The fried items were very greasy and just heavy on the stomach for me personally, not the best quality food--Not sure I'd revisit. Downstairs is and upstairs they have large spacious rooms available to rent for your karaoke party. I guess that was ok but for a large party it was a little awkward with random orders coming in and out. The food wasn't great wasn't terrible.. the price point for food was also fair ! Pricing was very fair for the value we did order bottle service for the room at booking!

Last night I visited with a group of 6 friends for some late night snacks. We ordered a handful of milkshakes, some small burgers, and fries for the table. Nice thing is that service was prompt and our food was served as quickly. In past visits when they were busier the wait time for food was much longer. But that's usually been ~dinner time when the restaurant is also otherwise impacted, so nothing out of the norm. My key lime shake was delicious. Warning: these things are HUGE. Split or be prepared to have an unproductive rest of your day. Fries are so-so in my experience, but honestly when you're gorging down other things like burgers and milkshakes, I'm not focusing too much on any kind of superior fry quality. I'd have shown you a photo, but it was so good it was gone before it came to mind to snap a shot. At restaurants I'm a "get one thing and only get one thing" kind of guy, and for me that's the double Texas Ringer here. If it's your first time, that's what I'd start out with and you can branch out from there on later visits. SOLID burger. Restaurant is generally clean, given the amount of traffic that comes through. The neon 50's (?) vibe is a nice touch to match with the food that's being served for an all-around experience that matches. And open late? Great for your late night dinner or dive food cravings!

It was a weekday so I guess that is to be expected. The interior decor was simple and not too over the top. There is ample space for large parties (and from what I am told -- "the turn up"!). The sandwich itself had a good amount of shrimp however, the bread was a quite dry. There was a nice drizzle of sauce in the middle of the open-faced sandwich however... It was almost like they forgot to spread the remoulade or whatever sauce they used ON THE ACTUAL BREAD. I ended up discarding the bread and eating the interior since it was just too dry to enjoy as a sandwich. The fries were also a little underwhelming. Some of the fries were a raw and undercooked. The crab on top .... womp womp. It was a drizzle of shredded crab. No lump crab meat at all. I should have known by the picture but I had hoped for better and I definitely expected a little more crab for a $30 plate. Important to note, the cheese sauce and the "cray bong" sauce with the old bay was a great combination. Overall, I am still tempted to give this spot another try. I am a sucker for soul-food style seafood and they have a few additional items on their menu that I have an interest to taste. Hoping to give the crab fries one more try.

Let me first start off by saying the service was very good. Thank you Amina for taking care of our…read moretable. Now on to what was a disappointment. I ordered the BBQ Chicken and Mac Spring Rolls as my appetizer and the Dynamite Stuffed Shrimp with yellow rice and greens. The appetizer was dry and bland besides the drizzler of BBQ sauce. The roll taste like it was old and reheated in the microwave. I was at dinner with one of my girlfriends and asked her to try it just in case it was me. Nope, she said it was bad. When Amina came to our table to check on us, I informed her that I was not happy with my appetizer. She shared my feedback with the kitchen and they offered to remake it for me. The second order was better but it's not an item I would recommend to someone. The entree was a disappointment as well. The shrimp were small and I did not see where and how it was stuffed with the shrimp being the size they were. The upside to the shrimp was the flavoring/sauce were delicious. No complaints there. The yellow rice looked dry and was dry but I attempted to work with it by using the sauce from the shrimp but once I started crunching on the rice, I was over it. Now onto the greens. Geez, they were just bad. The greens looked like they were cooked with zero "love". I tried a small fork of the greens in hopes they tasted better than they looked and I was disappointed. The taste was as if they were stored with bad fish. So I smelled the greens and it was terrible. Perhaps this was an off day for the kitchen or just an unfortunate experience for me. I took a leaf of the greens and gave them to my girlfriend to smell and she agreed they smelled like seafood. Not what you want for your vegetable. Once again Amina came to our table to check on us and I asked her to smell my greens. She said they smelled like greens to her which was surprising to me but she offered to swamp them out for a different side dish so I opted for the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were okay but would not be something I ordered again if I for someone reason decided to return to this restaurant. I did not request anything to be removed from my bill, I paid it, gave a little extra tip for Amina's service.
