Clean space, kind staff -- but payment headaches, tight aisles, and no indoor seating…read more I chose Laundry Love while my home machines were being serviced because it's closest to me. First impression: very clean. The attendant on duty was friendly and helpful. The problems started with payment. The digital/card system was down, so it was quarters only. There's no on-site ATM, so I ran across the street to the liquor store, paid a $3 ATM fee, and came back. Later, when I needed more quarters, the change machine was empty or malfunctioning. The attendant improvised with a vending machine to get me $5 in quarters--above and beyond, but customers shouldn't need workarounds. Comfort and layout are issues, too. There's no indoor seating, and the outdoor metal benches sit in direct sun, so waiting outside is rough; I ended up sitting in my car with the AC on between cycles. Aisles throughout are tight, so moving a cart creates bottlenecks and lots of "excuse me" just to pass. The restroom costs 50¢--I get the deterrence angle, but a customer code would be fairer. Easy fixes: restore digital payment and keep the changer stocked; add an ATM. Comfort upgrades: provide shaded or indoor seating; offer a restroom code for paying customers. Laundry Love is clean and staffed by good people--but payment reliability and basic comfort matter. I'd gladly return if those are addressed; otherwise I'll choose another laundromat next time.

First of all, I had been washing my clothes at this place since December 2024 when it was called…read moreThe Laundromat of North Hollywood. Below are pictures I snapped the night of August 28, 2026 on my way home. The day I snapped the pictures below was four days after The Laundromat of North Hollywood was supposed to open up, but as you can see in the pictures engines were removed out of some of the machines, other appliances in the laundromat were stacked against the wall, the neon sign was off (it's been off for over a month), and etc. The place is now called Luxe Laundry with a temporary sign in front to let people know of its new name and new management. As for the old place, The Laundromat of North Hollywood, I had good times in there. Constant peace and quiet, other customers mind their own business, I never had problems with the washers or dryers, the workers there left customers alone but were around when you needed them. The Laundromat of North Hollywood had tabletops and chairs for customers to sit at when they were waiting for their clothes to wash or dry, vending machines, bathrooms, and two change machines. This laundromat had everything you could want as a customer, I just hope the new management keeps this place intact and doesn't change much. But as they say, change can be good and it can be bad. I haven't been in this establishment since July (the place closed down for repairs, new mangement, and etc. back in early August), so I have no idea what the heck is going on inside this place. In closing, I hope the new management doesn't screw up what was good about the Laundromat of North Hollywood because if they do, I'll go elsewhere. Here's to hoping that this place continues what the old management did and tried to do, but better.

Visited 08/09/26…read more This was my first time visiting The Laundromat of North Hollywood, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. This location is one of my sister's go-to laundromats because it's only a few blocks from her home. Since I was staying with her, we decided to walk over together. I carried my laundry by hand, while my sister brought hers in a wagon since she had blankets and several additional items. We arrived around 8:40, and even double checked the sign outside that says last load by 9pm. However, the gentleman working that evening immediately stopped us at the door and told us that the last load was actually at 8:30 PM. The laundromat was fairly empty at the time, so being turned away when we arrived before the stated last-load time was especially frustrating. What made this even more disappointing is that my sister has previously done laundry here after 9:00 PM when a different female employee was working. The inconsistency in when customers are actually allowed to start their final loads is concerning, especially when the business is advertised as being open until 11:00 PM. If the last load is 8:30 PM, that should be clearly and consistently communicated to customers and reflected in the posted hours. Customers should not have to guess which closing policy will apply depending on who happens to be working. My sister and I walked all the way over with our laundry only to be turned away, which was incredibly frustrating and resulted in a very poor first impression for me. I value businesses that are consistent and respectful of their customers' time, and unfortunately, this experience fell short. I won't be returning, but I strongly recommend confirming the actual last-load time before making the trip, as the hours and policies appear to be inconsistent.

I needed to stop by because my machine stopped working and my dirty clothes began to pile up, so looked for a local one nearby. This had great reviews compared to others and I can clearly see why. The employee here (possibly manager), was very attentive and kind during my experience, also was quick to help others with a sense of urgency. He noticed I was having trouble with the detergent dispenser because I did not have singles on hand, and asked if I needed change. Once I put the coins in and ordered what I wanted, I ordered the wrong detergent... (way to give myself away). Knowingly it was my fault at hand, I let him know that I'm sure they don't do refunds but I ordered the wrong detergent and if he wanted it back. Without questioning anything, he told me I can still get my money back. Damn, this type of excellent service threw my worries out the window, and for sure made me comfortable to come back again. Also parking is very open since if you don't find it in the lot, there's plenty of street parking, atleast around the time I arrived. Overall experience was easily a 5 and machines were all clean, ready to go and in working order. To the employee who helped me for my first experience, thank you for your generosity, attentiveness and you definitely need a raise.
