doctor-patient interaction lasted literally around 5 minutes; she wrote up my prescription, barely looked me over, and I ended up wasting my time and money (copay). I would not bother writing this review, but I wanted to let others know of their ridiculous service, so maybe someone else may not relive an experience like mine. read more
