We couldn't believe how far our plant budget went - we now have lots of beautiful plants that bring texture and color to the flower beds. They also saved some of our existing plants that were healthy, but overgrown. Noah and his crew worked very hard. Yards Done Right didn't cut any corners on our project. The Yards Done Right crew is extremely polite, professional, and hard working. These guys really care about doing a great job on a project. Our new yard looks wonderful and we are loving our outdoor spaces again!

The work was much more than a mow and rake, we needed vegetation removed, or relocated, had a lot of in-ground concrete that had to go, etc. YDR completed everything asked of them. The only rub is that I could have used a little more communication as scope adjustments happened in relation to cost, but this is not unique to YDR, and there were certainly opportunities, in retrospect, where I could have begun or clarified those conversations. Overall I recommend YDR without hesitation.

I am 100% confident in the quality of Heath's design decisions and work. He does not cut corners - and the long term impact will serve you well. His leadership with his team shows his knowledge and his care to make sure they are mentored to do the small things right. Heath inspected work done by other landscapers, and let me have peace of mind to know that the work was done with care. He let me know the design decisions that would have been better, but was professional in stating that there might have been reasons why. That is the hallmark of a professional.

Richy and his assistant arrived a mite late due to an unforseen but minor issue but communicated with us promptly concerning the delay. Once they arrived, they worked consistently to get the job done, weed whacking some residual grass and cleaning a section of asphalt. The job took a total of about seven hours in all and was well worth the price I paid - plus a well-earned tip. I'll be hiring these folks again for some additional land clearing, tree trimming, and yard waste removal and I have no doubt that they'll do equally good work this time as well.

In all fairness, I waited a while to see how things would settle, but my opinion hasn't changed:…read morethis is a horrible company that did more damage than good. They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
